Not that I know of, mostly since most N64 games' textures are compressed.

You can extract the textures with an emulator, however. Install this plugin and enable the option in its settings.

Or just use the ROM extender that VL tone released some time ago?

He's afraid of them.
He refused to play NSMB's Banzai Bill levels also.

Yeah.
He's stated many times that he doesn't like Banzai bills at all an has a fear of them.

What a coincidence.
I just checked the GCM file, and it has some uncompressed 4bpp Graphics.

I remember humming the Grassland theme with the perfect tempo.
Then I played it at my friends house and I was like "doo-pa-dah, doo-pa desync wtf"

The original NES Version, yes.
I tried finding data, but I couldn't find a thing.
It seems to be compressed or such with a complicated doohicky. But why? o_O

Anyone else gathered up information about this?

This fairly underrated and unknown game needs to be hacked.
The levels are just Screming "Hack me, Hack me!".
As you can see in picture 2, the level is compiled from 8x8 blocks. I'm quite certain that they can be found somewhere in the ROM with Hex editor.

So far I've found the Table for the main menu.
00 = A
01 = B
02 = C
03 = D
04 = E
05 = F
06 = G
07 = H
08 = I
09 = J
0A = e
0B = K
0C = L
0D = M
0E = N
0F = O
10 = P
11 = Q
12 = R
13 = S
14 = T
15 = U
16 = V
17 = W
18 = X
19 = Y
1A = Z

1B = a
1C = b
1D = c
1E = d
1F = f
20 = g
21 = h
22 = i
23 = j
24 = k
25 = l
26 = m
27 = n
28 = o
29 = p
2A = q
2B = r
2C = s
2D = t
2E = u
2F = v
30 = w
31 = x
32 = y
33 = z
34 = "
35 = ;
36 = .
37 = '
38 = ,
39 = $
3A = +
3B = =
3C - ??? = Title image "AMAZING TATER ™" data.

This topic is the general Amazing tater hacking thread...
I see no reason not to post this, because Everyone can add to this topic. We can make of course many threads about Amazing tater hacking, if you want. But that would be stupid.

I really don't like the fact that VL-Tone's text wrangler doesn't read the Font graphics from the ROM itself.
So If I edit the Font in, say, Tile Molester, it stays like the original font in text Wrangler.
For my translation patch I had to make the letters "ö" and "ä" over "z" and "x".
So in the wrangler it looked like "etkz sinx" but in the Game itself, it was "etkö sinä".

Speaking of Emutalk Texture packs, they're ugly as a Fudgenut.
The ripper left the O-so-horrible graphics filters on.

I've seriously eaten half of my ass now.
I can't figure out how to change the paths of the Block trains located in Roy's/Larry's Castle.
Is it like, some gazillion-byte Hex adress? ASM? Jesus, please help As Soon as possible.

Thanks in advance.
