Hehehe, I'm adding something to Mario Adventure 2... something big, sorta big...



There are three "level" tiles show here: the 6 is a normal level, it has not een played yet. The ones with a check mark have been completed, but the others (you can't see the icon very well here) has a coin icon in the corner... what could this mean? hmmm...

The way it works is that you choose to play Mario or Luigi's side. If you complete a world, you may go back to it and the levels you completed before will be saved (check boxes over the tile). Levels that you've found the hidden green coin in will have a coin icon beside them. But don't be fooled, if you complete a level and go back to get it's coin, don't think you can just press start + select to complete the level. No, if you grab the green coin, you MUST complete the stage legit, Start+Select to escape a level will be disabled. What happens when you collect all the green coins in the game? We'll see what that does later on....

If you've beaten a level, regardless of getting the coin or not, you can re-enter and exit it with Start + Select. Let's say you re-enter a level to find the hidden coin. You find it, you cannot press start + select to exit the level to "register" that you got the coin, you must complete the level by the legit means. After you complete the level with the coin in hand, you can still re-enter it, but now that green coin won't be in the stage (so you can't replay the same level and stock up on green coins) but you can still press Start + Select to exit the stage.

Actually the IS's are more than three songs, I know one of the IS has Sakura, Dynamite Rave, Witch Dcotor, B4U, Legend of Max and more in the same song.

None of the demos showed all the ideas of that time. Each demo was limited to a few levels and a few ideas. I'm not releasing absolutely anymore demos. I want this hack to wow everyone all at once. Yes, it's taking forever, but I promise when it's finally done, everyone will go "holy crap this is really good"

You cannot add more enemies to ANY level than what the level originally had. You cannot add more objects than what the level originally had (i.e. the sum of the 3 byte and 4byte objects has to equal or be less than the original sum) By adding enemies to a level, it must find space somehow, so guess how it does it? It spills over into another level's enemy space, so that other level won't work. So stop trying to add enemies, it'll never work unless you make every single level from scratch and keep track of level pointers yourself.

Just so people know I'm not dead from the simfile scene yet. I have 3 sims on the back burner, my biggest slow down being, well, graphics.

I have Robotman on Holiday by Captain Jack, Do You Know by Angel City and Everytime Time I Feel it by Armand van Helden that have either the entire steps complete or synced with a difficulty or two complete. I'm really hitting on the Dancemania tracks as of late.

And of course, all mine cater to the pad player, so you keyboard only players are getting jipped, sorry

Hah! I dunno how I did it, but I some how churned out decent enough graphics for one of my simfiles.



Light - 4
Standard - 5
Heavy - 8

The Heavy is actually very good in my opinion. I have two more ready, just have to spit out graphics for them.

No there's not. Only level and overworld palettes can be changed with Workshop. Are you wanting to edit Mario's "basic" colors or all of his power-up incarnations?

Bemanistyle's OSC 5 has begun.

I have a simfile already ready to enter if I want, it's very good imo. I'll probably make 2 or 3 and have the best of them entered. I'm not missing out on this one this time.

I've had the same bug. If you change the graphics set in the header and save it, it'll save correctly, but anytime that you go back to the header option for hilly level type, the editor sets the graphics to underground automatically.

PRG ROM-512, CHR-ROM-256, so you'll need those two maximum chips to put this on a cart.
