Thanks.

Any specific problems? How's the transparency (for those of you can see it)? Is it readable, or should I go more opaque?

Would it be better with a border?

I chose watermelon, because besides being my favorite food, pictures of them always remind me of Summer.

As for the spots, its a variety called Moon and Stars. I've got a few seedlings I grew that I'll be planting in a few days.

The original image didn't tile, so it took a little editing, but since I know where they're at, the fake parts kind of stand out. I think I work on it a little more.

Maybe he asked, the article doesn't really say.

I'm only saying his action were more likely due to his beliefs than greed. I'm not saying whether or not his beliefs were right.

No, I think the guy in the grass skirt represented the thread.

My Grandpa is 93. He's still very healthy, I have no doubt he'll see 100. He's been a vegetarian most of his life, that may have something to do with it.

Yes, she's insane, or you're making this up. Or maybe it actually was an educational video. Was there a narrarater explaining the ins and outs of the human reproductive system?

The most educational value that can be gained from porn is maybe some anatomy and a little about reproduction, and nothing that couldn't be more adequately learned from a chart and a lecture, and beyond that porn has little basis in reality.

I'm still leaning towards he making it up, though.

Yeah, the first thing I noticed was the plus and minuses were switched.

The text of a link is suppose to tell you where it leads, not where you already are.

The trouble with these congas is that after the first few people get in line it becomes virtually impossible for anyone to else to get anything. Example (My math probably isn't quite right but close enough):

First guy: Needs ten people after him
Second guy: Needs 19 people after him
Third: Needs 27 people after him
Fourth: Needs 34 people
Fifth: Needs 40
...etc...

And the farther down the list you are the less likely people are to add themselfs after you, knowing how many more people are needed to get anything. If this was a bigger forum with alot of people with credit cards, rather than a small forum full of minors it might work, but otherwise, everyone after the first or second guy is just wasting their time.

I was watching an infomercial a while back, and it occurred to me that we oughta bring back tar and feathering.

That also made think about tar and feathering, I was wondering what the feathers are for. But then I figured it was probably just to add insult to injury. Not only are your pores clogged and you're covered with burns, but you also look like a duck.

Yeah, that wasn't thread-worthy.

Well we still need to bring it back. Back in the 1800's people used to go town to town selling bottles of useless "medicine" that could cure anything from arthritis to TB, but then they had to get out of town before people caught on and had them tar and feathered. We don't do that anymore, so now people can sell the same stuff on TV.

Track them down? They're on TV, how hard could it be to find them? I'd start by going to the address they say to mail the checks to.

I guess I lack common sense, because I've never understood this rule on forums. What difference does it make when the last reply was? If you have something to add to a topic, why not add it?

I have a job and a life, and sometimes I'll go quite a while without visting this site, and when I do, threads that weren't there last time may be halfway down the page. Why shouldn't I reply to them?

I really don't care how old a thread is, and I don't see how the age of a thread has anything to do with whether or not something can be added to it. This seem to me to be one of those rules people make and enforce just so they have rules to make and enforce.

Well there is a bit in the constitution about "cruel and unusual punishment". And I get the feeling that tar and feathering is exactly what the guy who came up with that phrase had in mind. The tar is cruel, the feathers are unusual. Stupid constitution. Oh well, I guess its vigilante justice then. Now I just have to find a tar wholesaler that doesn't ask alot of questions.

I have another non-threadworthy thought: Has anyone else seen that commercial for the Red Cross where the make the barber cut that guy's neck? If so, isn't it the most horrifying commercial you've ever seen?

Also, where's my penny?

Art's subjective. Maybe it just didn't look good to you.

For the people who say girls can get away with anything, I think you're thinking of attractive girls.

Why...that is hardly pretentious at all. When talking about art you have to be conceited and make statements about objective strains of thematic elements and technique.

Well, its a good thing I wasn't trying to be pretentious then. I'm just saying maybe it just wasn't a style he liked, that doesn't make it bad.

I don't like westerns, but that doesn't mean they're bad. It's just taste.

Yeah, I had a habit of simply not doing my work in high school. Normally, I would fail a class and then they would put me in a higher level course anyway to try for the credit again, since I did ok on the tests. But then I failed Earth Science, then Biology, so they put me in the class with the slow kids. I didn't mind. Everybody thought I was some kind of genius because I knew which numbers on the periodic table were the atomic mass and which were the atomic number. Then I really amazed them by knowing what those numbers meant.

And I actually passed that class. How could I not? Half the work was crossword puzzles.

And who puts a nail in the lost and found?
