RHA, but I never touch that option anyways. I just took a quick look at the normal mode, and it looks more bland in comparison to the other one anyways I honestly don't visit that site too much, so the scheme doesn't make that much of a difference to me Heck, every time I do take a look at it to see if there's any new news, the last update is always about that Super Mario RPG Savestate Editor
Either way, RHA, once again, just to answer the question ![]() |

True, but the article states: "The cans were recycled for 800 dollars, an estimated 70,000 cans". Unless their age made their value decrease, I don't see why he'd only get $800 as opposed to what you posted. Not to say that $800 isn't a lot of money to get simply from recycling beer cans, but it doesn't seem quite right
As for the article itself, I can't even imagine what'd be like to live in that building before it was cleaned up. How did the guy manage to move around the place? Unless he was able to wade his way through the cans (as you would through water, and given how many there are, I don't think that'd be possible), I don't see how else he'd be able to move around. That is, unless he tossed the cans in rooms he didn't make use of very often
It's rather strange how in the third picture (I was about to call it a screenshot ), the cans by the TV are stacked up neatly, and yet the rest of the floor is covered in a mess of them. Maybe the stacked ones were still full or something, but if they were, I don't see why he'd keep them in front of his TV, which is in the corner, surrounded by who knows how many other cans, when it shouldn't be that hard to find a more easily-accessible location.
The smell of that would also be unbelievable as well. I wouldn't be surprised if one of the reasons the guy turned off his heat was to minimize the smell, if it would at all make a difference. Either way, that is pretty insane. It's good to see that it got cleaned up, and I'll bet that guy's surprised at how much more space he has in his house now ![]() |

Off the top of my head, I can think of acmlm.org (although you really shouldn't need the l link ), and zophar.net. Note that there are obviously other places aside from those to get NES emulators from, but those are the first two that came to mind
I'd probably recommend either NNNesterJ, or FCEU(XD), as those are the emulators that've worked best for me, but take a look at what's available, and see what works the best for you ![]() |

| Well, here's all the videogame-related music folders in the folder on my desktop:
:: OCR00001 to OCR00500 :: OCR00501 to OCR01000 :: OCR01001 to OCR01250 :: Metroid Metal :: The Black Mages :: Cave Story :: Chrono Symphonic :: Dance Dance Revolution with Mario (it should actually be "Mario Mix" instead of "with Mario", but I haven't bothered to change it yet )
:: Gitaroo Man :: Halo 2 :: Hedgehog Heaven :: Kirby - Rise of the Star :: Kong in Concert :: Mario and Zelda - Big Band :: Project Majestic Mix - Squaredance :: Relics of the Chozo :: Super Mario World Remix :: Tales of Destiny :: Tales of Destiny 2 :: Tales of Symphonia :: The American Album :: The Dark Side of Phobos Those folders alone take up more than 9GB, at exactly 2140 files, 76 folders I've got more on my external hard drive, but they're just songs I didn't listen to that often, but that I didn't want to completely delete Most of them either came from OCRemix or Galbadia Hotel, but there still are a couple (Cave Story, DDR Mario Mix, and the Super Mario World Remix) that I just found at random, and decided to download.
I really should look into actual game format music, as it'd be a big space saver (the Music folder is one of, if not the biggest folder on this computer). So yes, I do listen to videogame music ![]() |

For me, it all really depends on whether you're talking about a fast-food place, or an actual restaurant, where you'd be seated, and a waiter would take your order, then bring you the food once it was made. There's got to be an easier way to say it than that, but I can't think of it right now
Anyways, for fast food, Taco Bell would be the first one, half because given that I work there, I get half off whatever I order (provided it's under $10), even though I can't stand the tacos. Cheesy gordita crunches are alright (the things where there's a hard taco wrapped up in flatbread with melted cheese on it), provided they don't have lettuce, but otherwise, the quesadillas are pretty good (all three types), as well as the cheesy fiesta potatoes, and nachos and cheese I'd also include the "new" chicken caesar burritos, but every time I eat one of those now, I end up feeling sick shortly afterwards. I usually make whatever I want to eat myself as well, so I know there's nothing going on them that shouldn't be. It's still strange though.
As for other fast food places, Subway, KFC, and Little Caesars. I realize the last one really isn't a fast food place, but I'm mainly referring to the $5 pizzas (in truth, $5.75, at least here) you can get there. When it comes to real restaurants, Smittys and Kelseys are the only ones that come to mind. Sadly, it's a rare day when we go to the latter, and as such, Smittys can get kind of boring after a while, although it's better than the other restaurants around here (at least in my opinion ) There are a couple places that we go to strictly for the buffet, although one of them is closed now. They were / are Oaks Inn (in Wallaceburg), and Great West Beef / Great West Steak House (in London). I was recently informed by my brother that the second one closed an unknown amount of time ago, which is sad, seeing as it used to be fun to find out we were just going to drop everything and head up there for supper. It is at least an hour away, but we didn't go there too frequently anyways. Of course, nothing can beat having supper that's cooked at home, but that's not the discussion of the thread ![]() |

