| My room smells like burnt plastic. And there are bits of orange plastic all over the floor. And I do mean all over it.
My boyfriend has been drilling holes in a few nerf guns (for better performance, or sommat) for the last .. couple of hours. I think he's 'fixed' two, and he's working on another one. Yes, it is making them shoot better, and farther, but.. rawr. I spent over eight hours today cleaning this room. Yes, I know, that's a long time. It was really awfully messy in here though. ..Really, really messy. :< I'm just glad we have a hard wood floor, not carpeting. I'd have to vacuum for a month to get all that stuff out of a carpet. He said he'd vacuum when he's done, and I really hope he does, but I doubt he'll do it tonight. He's spread stuff all over the floor, and just.. arg. And the smell really is incredibly awful. He opened a window, but.. it's still permeating the room. And the sound of that dremmel (drill.. thingy, possibly spelled wrong..) is giving me a headache and driving me up the wall. I've asked him to do it somewhere else, and he says this is the best place to do it. And that he'll be done soon (...). I'd move, but my laptop is being finnicky. If I move, it'll switch to battery, and I'll have to shut it down within an hour. Which, since I'm working on stuff, would suck. I'm just getting really frustrated. I don't want to start some big argument about it, but just sitting here fuming isn't good either. ..Haha, fuming. .. Okay, not funny. Anyway. Sooo, I thought I'd post and grumble about it, so you guys can make inane comments about the smell of cheese being worse, or something of the like, and making me laugh, thus making me forget about being grumpy, and.. yus.  ?

I don't think it's so much a problem in the materialistic sense, it's.. someone leaving all of their things to one person, who hasn't known the person as long as their family has. And having something happen (Edit: ...I have no idea what this sentence was. I disconnected when I tried to post, and I think something poofed. o.O;; ) For example, say your father (I don't know if your parents are still together or not, but let's say for this example that they're not) met a lady and started going out with her, and then a couple of years later, he died. Let's say there are a lot of things in his possession that are important to you and the rest of your family. And then let's say that he leaves everything he owns to this lady. Including those things that would be important to you. Do you think that would bother you? And don't you think it would bother you that he chose to give everything to this other person? It might make you wonder why he chose to do that. If he didn't like you, or if this lady manipulated him into it, or.. whatever. Either way, you'd have a lot of questions, and you would probably feel pretty hurt. Not neccesarily because he didn't leave you whatever you wanted, but more because he didn't leave you anything. I know I would be pretty shocked, and pretty upset, if that happened in my family. | Edit: I'm (almost) completely scrapping my old post, because it was just silly. I resized and cropped the picture so it's not (quite) as scary (Thankies Xk. xD; ) and uh.. yeah.
.. But as I said in that earlier post, "Um.. I've been saying for a long time that I'd post a picture eventually. I was talking on the phone earlier and my boyfriend snapped a shot of me, really close up." :< And.. "I'll (eventually? xD) take s'more pictures of me. Maybe. Since I actually have a camera now, it'll be easier/more tempting. heheh. | Bigger companies often don't, especially if they deal with a lot of people (hiring, firing, etc.) on a regular basis. Smaller companies often do, so getting into the habit of 'fudging' your resume is generally a very bad idea. You never know when a potential employer actually will check your references. :< | |||

| .. I'm surprised you don't keel over at your computer then, Mistar Hellfire. :< (I know computers aren't all THAT similar, but.. yeah. :x)
I deal with insomnia a lot. Not quite as much now as I used to, but.. yeah. I only tried taking pills to sleep once; it was awful, and I'm never doing it again. I generally just lie in bed and stare at my laptop, reading things with small text that make my eyes tired. And then I lie with my eyes closed until I go from thinking about to stuff to.. not being awake anymore. If you do anything that stimulates your brain at all, it'll be harder to sleep (as I'm sure you probably know). Try just lying there and thinking about something completely random that doesn't have much to think about. Like your big toe, or something. heh. Drinking something warm before you sleep (coffee, tea, and hot chocolate obviously not withstanding, so uh.. I dunno. Apple cider? XD) is supposed to help, but I dunno. It usually doesn't help me sleep unless I'm already about to sleep. Basically, getting to sleep is slightly different for everyone. :< Good luck finding what works for you.. =/ |

I always find it weird when people are really proud that they posted a lot within a certain time frame, but most of their posts don't have much substance. >> I don't mind craziness with a spree, or whatever, but if none of their posts are longer than one line, it doesn't seem like much of an accomplishment. But that's just me. :x |

..Anyway. He got a bunch of nerf guns so we could run around outside and be silly, without making a mess, or getting hurt. heh. I like them because I bruise easily. Paintballs kinna hurt, and I end up black and blue everywhere I get hit. That, and nerf darts are reusable, and you don't have to run out and buy more all the time. It's actually a lot of fun. :3 Especially when you get a couple of your friends over. |
