After 2 full years in the making, and several Restarts on the project, it has finally been completed. Click one of the download options, READ the READ ME, and apply the patch.

This ia Version 1.0 of the hack.... so...
Please PM me ANY discovered bugs (places where you get stuck perminently, crahses, garble)

no more deatils other than enjoy, and if you have any other questions then consult the read me

***NOTE*** this patch is for [JU] versions of the rom only, also ZSNES1.4x DOES NOT work with my hack because of errors in the program.... all future versions of ZSNES will work.

You're doing all this dening every rom hacking rule I know of.

This is better than anything Nintendo has pulled out. You could mix Metroid 1, 2, Super, Fusion, and Zero Mission and I'd still say this hack would be better.
You've not only of gotten rid of the "To-Do List" that the modern Metroid's have had but have so convniently hid things you'll never think to look there. You wierded out many people by having no reward for beating Karid while at the same time I found the Varia Suit by ACCIDENT.
Hell why not just out and say it. This hackhas gone far beyond the reaches of a Super Metroid hack. No. This could easily be known as Metroid Five. The only thing that could say that this isn't a Nintendo sequel is that it's to good for that.
You have out did yourself Drewseph. My compliments. This is amazing.



That has been by far the best compliment,and after the time and eenrgy i used to design the world map, I caan only sit back with the biggest smile and say THANK YOU!

just so you know, the Tube after kraid is your clue of where you need to go, but you need powerbombs, so yuo go through the grey door opened by kraid.

Exim: I will look into making varia a bit more clear, as for kraids tube, I'm planning on leaving that in bescides, you need to beat kraid to open the grey doors, so the player will beat kraid and then go for the new open doors

Cara, thanks for the defense, though 2 parts of this hack are challenging (hells run, morphball diagonal bomb jump puzzle before crocomire) the rest IS EASILY solved by the fact that if you are perminently stuck n one room, the answer is IN that room. Shows how much games nowadays hold your hand the whole time.

Cecil99, if you are tired of playing the hack, but want to see it done, Atma did a speedrun and got 2:11....

LOL @ if I used SMILE, its the ONLY level editor for Super metroid available =) so I would think so yes =P

thanks for enjoying my hack, I think the lowest possible time to get will be around 1:30 though

Did you edit Ceres like AlexAR said? If you did don't edit Ceres, it's as simple as that, even Drewseph didn't edit Ceres in SM: Redesign, that proves you shouldn't be touching that area. Having Ceres in your hack wouldn't make sense anyway, just use SMILE's "Disable Intro" option.



Wrong, Ceres is as editable as any other room in the game, I actually Expanded Ceres into a good 5 minute station, but because samus has no abilites I felt it was too boring with repetative rooms all over, just running through, so I scrapped it and reverted it back
