Thing with internet, when something is relesed and people actually care about it... well it's really hard to make people stop spreading it further.

I thought it's been dead for quite awhile.

And honestly, you can't expect a IRC network to work where the head IRCop is just... not there.

Posted on 03-28-06 10:46 AM, in Oh noes, my hosting provider didn't know how to configure CentOS.Let's report the project to the FBI Link
Apache even have a huge notice page about that default page, and tell users to contact whoever responsible instead of Apache corperation. So whenever their webserver provider decides to upgrade or whatever some people wind up thinking that someone hakced thier site.

People are clueless when it comes to webservers/distros.

"Unless this software is removed I will file a complaint with the FBI."

Roflrofl.

Reminds me about people suing others for saying bad things about their products over the net. Forgetting about the fact that most, if not all, western countries have free speech. ~_~

Meh, I live next to a train station. Apparently some girl was trying to take her life by just sitting down on the tracks. However other people actually contacted staff there, so nothing really happened. I kind of missed that (read it in some newspaper), even if I happen to have a full view of the station. Meh, at least that girl got some help.

But thoose people lack common sense, really. Then, the Darwin award goes to such people.

Then maybe we also go with optical computers fully in the future, which would be much more faster than the transistor computers of today.

Though that's somewhat far in the future heh.

I heard about a cartdrige version of SMB2, pirated of course.

Now, if that was a pirate hack of SMB or just SMB2 ported over to cart... I have no idea. I just don't see what would be hard to convert a disc game to cart game, considering that SMB2 works quite similar engine wise.

I think NOA thought it would flop, and just decided to make a own SMB2.

Well, there's free MMORPG's out there. I saw a new one recently which had similar art-style as RO but was fully in 3D and seemed to have a GM staff that was coherent in English.

Another sort of free game is Second life, which you have to still use a credit card, but only as a age-verification thing apparently. It's one of the few MMO's that openly allows players to trade stuff for real money. Though it's not really a game, more like a giant 3D chat thing.

I would rather see a per hour than per month thing for online games sometimes though. Or at least some system where you don't have to pay for months where you didn't play at all..
