| Well, I made the first image to show to only Tuna, but he wasn't around so I showed it to the IRC channel. Then I thought, "I'll make it better...", and added the background.
Then Tuna came in and I showed him. Then he went to sleep. It was now 1:00 AM and I was completely tired/bored. This is why I made the last two. |

| I rarely watch G4 anymore because it is just too damn pointless. The internet and Joystiq have everything I need weeks before G4 ever gets to it. X-Play is pretty stupid these days, the repeating word thing is in almost every episode, and while it's funny, it still lingers in my mind that it sucks.
I really think they should get some new shows and such, something that isn't Star Trek or Attack of the Show-like... |

| I am in a Cisco Networking class, and I know that Ethernet is the faster, depending on the NIC. If the NIC is a 1000 mbps, then use that. Otherwise, use the 2.0, as if the NIC is 10/100 mbps, then the USB 2.0 is much faster (around 480 mbps). WiFi is never faster. Ever.
EDIT: Unless it's a 802.11n, then I'm not so sure, as I haven't learned/played around with those routers yet... (edited by Sonicandtails on 12-07-06 04:53 PM) |

FreeDOS hit the nail on the head. I was going to say, it has just been the standard for a long time now...But to add to it, USB 2.0 is not faster then 10000 mbps NICs/routers. That's why their are still ethernet cables and such packed in. My teacher added a few months ago that it is expected that in about 4 years we are supposed to have even faster Routers that are supposed to be able to go around 1,000,000 mbps or something that high. He also added that ISPs will be going to about 8 times the speed now, and will be able to stream whole movies at a high resolution...Weird to think about that, eh? | Woke up from a dream this morning, and in the dream was me browsing the board, and there was this big booming voice yelling at me. Thats not what I'm getting at though, what was in the dream was colored thread titles! Some of the stickies were pink, some peoples threads were orangey...
Why not have a choice of a few colors for thread titles? Would be a neat little addon to make the place look unique. EDIT: It could be user selected too if they wanted to view special colors or regular theme style colors. (edited by Sonicandtails on 12-15-06 07:25 AM) |
