Fanservice? Well yes! In some ways it's the end of an era for me, with a lot of my theories I wrote 7 years ago, well we now have answers, for pretty much everything I wrote

Debating the plot of FFVII and arguing about the possibility of a sequel helped shape my life in immesaurable ways. Without it, I arguably wouldn't be here today.

That sounds like an awesome game, mind you Terry Pratchett had the idea WAY before this, in the book "only you can Save Mankind" about a trip to Alpha Centauri which would take 2 years or something and when you got there you'd see a dot and a message which would say "Welcome! Now go home!"

Hmm, I think us Acmlmers would have won the Desert Bus prize hands down.

Have you ever wanted the style and eerily Mac-like stylings of Windows Vista but can't be bothered to give loads of dosh to Microsoft?

Well why not try This Pack

I just have, it's pretty impressive

(Yes I know it's messy, oh and the winamp file is a Gwen Stefani Mashup.. in case you think it's something else!)

and after installing (and some messing about with it) here's the
After pic

You also get some customisable transparency effects which are pretty nifty.

Anyone else tried this?

EDIT : After some more tweaking (i.e upping the resolution a bit, and changing things round) You end up with This

What can I say, I like Black

Have you updated all your extensions? If they're not compatible with your current version or are obsolete, lololol will disable them itself

Hmmm.. either genius marketing or a massive error in Ninty's PR department, It'll bomb in the UK with that name, no casual gamer worth their salt will want to play FIFA 2008 on a console that's wee. (Or Wii)

It was done in CGI and then scaled down to fit the Megadrive/Genesis. hence the low res.

Posted on 05-08-06 08:51 AM, in Diary of a Weightfreak - Elmo's journey Link
I've not updated for 2 weeks....

Starting Weight - 393 lbs
Last Fortnight's weight - 372lbs
Current weight - 370lbs
Bi- Weekly Weight Loss - 2lbs
Total Weightloss - 23lbs
Weightloss needed for 10% Goal - 17lbs

The party went REALLY well, I offset the amount of food and alcohol I ate by dancing a LOT - all the really embarrasing ones, the Cha-cha slide included. The intensity of these dances probably helped me burn all the calories off. Recently though I feel I'm slipping gently to my old ways. Work has become exceptionally stressful, and that coupled with some depression has made me stretch the rules somewhat - I even had a chocolate bar (my first for a month). That said the fact I've observed the slippage is a good thing as I'm resolving to do something about it.

I'm going to a friend's house in a couple of weeks to de-stress, although the alcohol I'll drink (I drink like a fish when I'm there, posibily cause they do) will max out my points totals, but I think I NEED to relax or I'll blow this diet big style.

Overseas Taryn?

I Wish!

I do miss my friends a LOT, I feel a bit cut off cause of work. I'm sorry for not posting as much as before.

NE ways, till next time.

Mischief managed.

ooh! Paradise by the Dashboard Light!!! LOVE that song!

Sorry, digressing there...

Anyway... how do you know? Hmm, well it's tough as most blokes find it hard to express their feelings.

I'd also hazard a guess that 80% of men don't show if they like someone unless they're reasonably sure that person likes them. I suppose the best way to find out is start flirting with them. Men don't flirt back unless they;'re interested.

2 things shocked me about American idol last week...

1. Paris was voted off

2. You have the kick arse song "BLack Horse and the Cherry Tree" in your charts. It's my fave song of last year (and KT Tunstall's version's better) .

PS3 impressions -

Gran Turismo HD looked incerdible especially the Grand canyon stagew
Singstar Ps3 is a Karaoke fan's wet dream, and is the main reason for me wanting to play online. Awesome!!

The new use for the Eyetoy? Pretty good, I imagine the Magic-The Gathering fans will wet their pants.

Loved the "Eight days" and "getaway" trailers.

Tekkenn looked pants next to VF 5

Motion sensored gamepads? Take THAT Wii!!

Bloody expensive though, £400 for the top of the range model, £350 for the cheapest.

Am I getting one though? You betcha!!!

Colin - Hmm, posibly but you have to admit it's stealing Ninty's thunder a bit, I mean the motion sensing part's not a patch on what the Wii is capable of, but it does make the ps3 seem more versatile.

That sums up the mood here then?

Ah what else to expect from a Nintendo centric mb?

Hmm I'm now less hysterical, but I still want a Ps3.... really. Nothing announced in the Wii conference will make me want one.

Not bad, the Wii looks like a lot of fun, no announcements regarding launch date and price though - You'd have thought they'd have stolen Sony's thunder with that.

So far PS3's my fave bet, but Wii's tempting.

Adamant - The killing blow from Ninty would be a definate release date and a price anouncement - but they held off, perhaps they showed mercy.

£425 = $803 (!!!) According to xe.com

My goodness!!! That's just, well stupid.

Sony, you might well have lost a customer here.

We've got coffee flavoured Pepsi here but not coke. It's ok, it tastes like someone's not cleaned their cup after having some coffee.
