Zelda OoT: I wasted many hours on that game like YD. Was it worth yet? You bet! I still haven't found all those Gold Skulltulas though. Maybe, I'll start a new game and find them all in one run later on.

I also enjoyed Super Mario 64. IMO, I think the original version is a lot better than the DS port. For one, most of the stars are a lot harder to get because you don't have Luigi's helicopter spin like in the DS version. I still have a little over 70 stars while on the DS version, I got all 150 easily.

Those are my 2 favorite games that I own out of the 4 that I have. I don't have many N64 games because I barely got an N64 in 2005.

True. But, i've never been caught. Lucky? No. Fat security men watching PBS and eating pudding? Yes. Oddly, that has happened so many times, it's hard to tell if they know and they are just messing with me .

Sooner or later, you will get caught eventually.

Besides cleaning myself, I either think about random stuff or whistle some VG music that is stuck in my head.

! 1000th reply.

Anyway, King Longspear should make better watchermelons. That way, they won't lose signal that fast when Moore eats them. Just a random thought.

Some more screenies of my YI hack:

1-4: Burt's Forsaken Fort

Cookies to anyone who can guess where I "borrowed" the name of the level from.

Anyway...

This level has a twist. You get to choose whether you want to take the easy path or the hard path. Both end up leading you to the key to the boss room. The right path is the easy one and the left one is the harder one.

This is the easy path. All the spinning spike balls or whatever you call them will only come with one.

No matter what path you take, you will have to fight Gargantua Blargg.

Near the end of the easy path, you have to avoid Gargantua Blargg while moving the platforms you are on manually.

Now for the hard path screenshots, here is where I start using the dual spinning spike balls. They appear throughout the hard path.

Gargantua Blargg is waiting for you and that's not the worst part. The room the hard path is in is a slow auto-scroll level. Also, pay attention to the weird thing in the lava (besides Gargantua Blargg).

More chaos. A couple of Bandits appear along the way.

Bonus level of 1-4. You win a prize if you destroy all the enemies in this room. There is only one enemy though.

Edited boss fight. The floor is now flat and the egg cactus plant is now hovering over the arena from a horizontal platform. You can avoid Burt by hiding through either side of the level.

Fun fact: This is the first room I had to use level expansion. Originally, you could only have 3 sprites in the level so I had to expand it to make room for one more.

Couple things I'd like to point out:

1. The Blargg looks as if it is one space too high. It's hard for me to tell, but I know it seems higher then the one I used in my hack. You can tell if it's correct when it goes into the lava - all you should be able to see are the eyebrows.
2. Might I suggest using object 43 - striped object in castles - a bit more? Mainly reaching from the ceiling to the floor? It would add a little extra flare to your levels :)

This hack is coming along very nicely. Keep it up!

Yes, that's where I got the name from. :P

1. Yeah, you were right about Gargantua Blargg being one space too high. I just checked in the original game just now. I assumed that Gargantua Blargg would work the same way as Nep-Enut did so I put the sprite on the second row from the top of the lava.
2. I'll add more of object 43 soon. I still have plenty of object data remaining. As for sprite data, I used all 240 bytes for it.

Also, Golden Yoshi suggested to mess around with the edit header and change the FG/BG of some of my levels, mainly 1-4. I just did that and I can't decide which FG looks the best. Here are the three that I choosed.

Palette 14 (1-4's original palette):

I have to agree with Stifu there, the white part on the wall to the right of the picture looks wrong. I'm going to use Palette 24 for the castle. Thanks for the feedback guys.

Some people haven't played Paper Mario before Shyguy. Hell, I didn't know General Guy was from Paper Mario when I first read the comic a long time ago because I never played that game until last year.

Nope, I've never been bitten by one before. In fact, it's been awhile since I last saw a spider up close. Can't remember how long has it been though.

The Kick Bros. miss, yet the Bandit didn't take damage.

That's new. Usually, an enemy would take less damage from a failed Bros. attack.

I agree that a no kill would be good for right now. It isn't worth the risk to kill a Mafia member when there are still plenty of innocent bystanders out there.

I don't see why we need to use ZBattle.net when two players can directly connect to each other through the Netplay feature of ZSNES.

Anyway, I would like to sign up. I'll be Koopa Troopa. I kicked ass with him back in the day.

Let's just hope we get to finish this one unlike the other tournaments.

I miss the snow I had about 3 weeks ago.

My town is having the usual mild winters like we always have been. Snow is rare in the part of Texas I live in.
