This is really starting to bug me. Some videos I watch are flipped vertically. I can't find anywhere to fix this. There isn't a flip option in Winamp, so I don't know why this is happening. It seems to only happen with AVI files. Anyone have any idea whats going on?

Well, its just some Family Guy episodes. They didn't use to be flipped, one day they just were all of a sudden. Could someone recommend a plugin or player that flips video?

Posted on 12-24-06 07:41 AM, in Personal Best and Worst Games of 2006 Link
I'll rise from my grave to post here.

==Best Games==

1. Guitar Hero 2
This game improved on every aspect of the original. Sure, some of the recordings are kinda bad and the bonus videos are horrible, but the gameplay is simply awesome.

2. Kingdom Hearts 2
I was one of those people that had played the original and looked around the internet every day for any kind of news having to do with a sequel. Because of that, I knew much more about the game when it came out than I should have. With that in mind, the game did not disappoint me like I thought it would. Of course, I still can't finish Jiminys Journal.

3. New Super Mario Bros.
I bought this game the day I bought my DS Lite. Even after I beat it and got everything, I still pick it up to play every so often. Great game. Still wish it would have had Yoshi.

==Worst Games==

1. Family Guy
I love the show, but this should never have been made. Every aspect of it is just god-awful.

2. Gears of War
I still can't for the life of me figure out why people like this game. I played through the game, I played it in co-op. Final review: Beautiful graphics, boring repetitive gameplay. Its just not something I would ever want to play again.

3. Mortal Kombat Armageddon
Not sure who has played this, but it just wasn't a good game. It sounds good on the surface, but then you play it, see the new fatality system, see all the little extras. If it really is the last MK game, it basically ended an already declining series.

==Other Stuff==

Halo is overrated.

I voted yes. I used to post my poetry here but never got feedback, so I just stopped posting it altogether. Although a Writing Forum may never be as active as the Modern Art Forum, at least a thread about someones poem won't get lost under a massive amount of sprite comics and lens flare.

I tried doing a speed run after seeing the 16 star run. Did it at a friends house since I haven't had a N64 in ages. Beat it in 26 minutes. Woo.

The worst part is, you sound upset about only having 2 months to save up. You should be upset that to get such a horrible system you have to pay an ungodly amount of money.

Well, read this article here. Basically, someone on Score Hero made a kick ass Guitar Hero simulator for the PC. Shortly after, Kotaku releases a story accusing the guy of working for WildTangent and ripping off the code from the real Guitar Hero. Because of the article, the guy took down the files, and told everyone he is no longer working on the project.

Just when I thought I could play some custom songs without modding my PS2.

Yeah, I know of Freetar Hero and Frets on Fire. They were both ok, but it was obvious that not much time was spent on them. To me the thing that stood out about Guitar Zero was that hammer-ons and pull-offs actually work. They don't work on the others. WIthout hammer-ons and pull-offs, there is no way you could clear a Dragonforce song.

Yeah, a lot more original than Stepmania. The reason he made it look and work so much like guitar hero is because of custom songs. There are literally hundreds of custom songs out there now, but not everyone has swap magic and a dvd burner to be able to actually play them. With this, they could.

There is the thread, and he clearly says "I do not work for WildTangent and havent for well over a year."

He doesn't deny ever working for them.

It came with 3 songs, but the 3 songs were not Guitar Hero songs. They were custom songs made of independent bands that gave the author permission to put the songs in.

Clean myself and listen to the radio real loud. Water pressure also does wonders when you're brushing your teeth.
