"I'm going to scout ahead a bit, I can just follow their foot prints and it'll be easier to go by myself."

Ark looked down, found their foot prints and took off running. It wasn't long until he almost ran into them and only managed to stop about ten feet away.

"Well... I hope they didn't notice me. Two of them don't look that good though, I guess this will be our chance here if the others get here quickly. I'll stall them on the lake if they haven't gotten here yet though."

Ark ran past the group ahead of him, and ran down towards the rafts. He jumped onto the the only one not chained up and jammed his spear into it. What could he be doing?

Ark pulled the spear out and when he did it, the raft was entirely covered in crystals. He jumped away from it and started walking back up the hill with a smile on his face.

Everything you throw at me will be a miss or will help me, and really, do you want to fight me with a group present? You remember what happened to those Divas don't you?"

Ark just kept walking. They'd have quite the surprise when those crystals tried to attack them.

Ark moved so when the fissure opened he was standing on one side of it, looking back at Sky.

"This is exactly what I mean. All of your attacks require a small, tiny, bit of time to use. In that time, I can avoid the attack completely."

Ark looked past Sky though and at Lucas.

"No, in fact I have to pay him back for complicating things so much."

Ark turned his attention back towards Sky. Even if the magewarrior tried to attack in that time, the light from his hands would've given Ark the time to avoid his attack.

"If you really want to fight me..."

Ark held his spear in front of him.

"...I hope you can do it without your eyes."

Ark was warning Sky, that if he tried to cast another spell, the light would be refracted right into Sky's eyes. Even a small amount of light could be damaging if it is focused well enough.

"Now where the hell did that come from?"

Ark pushed the debris off of him and got to his hands and knees. He figured with that kind of fire power and someone to keep him busy, this wasn't the best place for him to be currently.

"Well uhh... have fun!"

Ark hopped up onto his feet and ran back towards the beach. He felt a pain in his side with every step. He had instinctively turned, but taking it face first might've been better.

"Well, at least next time I can predict that... hopefully there won't be a next time though."

My cousin has played it and he has never had that problem. It may just be you.


I used to play, got kind of far, then quit. It was my first introduction to MMORPGs though and eventually doomed me to FFXI.

Ark held his head, that last lightning bolt was just an insult to him. He didn't let it get to him though and just kept going. Ark saw the coast line and then saw what looked like the Long Long Demon's brother.

Ark stared in disbelief at the old man's attack. No because of the fact that he could do it, but the fact that an old man just jumped higher than Ark had ever jumped before. He was still in a state of disbelief when Arminas defeated the worm. Ark smiled a bit when he noticed what Arminas had done, they could take care of themselves here after all, but that lead to another question, why was he here?

"Nice job Arminas, working from the inside out, it was so suicidal it had to work!"

Ark was totally serious.

Ark turned and started walking, he was glad he didn't have to fight that beast. Going inside of it would've been a nightmare.
