PS3 is hard to devolop for.

When you getfamous programmers dissing your console's architecture, then well... remember N64 was apparently hard to develop for which was one reason it didn't go too well.

Nice names for the Wii titles, I guess they were just placeholder titles and might been just been a small project that probably hadn't got past prototype stage.

Would be nice with a official cart where you can download free games on, like famicom disc system. Guess we have to use unofficial stuff for now.

...I really need to start with homebrewing.

Posted on 01-11-07 03:21 PM, in House passed minimum wage increase (to $7.25) Link
Woah, that's still low by Swedish standards. No wonder the gap between rich and poor. Though we don't really have a minimum wage laws in Sweden... we do have obligatory unions.

And no, groceries aren't really that expensive here. They calculated how many hours you needed to work for a bag of food, which took into account how much people earned and how expensive groceries are. Sweden was the country that needed the least workhours...

I'm trying something called "Stumble it".

Seems less suspicious than this so... heh. It's some tool where you can review sites with and also make it give sites at random. Far more intresting than having my friends spy on me while surfing... since I do stuff I rather keep confidental.

Woah, much more pleasant to the eyes than the original Maze zone. (which I find to be a quite annoying stage, since the bubbles in the water can be so unreliable at times...)

Nice letter they got.

But knowing YTMND, there will be fads centered around Sonic... and probably SEGA now. XD

From what I know, you can usually get away with satire since free speech is considered more important than copyrights.

Disney sued some underground artist for some adult scene with Disney characters, but the case didn't lead anywhere and Disney lost.

Mac's are much of a PC as the IBM compatible clones are.

And of course, you can't enforce how people speak. At least Google doesn't seem to mind when you use their trademarks as verbs. :p

Why? I think it's a serious question.

The difference between Standby and hibernate is that standby is a sort of low-power mode where the computer comes to a stand still, but work can be resumed by just moving around mouse/using keyboard.

Hibernate is when the computer saves it's current progress and shut itself down, it takes longer to resume from this than Standby mode, but saves more power, and the difference from plain shutting the computer down is that you can continue your progress.

Posted on 01-14-07 06:06 PM, in Let' Rant About QBasic!!!! Link
Well, scripts are usually slower than compiled machine code.

Basic is abonden even by Microsoft nowadays, Microsoft wants to move towards C# from what I seen. And QBasic hadn't been included with an OS since Win98 I believe, and even then it's hidden on it's CD.

QBasic might be decent for it's time, but it's horrible outdated. :/

I would recommend against using a proprietary language for serious programming.

C/C++/Java isn't really that hard if you have some experience with Basic. In fact the lack of brackets in Basic makes the code look more messy for me.

Sadly, I would recognized the sky even if you didn't say it was taken from SM64. XD

I wish people mixed 2D and 3D like this more often, though the building looks a little bit plain (maybe just a window or two could help), it looks like a bunker. >> Other than that, I don't have any complaints. ^^