I still remember someone on the most recent version of the board that had been registered for ~400 days before even making an introduction post Sure, that's only a year and a bit, but it was the longest I'd seen at that point. Sure, there's a good chance that there were people that lurked for even longer before posting, but that's the only one that comes to mind
Anyways, not to sound mean, but from my point of view, you're more of an inactive poster rather than a lurker. You could only fall into the latter category if you hadn't posted at all yet, which obviously isn't the case ![]() |

Go to http://theory.gq.nu/ips/, then right-click "smw2rpg.zip" and choose the "Save Link As..." type option. Worked fine for me, so there's no reason it shouldn't for you The .zip opens fine as well, which is about the only other download-related problem I can think of having a chance of ocurring.
This sounds pretty interesting, but I just popped in here to post the above, so I'll leave it to everyone else to give comments ![]() |

The first thing I was able to find (via a google search for "cd-i emulator"), is this. It sounds like it'd be what you're looking for, but unfortunately, unless you pay something like $30, you're limited to downloading a version which'll only allow you to play whatever game for 3 minutes or so If you ask me, that guy's simply begging for legal trouble by doing such a thing, but that's not the point.
It stands to reason that you'd be able to find somewhere to get the full version without having to pay, but the only thing I was able to find was a thread on another message board, where someone told people that if they wanted the full version of the emulator to PM him. That can be found here. Anyways, you can always give the limited version a try to see if it's what you're looking for. I don't see why it wouldn't be, but there's no way to tell right now
Barring that, I'd suggest looking around this site, to see if you can find anything that'll help That is, provided it's not the site that you found already ![]() |

I can't be the only one, who, upon reading the thread title, thought of mattress springs That, and those cheap pens (the kinds where you had to press on the end of the writing end to pop out)
I couldn't get the video to load either (the "Server not Found..." type page popped up), but after a bit of searching, I did find this FTP, which seems to have the exact same files
It is rather funny, but the repeated "No springs! Hahaha!" part near the beginning got annoying rather quickly That's not to say it wasn't interesting as well, but it was more funny seeing how different things were for the guy The door had to be the funniest, mostly seeing as when he slammed it, it sounded like he took out all the windows in the wall next to it as well _¬

Originally posted by SkreenamePretty much the same thing here, except without the Civilization-playing afterwards. I can still remember not even wanting to go to my high school graduation at first I basically planned not to go at all, including not paying the mandatory ~$20 deposit for the gown / whatever it's called, as well as telling whoever asked that we already had plans for that night, and they couldn't be changed
In the end though, I did end up going, for what reason exactly I can't remember, but I'm glad I did. I ended up getting a $300 award of sorts for grade 12 music, which really didn't make sense anyways, seeing as I was the only grade 12 student in the class See, they merged the grade 11 and 12 music classes together, as there weren't enough students in between the two to effectively give them each their own schedule. I'm not complaining though, as that money's long gone. I used it to buy a Gamecube, among other things, but now I'm getting off-topic.
It's really strange to think that my brother's going to be graduating this year, and my sister either next year, or the year after it (both from high school). Anyways, congratulations, I guess Any plans on what you're going to do now? |

