Just want to point out that it's too easy to see something as awesome when you're not able to obtain it. :p Also alot of graphics is obviously reused in Super Mario all stars from the SMW beta.

And they removed the circle clouds in the background, which I think is just weird looking anyway. Which is probably why they were removed. Also, those are probably from a rather early beta as they're close to being two years before SMW was released.

There might be more out there, some of those screens seems to be obviously taken by a camera.

I think the overworld looks rather boring. Looking on it, some things such as water is almost the same, while others such as grass and hills/bushes (I can't really tell) is different.

Also notice that Yoshi is non-existent. While Miyamoto wanted Mario to ride a dinosaur in SMB3 already, he wasn't able to. I guess he was added in a later version, probably around when they remade the overworld. I'm not surprised if some levels from the beta is in the final version, and therefore nothing really special, although I don't recognize any of the levels shown in the screenshot, just the graphical design.

No, we'll laugh at how crappy 1080p HDTV is
I think that's stretching that a bit. I have a old TV in my family house, and while it's 15 years old, it's still ok. Mind you that HDTV did exist around the time it was bought as well... well the technology at least.

It isn't unheard of you know.

Alot of people use flash carts or SD cards to play games on their DS, also.
Though of course, trial and error gets more painful to do and you can't really use debugging tools on the real thing as well as on a emulator.

But there's always people out there who have enough patience to hack anyway.

Heh, wouldn't the filesystem thing make it easier to hack? Since it's easier to figure out what files does what, than having everything as a giant blob.

Terranigma kinda freaked me out though. It's a such weird RPG game. And I'm not usually fond of console RPG games, unless there's something unique about them. I can't stand RPG's with alot of random battles.

Earthbound anyone? Some people love Earthbound, others don't understand what it's all about. I'm one of those who loves it due how unique it is.

Marble zone is probably the most boring song I ever heard in a Sonic game. Not that I diss the music in the Sonic games, I love the metropolis theme. <3 And the Scrap brain theme from the first game is good as well.

Remember, I hadn't played Sonic CD nor any modern Sonic games after that, expect for that robot blast fangame... but that doesn't count.

We have a flexible schedule.

It changes all the time. xD Only thing consistent for this semester is that we pretty much have 1 lab per week, starting next week.

You must say that they did a good job porting it though. Super Mario 64 DS graphics looks better the original in some aspects, such as less overly bright colours and much nicer textures. Although then the orginal SM64 was quite simple even for a N64 game that didn't use the expansion RAM thing.

Nintendo have reused level formats in the past, they did in SMAS for example. There's nothing wrong with that really, especially if the remake tries to be accurate to the original, though SM64DS is probably the remake that differs the most from the original so far.

What I do when bored. (Around 23 Megabyte!)

GIF file as I didn't have a video batch utility handy. And it's only five frames per second, but the program I made can take 30 frames per second if it's needed, and save them. I should try making a 15 frame per second one...

Only started playing around, as there were a track of "Camtasia" clones.

15 frames per second test...

Heard they mentioning on the radio when I woke up.

So why hadn't they done this earlier? Using microwaves as a weapon? The technology have been around...

I'm amused how the only text that isn't affected is the ad's on the bottom.

I'm not sure what's worst. All caps that makes you look like an idiot, or all lower caps which makes you look like a lazy web 2.0 snob.

If you eat more unclean food, your immune system can stand those kind of things better.

So people eating fast food might be able to resist e.coli better. Still, don't go start eating shit now. :/
