Drewsephs TAS Status:

Just got bombs and have made my way back to the east exterior room.

Current In-Game time: 7 Min 16 Seconds.

What time do you usually have when getting bombs?

the door you are at leads to a grapple pit. you need grapple to pass. so the only logical thing is to look at your newly aquired map and follow the connected blue areas.

"I wish there actually were ways to get out of lava if you fall in it. The way it is now, if you fall in it, you must lose all your energyv to get out."

-There is, you just Jump onto the ledge slope that dips into the lava

"I tried rolling into the passage after freezing the jumping thing,"

-try a single diagonal bomb jump?

Excelent review! although I would love to know what you didn't like as well =)

your compliments mean alot ot me, and I put all the energy into this hack for players like you to enjoy =)

also, I fixed the 100.6% bug the other day (shhhh, it was a uber secret update!) what happend was the perminently destroyed pb blocks use a plm to never come back. the power bomb next to charge beam has a barrier, that barrier had index of 95 00, when it should have been 95 01. the block uses the item bit array and so because the final % check looks at $00-$AF I had to change it

see, that powerbomb actually counted as 2 items accidently 1 for blowing up the block, another for actually getting it. but thats been fixed.

Also I want you to know about the water in crateria.
Spoiler:
I didn't put that there because of losing everything to mb, well, I sorta did. but the mai reason is because it is storming on zebes, and as you noticed, it was night time for a very long time, all while still storming out. but when morning comes, the storm is over. but wheres all that rain water? it builds up in the lower portions of the exterior areas.

Pikaguy, stop asking a million questions please.

have you tried going right instead of left after beating the kung fu pirates? also ever think you need to tackle the guardian hunt and DE-Activate them later on in the game? that gate never opens, its locked for a reason, and if you did the door is grey (in fact in the room data theres only one door, so even if you openned the grey door you'd still hit a solid wall)

actually space jumping in air is easier, heres why.

in the original there were 2 checks, first checked samus' minimum falling speed to be ABLE to space jump... then there was a max speed, of which falling at would then STOP samus from being able to space jump, I removed the max speed so that no matter how far you fall you will be bale to space jump.

you are probably trying to jump too early, you need to fall and reach a set speed before ebing able to jump again, usually, with hi-jump, falling half your jumping height is enough to be able to jump again.

also sandfalls will stop you from ebing bale to make any vertical progress in the air.

you can't get stuck, theres always a bombable floor nearby.

Pikaguy: You like to fill everyone in on every step of your progress. I'm glad you're enjoying it, but you need to only post when you have a question, and please don't make mile long questions, try to keep it brief and simple.

Psychofox: Sweet, I'm glad you like it so far, but no i do not plan on hacking any mroe games. this was my first, and my last hack

heres the deal

Charged:

power beam - no cooldown time
Wave - medium cooldown time
Ice - medium cooldown time
spazer - long cooldown time
plasma - long cool down time

all combos have long delays

pika, it depends where you are having trouble unmorphing, if it is NOT in an obvious morphball maze then you need to send me a screenshot ASAP

however, for mazes yeah, I had kejardon create 2 new locks which disable up and down and jump. also you might want to not springball on exits, since you'll miss the demorphing tile.

Pika: stop ranting on very pointless game details as having trouble to beat a damn enemy is probably you sucking =P watch how simply I respond to Dko's plea

Dko: Ibj timming is meant to be difficult, I made the timming so it is similar to laddered bomb jumping in prime.
Spoiler:
lay a bomb, and just before it esploads lay another, at the peak of the jump wait for samus to fall around 1 full morphball height
then lay a bomb at every peak from then on, that is MOMENT you stop in the air from going up, and begin t fall, lay a bomb

it would help if you told me what morphball maze that was, since I can't magically go and fix everything =P

was it the maze over a large lava pit?

if so then you're not mean to unmorph in the open area.

100.6 was fixed, it was a bug in a powerbomb blockade before a powerbomb, counting as an item, when it shouldn't have. And that dot is no glitch, in SM when you beat crocomire there is a dot on the map where he dies.

Also, one other small thing I wondered about: why such a long recovery time after Super Missiles? Did you specifically want to get rid of the Kraid Quick-Kill glitch, or did you want to slow down the player's salvos to avoid using up the smaller supply too fast, or did you just want to make things a bit harder?

Balance, missiles are needed more, so you can shoot them faster, supers to lots mroe damage, so I increased their cool down
