Anyone who has played this game knows how much of a fan I am. So anyway, I just found out that this is for the SNES but it was only released in japan and I can't find the translation anywhere.
I tried Google and Zophar and am fearing the worst...there isn't a translation. Does anyone know where a translation is? |

I saw that one and have already asked the guy what the progress is.
Still waiting. I wanted it for my psp becauce snes tyl playes faster than dosbox otherwise I'd already be play'n the original. Dosbox playes only playes frame by frame. |

I have been tring to get my FF7 to play without a CD.
I got it to boot by mounting some dummy ISOs but I can't get it to play movies from the HDD. Here is what I have... [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Square Soft, Inc.\Final Fantasy VII] "DataDrive"="F:" "MoviePath"="C:\Program Files\Square Soft, Inc\Final Fantasy VII\Movies\" (edited by Bane King on 12-15-05 04:09 PM) (edited by Bane King on 12-15-05 04:10 PM) (edited by Bane King on 12-15-05 04:47 PM) |

ONLY TESTED FOR WINDOWS
Awhile ago I asked how to play Final Fantasy 7 (PC) without the CDs. Now that I know how I want to share my knowledge. I'll explain how I did it with FF7 so you will get the genreal idea. Start by Fully Installing the game. Befor you restart your PC, make a new file names "Movies", put all the movies from all 3 CD in this file. Now restart. You will need an an ISO application and an image mounter. -ISO- I recommend ISO Magic because it's free and allows you to remove stuff from the ISO so it will be 66KB instead of 700MB! -IMAGE MOUNTER- I use NERO but DAEMON's Tools is free. This is a virtual cd/dvd-rom emulator. It tricks the PC into thinking there is another CD DRIVE and will mount your 66KB image. Now with that mounted and over with, it's time to manipulate some registry files. Open Registry Editor Then open HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE --- Software === Squaresoft inc === Final Fantasy VII There are 2 things in the list you need to modify. Datadrive Moviepath Change the datadrive to whatever letter Daemon's Tool is assigned to and change the movies file directory to wherever you put them. ---END OF TUTORIAL--- Other games might need more than just movies so pay attention to what is required after full installation. This isn't rocket science. (edited by Bane King on 12-22-05 10:24 AM) |

It would be illegal to release images but that's what rules are for. The rules clerify that illegal images are forbidin. IE-roms,ISOs, ect...
One more thing I did for get to mention is that all loadtimes...are killed. (based on PC preformance) (edited by Bane King on 12-23-05 03:49 PM) |

As long as the games aren't brand spanking new you should stop spazing. |

New question...
I want to make a new room in my house but have come up to a problem. I made a new door to the left saved it and loaded it up. (thx omega) When I played it the front door was gone and when I went to the left door it did a long scroll and ended in the town inn. How do I keep the entrence and add the room w/o the f*ckup? I'm one of the thousands to state that I'm working on my own Z3 hack. I have alot of ideas but most of them on on the overworld and I suck at drawing trees. I'm just going to stick with a dungeon only hack and call it MASTER QUEST.
Edit: Can someone share a tutorial site on Zelda ASM hacking? (edited by Bane King on 01-17-06 10:10 AM) (edited by Bane King on 01-17-06 10:25 AM) (edited by Bane King on 01-17-06 10:34 AM) |

After long weeks of procrastination I have totally mapped out LTTP so now I can start my hack *sweeeet*. This post will cover all room Entrances as well as where all the level rooms are as well as SePH's guide. I also added some glitches at the very bottom to prevent glitches onto your hack. I hope this helps.
