Ark looked into the misplaced hole in the ground.

"I almost got in a fight with Sky... I didn't really want to fight him, but he kept attacking me. Eventually Lucas got mad and almost killed us both. I think I slowed them down pretty good though."

Ark hopped over the hole and started to move towards one of the rafts. They'd have to remove one of the chains it seemed.

Ark stuck the raft with his spear and watched smooth crystals form over it. He felt an increadibly sickening feeling wash over him and he almost fell over. He regained himself, but looked more like a ghost than a living man.

Ark was lying of course, but he didn't want to upset Lily or stall everyone. It was something else, like a feeling of nostalgia that was over powering. What was hiding in this lake?

Ark sat on the side of the raft, he dragged his hand just under the surface of the water, the blisters on it from handling a weapon so much were starting to show. He relaxed the best he could, but remembering that monsters were swimming under them right now wasn't very comforting. Ark wasn't sure what he was about to do, everything became hazy for a second and he felt like he was about to be sick. He felt a hand grasp his hand that was under water and he was almost pulled off the raft.

"!!!"

Ark could only breathe sharply as he felt the pull become harder, eventually he was pulled off the raft and was hanging onto it with just he feet. He paniced, became angry, sad, worried, scared, joyful, and surprised all in the next second when he noticed a familiar face. Light violet hair floated in the way of his sight, but he knew who it was. He reached back with his hand and pulled himself and the girl up onto the raft.

He snapped awake and looked around. It was just a dream?

Ark noticed they were getting close to the shore. They would be able to catch up with everyone soon.

"Yeah, Arminas was totally going to sacrifice himself, but instead he busted the damn thing up from the inside. It was great, but honestly, this one didn't have the will power it's brother had. I wouldn't worry about it trying to attack again or something."

Ark didn't really know what else to do than give a rather butchered side of the story.

Mel calmly waiting on a tree above the road. Many traveled on this road, at least one of them had to be strong enough to challenge her. No one had even noticed her though. Soon she saw someone, someone that was different somehow, she could tell he was strong. She jumped down onto the road and stared at the traveler. It would be awkward for a travel to be suddenly met by a 14 year old girl in the middle of a road, far from any town, but what she said was sure to give the traveler a shock.

Mel: "You're going to fight me!"

Mel didn't leave any room for debate as she drew her sword.

Mel thrusted her sword dangerously close to thet old man.

Mel: "I challeneged you, so you have to fight."

Mel pulled her sword back and started to gather a little fire energy. If the old man didn't want to attack, she'd just burn his hair off.

Mel: "Inferno!"

Fire exploded from Mel's body, but she was just to slow and was hit with the quaterstaff. Mel fell to the ground, but the inferno was unleashed and would probably burn the old man and the trees around them. Mel rolled and jumped up, she watched the old man carefully, not sure exactly how to act.

Ark had just been quietly walking behind everyone.

"Just be glad he didn't end up being 24 or something, then you could be shocked!"

Ark weakly laughed, hoping it would get them past this low mood. Ark's eyes were staring at Sigmund the entire time. He'd seen his lips move at an angle, and they didn't seem to be moving like they normally did. Ark didn't want to worry about it though.
