It's ugly and I can't do direct connect and the corner notifications are buggy and also ugly. I use Trillian just because it works best out of all the ones I've tried; I still don't like it much.

Demos... aren't fun. If you release a demo of say half the game, chances are the player will not bother with the final version. When you get to a point where you could release a demo you should make a beta and send it to a few private testers instead. They can find bugs and make suggestions, at this same time publicly release screenshots of interesting things, but not too many, it'll be just as bad as releasing the demo. Build hype, but not too much hype (People shouldn't be disappointed), and finish the hack.

So many hacks come out as a demo and are never finished. It's sad.