| I'd definitely recommed ePSXe, as it's worked the best for me so far. However, the only games I've actually played using it were Final Fantasy 7 and some Spyro game. Both worked fine (although Final Fantasy usually had green bars along the edges of various objects in the game, but that was listed as a known issue anyways), and this computer is slightly less than top-of-the-line as well.
Here are the system requirements for ePSXe, just so you can see how your computer compares to what's recommended (taken directly from Wikipedia, so they should be right ):
Processor : P200MMX (Pentium II 450 or better recommended) RAM : 64 MB (128 MB or more is recommended) Graphics Card : 3D acceleration supported OS : Windows 9x or higher/Linux DirectX : DirectX 7a or higher, with Direct3D supported CD-ROM : 16x or faster (optional) It doesn't look like it's extremely demanding, but if you're just meeting the minimum requirements for most of the categories, I wouldn't expect anything too spectacular
Either way, as Colin already said, it really depends on your system specs, although with what you've said so far, it doesn't seem like you'd have any big problems. There's only one way to tell though. Good luck ![]() |

Well, the obvious question would be "where have you looked?" I did a search for "linux gbc emulators" with google, and the first result linked to VBA's site. Take a look at the "Downloads" section of the site and you'll see that there is indeed a version of it available for Linux. I just tried opening it on my computer (the Windows version, obviously), connected one of our XBOX 360 controllers to one of the USB ports in the back, and I can customize the keys quite easily
That'd probably be worth a look, as the only other two that showed up in the results were Gngb and KiGB. I don't know whether the former supports gamepads or not though, as the site doesn't say, so it'd be up to you to check
Otherwise, you can always check here, but I figure there's a good chance you might have already
Anyways, good luck ![]() |

At present, my desktop looks like this. Not terribly cluttered or anything, but even given that, I could easily move at least 10 folders from the right hand side of the screen and make things even less crowded Also, the taskbar covers it up in the picture, but Rainlendar (a calendar program) is up in the top-right corner, surrounded by all those folders.
Most of the time the right-hand side of the screen is clear of random stuff such as what can be seen there, but as you can see, I have Oblivion downloaded, and I've yet to sort things out into their proper folders. Especially seeing as I can't get the thing to work without Oldblivion, but that's getting off-topic
Anyways, I like it, so it's going to be interesting seeing what other people think ![]() |

For current consoles, it'd probably be better to simply take a look in my profile, as I haven't updated my list at IGN in who knows how long, and I can't at present anyways, because I can't remember my password It can be seen here for now though.
Anyways, since last time I updated the thing, here's the new games I've bought: Gamecube Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix Mario Kart: Double Dash!! Megaman X Collection DS Mario Kart DS Electroplankton Super Princess Peach Metroid Prime Hunters Brain Age: Train Your Brain in Minutes a Day Tetris DS New Super Mario Bros. Feel the Magic: XY/XX PSP Wipeout Pure Burnout Legends Daxter Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children UMD PQ: Practical Intelligence Quotient GBA Megaman Battle Network 3: Blue Metroid: Zero Mission Castlevania Double Pack Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past Tales of Phantasia Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3 Megaman Battle Network 6: Cybeast Falzar PS2 ATV Offroad Fury 3 Star Ocean: Till the End of Time Kingdom Hearts Tales of Legendia Final Fantasy X Katamari Damacy Grandia III Indigo Prophecy So needless to say, I've spend quite a bit of money between then and now There is one thing about ATV Offroad Fury 3 though. My Dad found it somewhere (I'm assuming along side of the road, because it's scratched quite a bit), and brought it home, so I set it up in the computer cabinet shelf, thinking that if I ever got around to looking at PS2 emulators, I might be able to give it a try. Skip ahead a month or so, and I was up and EB Games actually buying one I gave the game a try after I got home, and it doesn't work too well. The beginning movie / song plays for a couple seconds, then starts skipping / repeating the last couple seconds played over and over, until you shut it off. No big loss though.
I can't provide an actual picture of my game collection at present, but let me assure you that an entire drawer of my dresser is filled with Gamecube games, DS and GBA game boxes, and various other game-related stuff. I've had to start using my top bunk for storage again, seeing as there's no room left in my dresser, but that isn't turning out too well, seeing as our cats have a habit of choosing it as their place in which to spend the day
As well, I plan on going up to EB Games either tomorrow or Wednesday to get the Grega(r) version of Megaman Battle Network 6, so that'll be getting added to my profile shortly as well
As I said in the old thread, I think I've got a decent-sized collection, but there are definitely others out there that would far outweigh it. This one, posted in the old thread (not by me either) definitely comes to mind ![]() |
