Aside from the horrible grammar and the badly titles thread and the horrible timing, this thread could have a point. I have thought about this too, but on the other hand, I'm sure Nintendo has too. This is how I think its going to happen. You will not be able to play hacks or put your on roms on the Wii at first. They will make it so you cant. Then eventually, some clever someone will come up with a program to convert hacked games and such in to Wii format games for the VC.

It's a matter of preference, in general. We're talking about one little character per category. It's not a big deal, you can easily look at the category and see "Hey, the category's expanded" or "Hey, the category's closed" on your own, so I don't think the symbol matters really.


Okay, pretend that you make sense. The + would be an up symbol not a down symbol, and the opposite applies to the - symbol. Your explanation only furthers my point.

And on it being a matter of preference, I agree with that. In this case, it seems the preference chosen was the wrong preference.

Yeah, I realize I am whining, and I dont expect to get it changed over or anything. I'm just trying to explain why they are wrong, and why most people would see it and think it was wrong.

The reason people say Sony copied Nintendo is because of all the copied things from the past. Rumble, analog stick, all Nintendo's ideas, then Sony took them. The Wii controller is considerably better than the PS3 controller, because all the PS3 one does is tell if you tilt it. The Wii controller practically has its own GPS inside it, and can tell where it is in a 3-Dimensional area. I always saw the Wii controller as an upgrade to the Virtual Boy, since its closer to virtual reality than a crappy camera that only works in a 2D environment.

Yeah, you never NEED this program. Even to unlock your own hack. If you locked yourself out of your own hack, you....you know what you are.

Yeah, this could stay in crap forever. Then when some new guy stops asking dumb questions. the moderator of the hidden forum could invite them in. If a newb found their way in and started posting "HA HA! I FOUND J00!!!" then they are instantly banned from that forum. The hacks would still be posted in SMW central, so the newbs could play the hacks, they just cant pretend to know what they're doing. Sounds completely realistic to me.

AOL will never disappear because of the company. AOL Time-Warner owns loads of shit everywhere. With new people being introduced to computers and internet everyday, there will always be a n00b market. All of their advertising is marketed towards people who know practically nothing. The one thing I cant think of worse than AOL is getting the AOL broadband thing. If you get that, you still pay the ridiculous 24.95 a month for AOL and its "state of the art up-to-date software," but then you have to actually pay someone else for the actual internet service.

Most of the arguments against the controllers are from people who dont know enough about it to really say anything. You dont have to jump all over the place, so you dont need a huge are to play it in. You can play it sitting down if you want. Bill Gates said it wont work because "Americans dont know how to stand still yet" which more or less doesnt matter. If you shiver because its cold, that doesnt mean you will fall down and die in the game.

You download some other hack, you download RLM. Steal their GFX and OV. Then, you go in and put "2006 Kailieann" at the bottom of the title screen. To top it all off, change marios palette to green and orange. Now you have your own hack!
