| Like you said, lack of interest. Which in turn means lack of utilities and documentation. A shame, really (edited by GeckoYamori on 11-25-05 03:38 PM) |

| I did accidently run into this huge document for development during a google frenzy once. Dated 1995. Other than that, Zophar.net is my only bet | |||

| I'm all Command & Conquer, Blizzard's games do not give me enough strategical alternatives. The only effective way to win in Warcraft/Starcraft is to mass a huge army, while in RA2/Generals pretty much anything can turn the tide of the battle. | |||

| They've already simulated cloth physic in the Meqon physics engine, which was recently intergrated into Duke Nukem Forever (Yeah yeah, I know). You can download a demo to play with at http://www.meqon.com (edited by GeckoYamori on 12-31-05 09:51 PM) |

| I strongly recommend going beyond just a graphics hack and also change the level layout. With the editors available today, it's a piece of cake. | |||

| That looks pretty damn hot. Your next step could be adding some variety/depth to the stuff beneath the grass. | |||

| I hate them all because I read on the internet that EA are evil capitalists that only care about money, so I have to boycott all their games even if they are fun. | |||

| If Sega hadn't screwed up they would probably be collaborating with Microsoft today. They already had a close relationship with the Dreamcast using Windows CE.
They are making new arcade hardware based on the 360, though. (edited by GeckoYamori on 01-21-06 01:37 PM) |

| They released some software for both Nintendo and Sony hardware but it seems most of their efforts have been concentrated on Microsoft's end of the table. Xbox more or less picked up where the Dreamcast left off; PC-friendly hardware allowing for easy ports, great online support and most franchises like Shenmue, Panzer Dragoon, Toejam & Earl, House of the Dead, etc carried on using that particular hardware. | Sony manufactured the SPC chip for the SNES, and the Playstation was originally supposed to be a CD addon for the console. For some unknown reason Nintendo decided to cancel the contract to partner with Philips without even notifying Sony about it, ultimately causing the biggest turning point in the history of the industry. | |||

| Nintendo relies on cheaply manufactured hardware, as opposed to Microsoft and Sony who sell $900 hardware for a third of the price. | |||
