| Ark pushed Lucas backwards.
"Who else is going to take care of her if you don't?" Ark didn't care on the inside, but part of him, probably brought on by the lack of sleep, did. "You heard her! Who else can comfort her and try to make her feel better with her mother dead? Or would you prefer her to sulk forever?" Ark practically shoved Lucas in the direction Hailey ran. |

Ark turned around and started to walk out of the cave. His vision was starting to get blurry and his eyes were irritated, how long had he been awake? He walked all the way down to the edge of Angel Lake and sat down, leaning on the tree. He gazed over the lake for a few seconds and then nodded off. (edited by Dracoon on 03-17-06 02:46 PM) |

| Ark found himself standing in the middle of a lake. A thick fog hung over the air, trying to sufficate Ark. Ark reached for his spear, but it was gone. He looked around, to see if there was anything he could do. Ark heard something land in the water, it was very quiet though. He heard it again, and again, in a pattern, like foot steps. He turned to look where the sound was coming from and saw the figure of someone.
"Who are you?" "Who are you? Why are you hear? Ark thought he remembered the voice. "Guests should introduce themselves first." Ark figured that this was all in his mind, he was standing on water after all. "Yes, they should. There was an awkward silence for a few seconds. "I'm Ark. A forced traveler of sorts.' "You're also going to cause more problems than you can fix with your traveling." "You don't think I know that!" Ark felt incredibly angry all of a sudden. Was this person manipulating him? "Then why do you continue, why don't you just let yourself die? "Because... one day... I want to go back and live in peace at my home. One day, I want to put this all behind me and keep living." "No matter how many things die because of you?" "I do my best to never kill an innocent creature." "Really? You were very violent with those Divas, you destroyed part of the Crystal Forest, and you've killed soldiers for no good reason. Maybe you should just stop killing entirely and redeem yourself by offering your life to death." Ark was taken aback. "I can't risk being foolish... I have to kill to live and if that means I have to kill anything that attacks me, I will!" "It's so much easier when you can't remember your childhood. Did you ever think of the soldiers family or the creature's kin that would die without their family member to support them? Have you ever wondered just how much suffering you cause by dragging that girl all the way across the world. What about her family? What if she gets killed because of you?" Ark was silent. The person however wasn't. "What about Lucas and his daughter Hailey? What would've happened if Arminas hadn't saved the Yoshenyoshi? If you had been around Arminas and in full health, would he have risked his life if he noticed you risking yours? You already know you couldn't bust out, but you'd try to go and save the Yoshenyoshi, just to miss, I saw it in your mind before Arminas jumped to save the creature." Ark felt something grab his ankle, suddenly he was filled with courage and determination. "Lucas and Hailey have to work that out themselves, I'm not concerned. Arminas would've saved the yoshi anyways. Lily won't die and the families of the creatures I killed would've just grown up to try and kill innocents anyways. If they live or die, it's no concern to me!" Ark looked on as two hands covered his eyes and when they were taken from his eyes, he was somewhere else completely. |

| Ark had a new surronding around him. It was water everywhere, all around. He could feel someoen holding onto him as they sank deeper into the water. Ark could amazingly breath in the water like it was air. He reached behind him, grabbed the person who was behind him and turned around. Her purple hair covered her face completely and her familiar purple dress floated in the water. Ark thought he was in paradise.
"How are you here? You shouldn't have been able to follow me!" Ark waited in silence for a few minutes and then he realized. This was all a dream, none of this was real. Just his mind playing tricks on its lonely self. The dream world evaporated and Ark couldn't remember what else he dreamed. |

| "It's because no matter how strong I become, I'm always blown around in the wind. If I'm by myself, I wouldn't be influenced by others. I should've just ran off by myself a long time ago, but I've brought someone out this far and it's my responsibility to make sure nothing happens to them."
Ark stood up. It was a short sleep, but he felt a lot better. "You got those fish from this lake right?" Ark looked out towards the lake, spearing a fish wouldn't be hard, and there were trees around for cooking. |

| "It is nice to have friends around for help when you need it, but they have to be able to find you."
Ark walked over towards the lake and waded in to his waste. He held his spear above the water and suddenly threw it into the water. He dived under the water and pulled it out, a fish stuck on the end. He walked back to the shore, and grabbed twigs and fallen wood. "It is also nice when you don't need to depend on anyone though." Ark put all the twigs in a pile and held his spear above it. Light focused from the sun, through the spear, and into the twigs, causing them to catch fire. Ark found bigger sticks to keep the fire going and just used his spear to roast the fish. To bad it can never be instant. |

| Ark took a bite out of his fish while watching the fire dance.
"This fish is good." Ark took another bite from the fish. He was glad he knew how to cook things himself. He was used to it though. "Oh, hey Lily." Ark looked up as Lily came out of the cave. |

| "I could take the entire army as long as someone keeps the stronger people off of me."
Ark laughed, he was only half serious. "I hope he's good... and that he understands I'd lose to someone with equal strength to me. Nobody has noticed, but if I were to try and fight Arminas or Clara, I wouldn't be able to win until they were tired." Ark sighed. "I want you to stay in the back though, I don't even want you to try and fight if you see me getting killed." |

Ark stood up and took the last bite of his fish. He threw the remainder into the lake. "I honestly don't want you to see the battle. If you thought seeing anything up to this point was horrible, this battle will make it look like you were looking over a field of roses." |

Ark walked into the cave and started walking through the village. "To bad we didn't train the two long long demons so we could use them to attack the army. Would've worked out a lot easier." Ark reached the two story egg house, but didn't go in. |

| Marijuana is a very funny drug.
The tar that comes from a joint, or blunt, is actually weaker than that of a ciggerette. It's still tar, yeah, but it doesn't do the same thing and isn't as dangerous. |

Ark waited for Lily to get on his back, then he jumped up, bounced from a branch and landed on the top. "I love how high I can jump." "But I still need to beat that old bastard." |
