| I find it funny how badly AI's are affected by the blooper... compared to regular players that's it. If I happen to get behind in a AI match, and someone uses blooper and hits me... I can usually make alot of progress. xD
And meh, I remember a very negative review for MK64. Written by someone who was apparently very frustated with the game. xD Complained that only people at the last places getting items... probably kept getting owned or something since part of the strategy is coping with the items.
Also, is it just me or is the game not as harsh as the previous ones when it comes to "getting hit" by stuff. I swear I recover alot faster from attacks in this game than the previous ones. |

Dial-up is not bad, it's only hellish when you download big stuff. For surfing around, it's not that bad... as long you don't go to image heavy sites. |

| And I blame the bad programming of Gunbound. It's very client to client based too, at least from the start. Acmlm was able to hack the game fine, yet it was suppodly impossible.
And yes, I was also succeful making similar hacks... before they implented that security thingy. I just used a RAM editor... |

| There's not much apple can do actually, 3rd party products... unlicensed have been done for years. Besides I don't think apple can do much for open source drivers.
I yet have to try running it in vmware myself, but I plan to do that later today. Sort of understandable why Macintosh don't want to make it run on your avergae IBM PC clone computer. One reason why Mac OS X is stable is becuse it's built to run on legacy hardware. :/ Edit: I hope someone hacks Mac OS X and makes a liveCD version of it. xD (There's alot of LiveCD distros for Linux, but it's possible with Windows too! It's not just... very legal, unless you do it yourself obviously.) (edited by Ailura on 01-11-06 08:15 PM) (edited by Ailura on 01-11-06 08:16 PM) |

I don't recall seeing any Tetris game for Gameboy Advance or anything really. That might be one reason. At least not around here. |

Well, around 1/6 of your posts was posted today.
And I assume Colins is talking about the ACS results, and not the title thread. ![]() |

| Yes, but like the most furry category the votes was kinda one-sided.
So that's why it was scrapped. ![]() |

| *checks battery*
*it's 82%* I swear I just turned it on... and it was just plugged in before I did turn it off with full battery.
Meh, I don't think it's a bad battery... more along the lines of a power consuming computer. |

| I don't think MP3 will run too well on a SNES, unless it's of a wierd quality or something. It's possible, but it would waste too much CPU on the poor SNES. Although, yes it's possible to replace music with "wavefiles" or whatever you call it. Someone did that awhile ago with SMW, although it kinda destroyed the SMW soundsystem so the only song in the whole hack was "Mario twins".
It worked excellent, as long you didn't start the game. But yeah... I forgot who made it. Keep in mind, I have no idea how MP3 compression works. But if it uses wierd mathemetical formulas, such as divide (which the SNES lacks native support for) don't expect anything too great. ![]() |

| There's even a nice article about Missingno on Wikipedia
Have there beem any other glitch, that caused so many rumours? Funny how people was saying it was impossible to get Mew for years, yet one day someone found a glitch... just two months before I got Ruby/Sapphire xD. I also posted the glitch on thoose forums... eh well. People didn't belive me back then. xD Then, with awful grammar back then... ugh. Meh, amazing how people are excited over a few glitches. Being used to glitces, and even causing themself now it's not as fun now.
There's a technical reason why it evolves to Kangashkhan, I think Kangashkhan is Pokémon number 001. And missingno is 0, or the game interpret it as 0. And when Pokémon evolves, their number just technically increases with 1. Theoritcally, you could be able to force a evolution on a fully evolved Pokémon, and it would turn into a totally diffrent one, though no point doing that really. Yes, the Pokémon aren't ordered after their ID... hell the monster systems are diffrent enough between English and Japanse that's it's impossible to trade between them without causing glitches. Could be said that it is possible to trade between Ruby and Japanse Sapphire or along the line of that now. Meh, I hadn't hacked the game myself much apart from forcing a trade between them... which is always fun to watch. |
