Go look at my first post, that's how they did it, if it's not documented you're going to have to figure out how yourself. I do seem to remember there being some patches to add some features to the game, but the only one I can think of right now is "Luigi Game" by Yy, which added the option to play as SMB2j-style Luigi in SMB1.

Maybe I'm just odd like that but I'd rather have it with NES-style graphics than SNES-style, items could always be ported from Super Metroid.

It's an SMB1 Editor and it has nothing on SMB Utility.

WindHex32 is pretty much a feature-loaded modern day version of Hexecute.
Also, read this, it should help you out. (edited by Dragonsbrethren on 03-05-06 12:06 PM) |

I've had a Gravis Gamepad Pro for years now, only cost me $10. I got this huge, heavy, $30 Logitech monstrosity as a present and it broke in a few months, I never dropped it or anything.

I had all kinds of problems with visine on my old computer, from the keyboard not responding at all to what you're describing, no clue what caused it and I have no problems on this computer.

Meh, what the hell, I already posted them at RHDN:
Castlevania Retold II Castlevania Retold SE Releases should be this month, no guarantees. |

This is good, hopefully it clears up everyone's problem.

If you're working with MM1 switch to Rock and Roll, it's better in every way.

Here's the thread.
If you don't want to use the hacked program follow Kitsune Sniper's advice:
I doubt there'll be a problem with the "fixed" version of the program but you never know. |

Arthus got it, I've been working (off and on) on CV Retold II for a long time, over a year, it's six brand new levels with graphics ripped from all three NES titles. I have quite a few bugs to fix, these might hold back the release.
CV Retold SE (Special Edition) is CV Retold 2.0 with upgraded graphics and palettes, I felt the original looked terrible alongside Retold II. It also has some bug fixes, and returns Level 5 to its original graphics (Face it, these graphics were great, better than anything I can replace them with) |

WindHex32 does just about everything Translhextion does better, plus it has better Japanese support for the translating types.

If #1 means command line and #2 means GUI, take the time to do the GUI, you'll save yourself a lot of headaches.

Which is surprising, really, it'd be nice to have a simple editor with a built-in NSF player so you could hear your changes without running it in an emulator...

YY-CHR can edit them, just make sure you set it to all file types.

Originally posted by Dan I actually dislike Temporal Flux's interface, everything seems out of the way, like when editing a map and the properties for that map, the map itself, and map tiles are in seperate windows, a single window would actually work better (for me, at least). I like your editors, Dan, everything is where it should be, not enough editors use this style. FF3usME has an interface I like, but it could use a little reorganization, some forms seem kind of cluttered. |

Probably not, that usually has nothing to do with the graphics, it's usually stored with other information about the tiles.
If you're lucky it'll be like Castlevania, where certain tiles are always solid and you can just change their graphics. (edited by Dragonsbrethren on 03-06-06 08:36 PM) |
