I like to suggest that next time the board switches or something to resotre all the member values. I thought it was quite anoying having to reregister and reset everything up.

excuse me for not wanting to go through the 42+ data tables and pick out which ones were still useful in a 1.92 system and feeling that bullshit users like you needed wiped

The only important things that should of possibly moved were:

1. Username
2. Password
3. Regdate?
4. Layout
5. State location and such.

it could of been simple to even just move 1,2,4 and anunce that people have to redo other things.

Hey all, me and a friend are making an ultimate file from scratch and I am wondering if the Zombie Dragon will cast Pandora's Box more than once, I read on the internet alot of sites that he only will cast it 1 time per game...now if this is the issue I like to know so that way we can start back tracking.

Personaly I think before moving to other sections you might want to complete others. I saw a couple of editors not listed. Also I think it is time you move on and update everything to date.

I reported to the old romhacking.net years ago about most of them and never got a reply. Also I don't get much time in the comunity now days busy with many other things, it is even hard to finish up my projects.

You are totally missing the point of the site. We're moving away from the rely on the staff and instead rely on the community. And I must say for somebody who would come here and point out that editors are missing, yet NOT report them to the site or even here so we can FIX the problem, you are not a model community member.

It's up the commmunity to submit news about new releases as well as let us know if an entry is wrong or outdated. It's ridiculous to expect a few staff members to keep THOUSANDS of total database entries on the site always up to date. What do you think we do, sit on the computer and visit hundreds of web pages everyday looking for updates? No.. people have to REPORT the news to us.

Maybe the site isn't for people with your mentality of thinking. So, why don't you report what's missing or not up to date and we'll fix it and you'll have nothing to complain about?

As far as I know there was a Megaman X Editor in development, but it was never officially released. I don't even have a copy cause I think I knew who was working on it...

1st off releasing Source with a project is the developers choice. I chose not to since all my code has Copyright on it, but if people do ask about something I do usually help and such. I don't think I ever released a Source of a EXE of mine and probably never will. But it is the creators choice, it should not have to be fore uppon us.

DogSoft.net is soon going to host peoples romhacking pages. It is a matter of time before I get the FTP stuff and such setup. I am really behind schedule, but if you want drop me a PM or a Email and I can let you know more.

I am still around, just rarely float around now days.

I will mention that there is alot of things you can do with Metroid. Hopefully I will finish Metroid M2 someday, right now it is about 50% complete and has been WIP for over 2 years. There is still many things I would love to do with the Metorid engine, but my romhacking is getting exausted as I write new editors. At 1 time I was working on a MIEP (Metroid Item Editor Pro) but I decided to hold off and try to mess with SnowBro's code to implement it. The plans are to be able to change any item to any item such as an elevator, missle, energy tank, ect. You can actually do it right now but it requires Hex editing.

If you guys have any questions about Metroid just PM me or even contact me on AIM sometime.

IMO graphics are not really nessesary in the menus and such, but if you build the GUI correctly it should not be much of a filesize diference. My current editors are around 100k. If you are going to go with a GUI you might want to learn how to render the gfx of course from the rom, much cleaner and looks better.

Ok, so I'm rusty on SQL
QBRADQ

You don't need a WHERE if you're deleting everything.

Simpler to use the

DELETE TABLE threads;

Why use the Generic Grey, it should be set to the system default so in XP and such it changes. That is what I use.

Also I forgot to mention...editors IMO is not how they look but how toey proccess...people want editors with everything implemented.

Is there a Metal Gear Solid fan here, who is good at hexadecimal and want to take care of the actual hack, while I take care of the grafics? Or at least take a look at it and teach me how to change the walkable tiles specifically for this game? It's ok if not, too. Thanks in advance.

I don't have the time, but I think there was a Metal Gear editor being built about a year ago...
