| I finally finished most of It now reads posts from both here and Justus, as well as the tunabot message system (tunamsg™  ), all with a much higher resolution of 0.2 seconds, for even faster reporting.
It no longer "drops" posts either, unless they happen to fall on the 300-sec restart period, in which case there's nothing I can do anyway and so on. Still...  ! |

Second, of course, is Trapster finally getting removed. People got tired of his cyberstalking and I was tired of his constant use of And, finally, tunabot 2.0 is (nearly) finished (minus some small things, like the old PM notices): 
Version 2.0:  Definitely a welcome change, especially since now it shows off both Acmlm's and Justus, as well as the message system.
Of course, the first anniversary of this board is coming up too (November 17) but I'll wait for the 6th overall anniversary of Acmlm's Board

I know one example that worked with pretty good success: the Halo 2 Multiplayer Map Pack.

$7.99 for a bunch of new maps, or buying it at retail for $19.99 or something, which came with a "Making of" (or behind the scenes, whatever) deal. Of course, the maps went free a few months later, too, so you could either buy it early and brag with your friends (and get to learn them first), or wait until they went free. Personally, I think that method was a success, as it gave both sides benefits -- the maps went free while the game was still popular and there were a bunch of multiplayer maps already in the game. That kind of thing is good. Having you pay out the ass for single cars/tracks is not.

I trust that the new reply reporting system can be turned off for certain occasions...correct? 
And what's this old PM notices thing about? Other reasons to celebrate? Hmm...I can't think of anything else. All this does seem to warrant enough to celebrate, though.
