Eh, XK almost every big software company plans ahead for the next version. It's planned all along.

Here's a roadmap even, although it might be a bit outdated.

Eh, it's usually the case with open source projects that there's exprimental stuff in the trunk that won't appear in any offical release.

Hell, that's happens with propearity software. Ever heard of Blackcomb? It's suppsoed to have alot of features that Microsft been working on in the past ten years...

Belive me, when you have gotten used to that the tabs have invidual close buttons, you get used to it fast and it's hard to switch back (lololol 1.5 became so tricky to use on my laptop... I need to update it there xD), and yes I do use Ctrl+F4 at times but I like closing tabs without having to select them first.

Homo
Felidae

Crossing two species from two diffrent families would be tricky, really. And what would you name a hybrid? There dosen't seem any correct way. Maybe HomoFelis Silvestris Sapient?

Although will probably see human/animals hybrid in the future. Thing is that i'm kind of scared of that.

Although if they replaced a cat genes with the genes of the human eyes, hands, throat, taste (cats can't taste sweet things!) and brain then... maybe.

Yes I have one, but I rarely use it.

One of the good things with internet is that you can have a bad hair day, and none cares. I don't want to lose that comfort.

On a serious note, I voted Zelda but the new Super Smash Bros probably have a better longterm appeal.

Not too long time. There's already one for the gamecube after all. I think you pretty much only need to port it and figure how to get around any protection. Which usually don't take too much time.

Question is if there is any point to it.

Eh, I actually like the baloon thing compared to how programs do otherwise. Norton uses it's own solution on it, which is annoying.

The last point seems to say that getting the GUI done is one of the most important things. Which might be true, but then sometimes the GUI is the simplest part of the application. I can't see devolopers spending majorority of the time on getting a button placed right.

Use your real name, not online nickname.

28,497 people in USA with the name Emil, and 990 with Larsson but... keep in mind that Larson is a much more popular spelling in USA which nets me... 131,986.

Holy shit. Well, that's what happens when there's a large amount of Swedish emigrants once upon a time. Larson obviously is based off the surname Larsson. >>

There's probably more people in Sweden with the name Emil and surname Larsson than USA... but the huge amounts of Larson beats Larsson (despite Larsson probably being the orginal )

Reminds me how some old Win 3.1 applications threats the scroll wheel click as middle-button click.

Funny though, I knew about the existance about three button mices but I never saw one. I remember scroll wheel mouses getting popular with internet growing in popularity.

I LIEK THE MARIO THAME.

More seriously, Lucca's theme from Chrono trigger. I have no idea why I like it so much, probably becuse it appears at the right moments or something. And i'm generally not fond of Square RPG's...

Eh, I think thoose mouses were aimed towards FPS and strategy players. I seen them before.

(to be fair, I can't see how they would be useful outside of games)

True.

Thing is, back in the Atari days, Atari had complete domination and were close to dominating if I recall, while today we have three diffrent major consoles and two handhelds.
