Not sure, if these bugs have been mentioned.

1. The Castle Boss (You know the one with the spikes) seems to be "see-through" when jumping past the glass windows in the background. I know this bug was present in Mario Adventure too. So, prehaps if you made the sprite "solid" like Mario/Luigi then it'd look better.

2. When facing the world boss, (don't know the name but you know who I'm talking about) and you press SELECT to get your item, the leaf is blue... Should be brown, not blue. (This bug seems similar to Fireballs being green in original Mario 3 when in Mashroom House)

3. Lastly, the "fences" seem a tad hard to jump off. It's not like the ones from SMW. Perhaps some recoding to make it a little easier to jump from the fences would help.

UGH. Well, Dahrk Diaz is really good at programming.. wouldn't there be SOME way of getting around that? Perhaps a different colour outline??

Jeez, there's no need to be SO mean Smallhacker. Why isn't it possible to change the background colour or something? Maybe if he made that Castle Boss have the same characteristics of Mario/Luigi sprite in terms of NOT being see-through.

Wow GJ.

I was wondering.. Remember PITMK? Well, it was a GREAT hack.. but I have a younger brother and I'd definately not want him to find the little "XXX" secret that you put in there.. Is there a version where this is removed? Seriously, it would be nice to get a version WITHOUT the XXX secrets..

asdf.. unlocking his hack to remove that section would be disrespectful to ghottoyouth's hack. He DID lock it for a reason. My brother is 8 and he loves hacks.. I played this one before him and was suprised to find that little secret in there. I mean would it be so difficult to remove this? Come on I can't be the ONLY one who would want a version without the XXX. Please, I LOVE this hack and I NEED it. *dies*

FreeDOS+, good I'm happy it ticks you off. Are these people selling their games, no? Locking is simply done to protect their work (you know, IDEAS) from being copied and USED by other people who will take CREDIT for it. Besides, isn't there a difference between PIRATING and HACKING? One implying, selling?

Sure I have.


Sadly, the "Non-adult" verion of PIMTK does not work after World 2. The castle level is black. I don't know why this happens. Also pressing Start + Select to exit a finished level freezes the game. Darn it. *dies*

Ah, someonehas been hacking your last Demo? You didn't put in safe gaurds like Lunar Magic does?!

Would it be possible to release another DEMO.. it's just I have your last one and it's one of the best hacks I've EVER played. It just OWNZ.

Oh I was wondering, I noticed that in the original Mario 3 as well, that on the right hand side of the screen there is sometimes a small garbled bar. It seems to be a flaw in the game itself and it's in all hacks of Mario 3 including yours. If there was some way to fix it..

Oh, you might want some original ideas for overworlds.. since for example having 2 desert worlds (one for Mario and one for Luigi) may seem a tad repetitive I could make some suggestions.. How about:

- Swamp World
- Roman Ruins World
- Prairie World
- Barren World (like just middle of no where)
- Tropical World
- Sky World
- Cave World

These are just ideas, so instead of having Two Worlds for Mario & Luigi that are different but share the same theme, you could have completely different worlds!! (which would make your hack the mother of all hacks)

Very good hack. Of course those spelling mistakes are horrible. FIX em'. Also, it might be a good idea to change the bosses for the Mid-Castles. Use ASM or whatever, since it's exactly like the original and that's something that should be avoided at all costs on a hack.

AMAZING!!! Seriously this one of the best to come out in a while. I can't wait until he finishes it. I love the water, it's just so kewl looking and how in the "bonus" (coins) area, he added some kewl music. Man, this one just p'ownz all the other junk I've seen come out recently.

Ok dude. You said you still have the ROM but it's 3 weeks of work lost. That can be stressful yes.. but giving up on the entire ROM is a bad idea. You've worked for a long time on this and to just throw it all away is wrong. People have been waiting for months and months for this hack, you can't just throw it all away. There are way too many SMW hacks, and so few SMB3 ones... yours is superior to all others.. continue. Please, if you don't do it for yourself, do it for those who have waited a VERY long time for this release..

Oh I understand it's a hobby, but it's never good to start something and not finish it. Of course, losing 3 weeks of work is a huge blow and in the end it is his decision. I am just asking for you to reconsider because if you stop you are throwing a LOT MORE than 3 weeks of work into the gutter... a LOT more....

I have one suggestion, if you refuse to continue, at LEAST release a demo of all the work you have done right before those 3 weeks. I have your last demo and it truly is old and outdated.

This hack is boring and amateurish. A lot of graphics clash and the level design is mediocre at best. DarhkDaiz and BM3142 whatever really know how to make hacks.
