| Behind Allison, the first of the guests had arrived. He was a tall fellow with spikey black hair and large bat-like wings. He was wearing dark gray cargo pants and a red vest over a white t-shirt. He was a rather imposing figure, with a dark and bloody past.

| "Forgetting someone?"
The question was directed at Allison, and was coming from behind her. Infact, it was coming from a woman with blonde hair that was wearing a yellow top and blue jeans. Her most distinctive feature, however, were her large, purple-feathered wings. Beside her stood a man wearing red sneakers, yellow jeans, and a black basketball jersey with a red "0" on it over a red t-shirt. He also had on a yellow beanie which had a black stripe going nearly all the way around it near the base, except for in the front where there was a red circle. Guts: I'm sure she was only suggesting the scientific folk that live here on Neo Grape Gardens, Fem.  Besides, it's not like you're planning on helping him, anyway.
Fem: ...Still, you'd think I'd get a mention since I have more expertise in that area than Zap or Gooey... Another guy was also with these two. He had blondish-brownish hair that took something of a large dome-like shape. He was wearing a blue t-shirt, semi-faded blue jeans, and black and blue air shoes. He had a strong build, but was not overly muscley. JDavis: And I wouldn't let Washu hear you say that. Gooey may be on Fem's level, but Washu's a whole 'nother matter entirely. |

| A couple more figures had entered the celebration... and a stroller.
One was male, same height as Draco, wearing light gray cargo pants and a blue vest over a white t-shirt. He had spiky white hair and large white-feathered wings. The other, a woman, was wearing blue jeans and a pink shirt, and had blonde hair. She was pushing the stroller, in which was a blonde baby girl in a blue outfit who had small purple-feathered wings, not that you'd see them with her in the stroller as she was. Draco: Yo bro! You finally made it! That's pretty sad considering you live on the island. Jack: Hey, I'd like to see you get to a party on time with a baby. Fem: How is "mini-me" doing, by the way? Haruko: Fine, fine. I'll be happy when I don't have to change your diapers anymore, though 
Fem: Hey, just remember who let you live in her lab when you were new to the planet and had nowhere to stay.
---------- Meanwhile, hidden in the foliage... A couple of shadowy figures were spying on all the goings-on. They had some sort of devices attached to their ears so as to let them hear all the discussion, not that there was much to listen in on. ???: I still can't believe they accidentally invited us to this thing. ???: Their oversight, our gain. ???: Wait a second! One of the figures starts to remove its ear device, but stops. ???: I could swear I just heard some rustling in the top of that tree. *points to a nearby tree* ???: Eh, probably a squirrel or something. JDavis pulled an odd electronic device from his pocket. JDavis: Yo, Quint. Can you do a search on "Chaos Emeralds" and "Master Emerald"? Quint.EXE: One moment.... A Chaos Emerald is a mystic item that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog video games, allowing the holder of all seven of them to transform into a "super" form (see Super Sonic). Each emerald is composed of positive and negative charged materials which make them an everlasting source of energy and allow them to float. This energy also makes their possessors faster than normal. Sonic and Knuckles only use the positive charged part of the emerald to transform, which is demonstrated by Sonic at the end of Sonic Adventure. Knuckles has only been able to transform in Sonic & Knuckles and Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Tails was also able to attain a super form with the use of both the Chaos Emeralds and the Super Emeralds in Sonic 3 & Knuckles. The Chaos Emeralds can be anywhere, usually located in a Special Stage. Even alone, their power is unmatched by anything else in the universe; however, their power can be halted at any time by the Master Emerald. The Master Emerald contains an immeasurable amount of power which is used to keep Angel Island afloat in the sky. The emerald also possesses the ability to negate the effects of the Chaos Emerald. Meaning it can stop the energy of the chaos emeralds. However it is still yet to be seen if Super Sonic would revert back to normal sonic if the emerald is used on him. Though it is possible the negation works both ways, since Angel Island fell when Knuckles brought 6 Chaos Emeralds to the Master Emerald shrine. The Master Emerald can also be used to turn into a character's super form, but this was only shown once in Sonic 3 and Knuckles when Mecha Sonic turned into Super Mecha Sonic using the Master Emerald during Knuckles' final boss fight for the Master Emerald. Little is known about the origin of the Master Emerald except that it resided in a shrine on Angel Island for an unspecified amount of time, guarded by Knuckles the Echidna. JDavis: ... 'kay. Wait... Didn't Kirb buy Neo Grape Gardens from some guy named Knuckles? Oi! That big freaking emerald we found on Neo Grape Gardens when we were in the future! The one that keeps the island afloat! JDavis had switched off the P.E.T., and returned it to his pocket. JDavis: Certainly, I can find a few logical errors in that article myself, but let's focus on the main point here. The Chaos Emeralds and Master Emerald cancel each other out. *pulls out comunicator* Hey, Fem. Can you run a scan on that barrier surrounding Zeal? Specifically its energy signature. We need to be able to locate seven emeralds who together cancel out the barrier's energy source. Fem: ... Oookay... Got it. Sending the data now. JDavis: *hooks up his communicator to his tricorder* And... done. Thanks, Fem. *puts away communicator* Alright, now we can use my tricorder as a sort of... radar to locate these seven items of power. Draco: Sounds somehow familiar. |

This one was a LOT more work (mostly spriting, mind you) but it was worth it.

Back to the topic... It's a nice layout, nothing "ZOMG SPECTACULAR", but it looks fine, is readable, has no visible oddeties, and is overall decent. |
