I’ve noticed that, when dealing with still images minipic size, it seems like BMP is better… is there a similar rule with that, or is BMP always better for that size? It’s just that I’ve seen people say that you should never use BMP’s over the internet, but that isn’t what my experience teaches me.

…Okay… I just saved a blank bitmap and a blank PNG (what does that stand for again?) in Paint (both 11x11), and the bitmap was 450 bytes while the PNG was only 158 bytes. So then I put in one pixel of each color in the palette Paint has… and the bitmap was the same size (this was to be expected), but the PNG was actually smaller (140 bytes)!

I know that in the past I’ve observed bitmaps of that size that were smaller than PNG’s though, I kept looking back and forth at each of them because I couldn’t believe it.

I noticed that if you place a horizontal pipe right next to the beginning of a level (the left edge of the pipe being two spaces away from the edge) and go back and forth though it repeatedly, then eventually you’ll fall through the bottom of the pipe. However, this is different because it probably has something to do with Mario not touching the left edge of the exit tile on the left end of the pipe or something, while your problems appear more like the fault of a corrupted ROM.

And for the record, I never experienced any of those problems, not even the slowdown.

…I’m right. It costs 959,493 for one, and 999,999 for more than one; the game quits adding to the price once it hits the max. But than I suppose it could just say that but cost less when you try and buy it, which I didn’t, but I don’t think it works that way. And just to make sure we’re talking about the same thing, the item is “Nickname?”. The other item I mentioned turns out isn’t free, but does cost much less. In the Blue Version its name is “Ash”, and in the Red Version its name is “Gary”.
No... it's just weird programming, not beta stuff. (Though most of the glitch items are beta stuff. )
Let me rephrase the question: Why is Prof. Oak programmed as a trainer if you never battle him? It seems kinda dumb programming him as a trainer just to appear one time when you start a new game, unless it was easier or something.

What the heck? I used to put a koopa shell on top of one and it’d just stay there in the level, but now it falls though.

And if your’re wondering, that Map16 tile is 153. Never even noticed it until BMF pointed it out before.

After I woke up I felt high for a pretty long time… like, five minutes. The only time I ever really felt any pain was when my jaw got bumped, but even then not very much. I couldn’t really chew anything for a few days, but then I didn’t hardly eat anything ether…. I was spitting out blood for like, a week.
