This is Opera and IE7 (well, kind of. IE7 has a larger space between them, but for the most part, it's pretty perfect.)

This is lololol.

Of course, this is with MAGICAL STANDARDS and VALID HTML/CSS.

But, you know, standards don't really mean anything.

*225825> +FreeDOS-plus> width: 100%;
*225829> +FreeDOS-plus> any thoughts?
*225841> +FreeDOS-plus> my conclusion, IE and Opera are wrong
*225850> @laptuna> since when did width:100%
*225856> @laptuna> and margin: 0 170px 0 0;
*225903> @laptuna> equate to so big it's off the fucking screen
*225922> @laptuna> last I checked, 100% - 170 != 105%
*230015> +FreeDOS-plus> who knows, KHTML did it too, and they generally have the best adherance to standards
*230042> @laptuna> so it confirms what I already knew
*230048> @laptuna> namely, standards are bullshit, long live tables

sigh

As usual, non-notability can brutally murder anything on Wikipedia. Sigh.

Oh well, at least it was there for people who wanted to look at it.

Personally I'd rather have a mix of content and post count instead of just post count (kind of like this but less biased against one huge post)...

Just removing quotes from it would be pretty hard, as well as the "content padding" problem...

I'm wit Dracoon -- I'd rather just plop down a $5 into a donation jar (which I do whenever I pass by the one in the movie theater ... now if I'd just go more often )

Well, that's it then. You've experienced the best comic the internet has to offer...

Kid Radd was genius. It knew exactly where to start, to rise, to fall, and to end, and it knew exactly how to end in a way that pulled at our heartstrings and elevated our hopes with the sinewy lift of the arms of the just and the right. Also, it was one of the few sprite comics out there with a frames per second count. Considering its subject matter, I applaud Kid Radd for being highly original and never actually using any sprites from any real games out there for anything more than a cameo. It added to the appeal!

Not to mention the obvious game parodies later on (Mofo, Final Legend, etc) and some other silly bits, as well as the fact it managed to make fun of itself often enough too..

8-Bit Theater is an interesting comic, but it progresses way, way too slowly. I read throug the entire archives one night and just kind of sat there wondering, "is that really as far as we've gotten?" It felt like a waste.

Similarly, Bob & George has also fallen down that slippery slope of "we're just doing this to keep the comic going, really" continuity. A lot of the funnier old things (like the game parodies) are gone now, mostly replaced by intricrate story lines that are pretty damn boring.

So yeah, Kid Radd forever. Or, at least, Feb2002-Sep2004. I can at least have the proud quality of having been able to read the last few comics day-by-day, and the suspense and everything worked out perfectly... though you kind of lose it when you can just read through everything at your leisure.

The difference is that in Kid Radd, you just push Ctrl-A or make an educated guess at where it is, and in an image you usually have to crawl over it orplay with colors until it becoms visible.

Ten: Happens to everyone

6 hours of sleep isn't exactly rare, at least for me It's usually my daily maximum as I can't seem to get any more sleep than that, and often get even less.

Not everyone can really have time for >6 hours, and 10 hours (like recommended) is, for all practical purposes, impossible...

As the message says, you have to wait 24 hours before you can double-post a thread (to prevent endless spam bumping).

Worst case senario, you can ask someone to make a quick post so that you can post in it again. Making another thread for his reason alone is silly.

A few other things... don't use JPG for that kind of screenshot. PNG looks better and takes up less space.

Past that, good job

Heian-794: That seems like a logical conclusion. Increasing the ease of understanding for younger people can only help a game (well, usually), so it seems like a good idea.

I wodner, though, does kenghot have a translator? Hm.. Oh, and one last thing -- is this planned for a release in other parts of the world, in English? :/ If it is, it'd b kind of pointless to translate it... (unless you wanted to remove any lovely censorship, as usual)

I'd actually go to the site to see just when it says it is, but it requires Flash, so no go.
