I dunno, I'd feel kinda antsy about using a teleporter.

I've read somewhere that the teleporter just simply copies you, and then teleports your data over to the other side, and then recreates you. The ORIGINAL you is deleted... and you'd just be a copy of the original. O_o

"Hello Carrie, I'm Jeff #0489." "Use the teleporter much?" "...yes."

One time, in elementary school, we had a bake sale. We were required to bring a plate of baked goods.

My friend, Adam, bought sugar cookies. I decided to try one (after buying it, of course) and it was horrible. I had to spit it into a napkin.

"What'd you put in the cookies?!"

"Salt."

"..."

He apparently accidentally used salt instead of sugar. We promptly threw the "sugar" cookies away.

I an type perfectly well without havinhg to hit the bakcspace key. See? So far I haven't had made nay typos. My english and grammar is perfectl too. Hell, I got an A+ in my english class in melentary school to highschool. ALL !+'s! Beatr that, suckers!

Ouch... without the bakcspace key it's making my post look crappy @_X

And yes, I was typing fast. I'm more prone to make mistakes that way. But I normally can type just fine.

All this talk about Trust Fund, Power Surge and Gold Rush kinda reminds me of Advance Wars for some reason... ;

But nonetheless, it will make for some interesting hacks. I would love to see some hacks with them included someday.

I've downloaded the IPS patch and applied it to a fresh Super Mario World ROM (Super Mario World (U).smc if anyone is wondering), but it's all glitchy.

I've tried to expand the ROM, but Lunar Expand says that I cannot do so.

Does anyone have any ideas of how I can correct this problem?

You have to make sure your ROM has a 0x200 header. You can add those bytes using a hex editor.


How does one do that? ;

I've never hex edited anything before

I think I did something wrong... I did download the program you suggested I use. I put the clean ROM in the same folder so the program would find it. I then went to Add Header, and it then asked me to pick the ROM. I selected the ROM, and it then asked me if I wanted to delete the Header. I said YES, and the next question about Hirom file (?) which I also said YES to (I have no idea what that does) and then I answered YES to Disable Static Ram (?!) (Once again, I have no idea what that does). It then says that the header has been added, and I then ESC'd out.

However, after applying the IPS patch to the edited ROM, nothing happens. Just a blank screen.
