LOL< well I'm glad you were able to figure it out. The map shows where they are if you explored the same screen as one, but does not say if you activated or deactivated them

So, where are the high-jump boots? and the ledge grip?

Ledge grip? wtf is ledge grip?

and i don't know what area you are describing, but its in brinstar, you've been in the room I'm sure, you just didn't see the bombable spot. hint: to the left of the respawning hoppers

^------ the answer to the first is simple. This is not the original SM, thats why you cannot combine them. and no, in M1 and M2, beams did not stack. SM was the first to feature that

The answer to the second.... you should EXPLORE to find the eneterence to the vertical shaft. but just so you know, you might want to explore new places with your hi-jump boots

undeadpyro, that area isn't even that important. but have you bothered to look to the room to the right of the speed blocks? you would have easily found your answer there.....

^------ thank you for the feedback, I appreciate all opinions. Howver I cannot change the walljump, if you have trouble walljumping to high places, then it gets much easier when you get hi jump boots. as for the layout of the entire game, I would then need to go through every room and adjust the level design again, I am not gonna do that.

As for Hells run.... thats not gonna change, kraids reward is allowing you access to norfair, and revealing the pathway to take when you get powerbombs.

and I do not make the player do more than 8 walljumps in a row. 20 would be a nightmare.

...Also, I just want to say that I am finished with this hack, it requires one more release, and that will only fix a single bug where the player can get themselves stuck

in maridia, on the way through the bottom section, after the mapstation, but before the western tube, you use space jump to get back to the north east.....

Griff, thats just confusing =)

As for speedrunning, the best Linear time is 2:11, and the fastest Sequence break time is 1:40

Impossible, since MB takes more than 3 tanks away in my hack, and to add to it, Hells Run requires 3 tanks minimum, its IMPOSSIBLE with 2

yes, play the game and explore, thats how... everyone else here explored to find the answer, the answer is nearby for the gate, and after a certain time for the other
