| I didn't know you were supposed to pull over on the right, even from the left lane, until I read this thread. I've never been pulled over, but I have seen people pull over to the left before, and I didn't think anything of it. | |||

| As far as I can tell from my own research, there isn't enough evidence to make a blanket statement such as "Birth control pills permanently lower a woman's sex drive."
The general consensus is summed up here in the wikipedia article: "The effect of the Pill on a woman’s sexuality are difficult to judge; depending on the individual and the particular formula, the Pill may enhance or disrupt a woman’s (or couple’s) sex life. Neither the woman who uses the Pill nor her partner need take any special action before or during intercourse, which makes birth control “invisible” and sex spontaneous and more natural. When combined with the Pill’s high degree of effectiveness, this may enable the couple, and especially the woman, to relax more easily during sex. Masters and Johnson, among others, reported more than one woman who experienced her first orgasm during intercourse shortly after going on the Pill. On the other hand, the Pill’s various side effects may prove disruptive on a physiological or even a psychological level. The hormonal disruption caused by the Pill may result in mood swings, lower libido, excessive or insufficient vaginal lubrication during intercourse, and possibly an injured self-image due to weight gain. Some women who use the Pill despite the teachings of their religious traditions may feel conscious or unconscious guilt; others may not fully trust an “invisible” method of birth control. This wide range of variables makes prediction of the Pill’s effect on sexuality difficult, but the fact that the Pill can and does have an impact in this area, for good or for ill, is well-documented." |

| Unfortunately, it looks as though you can only chat before or after a match up... not DURING the match, unlike with the PSP. Hopefully they'll be able to get voice chat during games working on the DS, either with this game or in the near future. | |||

| I agree with the previous two. He needs to be told. You know that what she's doing is wrong, and that isn't enough (IMO) to allow it to happen simply because you're just as much her friend as his. He's being dicked over and doesn't deserve it; it needs to stop.
It's true that he would probably rather hear it from her, but it's doubtful she'll ever tell him, considering she seems to be fine with what she's doing. Also, if he finds out (through her or on his own), he may actually be pissed at you for knowing about it and not telling him (I would be). My recommendation: Confront her about it, try to convince her to tell him. Failing that, tell him yourself. |

| I used to complain about the buses I took to school when I was in college; after reading this thread I probably will not complain anymore. $0.75 one way + one transfer, $12.00 for a month pass. | |||

| I've dropped friends for offenses far less severe than what you have described. Krissy literally tried to kill your sister. I mean, attempted murder. I suggest severing ties with her immediately. | |||

| I've worked in customer service / tech support for two years, and my workdays were quite like what you describe above, but I don't have any problem concentrating on anything. I don't think the job "trained" you into it, maybe there's something else on your mind. | |||

| "This is a real primitive point of view, but here goes:
Good. Now I can have sex with whoever I want and no matter what, she won't get pregnant! And if she's 100% clean, unprotected sex here I come! ! This is, of course, assuming I don't want kids. And I don't." I actually think this is a much more enlightened view than "I'd be devastated because I want children because... well, because that's what people do!" I'd be happy to be told that I'm sterile, because that will save me the trouble of paying for and going through a vasectomy. I'm not interested in having children - who am I to create more people when there are already so many children out there who need parents? If/when I'm interested in having a child, I'll adopt. |

| Hello. I'm Tzepish, I've been on and off on these boards. I'm actually not sure if I'm "on" right now, I suppose we'll see.
I've also been on and off with ROM hacking in general for about 9 or 10 years. I haven't done anything big, but I've done a lot of things small... mostly FF6 bug fixes, until I realized I couldn't compete with the big-time FF6 hackers like Assassin. I also wrote a Pokemon Crystal random-encounter hacking guide, which disappeared into the internet ether. I'm currently working on re-arranging the characters in FF6... making them join the party at different times. I intend to ask questions about a small hitch I've encountered (making certain characters' MP display early). I also intend to answer any simple questions I happen to spot quick enough. C ? |

I'm currently dorking around with FF6, swapping characters around and stuff. I've switched Locke and Setzer's graphics, stats, portraits, battle palettes, NPC data palettes, and event-loaded palettes already, and everything looks fine... But I can't seem to locate where their palettes are stored on the save/load screen and the "choose your party" screen:
...so the new Locke (Setzer) still has old Locke's palette and vice-versa. Anyone out there know where I can find this data? |

| Mnroger's Den had a forum that was the ultimate ownage when it came to FF6 hacking. Unfortunately, it seems to have disappeared recently, but you can still search for info using a site:www.mnrogar.com search on google and visit the cached pages. There's a lot of info on those forums that I'm not sure has been archived anywhere else.
As for palettes, they are quite the nightmare in FF6. Indeed, some palettes ARE shared by different characters (including NPCs), so if you edit a palette, expect some of your NPCs to get ugly. You can change the pointer for a character to point to a different palette, but this is an arduous process. The battle palette pointers are stored in one location and are easy to edit, but then there are NPC data pointers (most characters are NPCs before they join you - for example, before King Edgar joins your party, he is an NPC in the NPC data). Then, when a character joins your party, their palette is loaded from the event data... you'd have to search the event data and change all the load palette commands to the proper palette. Finally, sometimes the game reuses characters in an odd way. For example, during the small flashback with Edgar and Sabin (the one where you name Sabin), the "Edgar" you see there is not Edgar at all - it's Terra. The event data simply loads Edgar's graphics and palette onto Terra and uses her for the flashback, then reloads Terra's graphics and palette when it's done. |
