oh, i get it now. The style tags just designate the region as CSS interpret mode. HTML does not have that type of directives and never has had it.

i remember with my dell a few years back, i upgraded processors and I messed up the computer (exhibits same problems as you did--turns on but "nothing" happens) I gave it a week w/o power and it was fine after that. So, you could play the waiting game and see what happens in a week.

If that is not an option, you can try to reset the CMOS settings. There is usually a jumper you have to enable for 5 seconds to do the job. You need to consult your motherboard manual to see where it is. If you have a good motherboard, one of the jumpers should be labeled descriptive enough to tell you what it does.

Other things you can try is to remove your memory and see if your computer responds to that. If the proc isn't dead, the computer will respond. My processor died about 1 year ago and I removed all components off the motherboard and it didn't complain about NOT having memory. So, that is a test you can do to see if your processor is dead.

You have that game I wish I had it...those dating sims are fun but they are a genre that wouldn't last long in the US and the PSX ones are ridiculously hard to find... although, if you are talking about the SNES one, then I already have that

anyways,

I own at Pocket Fighter -- Street Fighter meets Super Puzzle Fighter. I've played all the characters although I've never been able to get the special "7th" matches when playing arcade mode.

Super Smash Bros Melee at Hyrule Temple with Link just when you think you've finally got the last blow that will knock me out, I am still alive...

Copied from the archive

subs 100% for me...i'll never watch an anime dubbed on my own free will ever again..i like the original japanese simply because (1) i'm gradually understanding it (2) the americanization process never goes anything right and lastly, (3) the dignity of the anime is preserved...

two classic cases where the the dignity of the anime was lost: Sailor Moon and Cardcaptors

My Japanese is 3rd year japanese. By the end of 3rd year, I should be able to read a Japanese newspaper (I hope). My Vietnamese is a little weaker but it is my ethnic tongue so I'm a little more fluent in that than Japanese.

wow...around 24 hours and still no drink...you're good colin, even though it was circumstances that prevented you from doing so...

he is 23? that is way past the minimum age of drinking...so, why are people making a big fuss with drinking? it is not like he just became legal...or did he

anyways, happy birthday...you are now one year closer to death

So, I've been 21 for about 5 months already and still have not had a single sip of either beer, wine, or company. So I wonder, did I miss out on something?

you must have been very bored in class to do that. The TI-83 has power of animation...just a matter of how much time you want to spend drawing with buttons

anyways, impressive job. You should start making Iggy next

Time for me to chime in.

I currently do not have a compelling reason to try it out on my own. Maybe if I'm with people I'll give it a shot. But yeah, Arwon has a good point in that drunkards and company constitute a very small minority of the drinking population. After all, if it was really, really bad--why do we have multi-million dollar corporations, bars in every city, and wine events around the country? Surely it can't be ENTIRELY bad.

As for the effect of drinking with others, who knows. I have yet to go to an occassion with people my age and party. So after that, maybe my attitude towards alcohol will change. We'll see. Alcohol isn't THE EVIL, it is the people who abuse it, make stupid decisions with it, and are immature that are responsible its the negative image. After all, if it isn't alcohol, there is another substance that will do the trick.

sounds like the motherboard has a dead wire somewhere based on those things. So, you probably have to go out and get a new motherboard/CPU combo.

Three for 1 trade... not sure what to think as a sharks fan. The departure of sturm and primeau I could deal with their departures but Stuart wasn't a person I didn't want dealt. Although, I'm not sure who is left on defense for the Sharks outside of Hannan.

We'll see whether this makes things better for both clubs or makes things worse.
