I'd have to further recommend Chrono Trigger, or even Chrono Cross. Both are A+ games that weren't too complicated, confusing, and they were weren't too long (maybe a very long RPG would scare someone off? Both were only about 20-30 hours for me).

I really can't say much more than what Hiryuu already said. To me, some RPG's have aged and just aren't as fun anymore. But the Chrono games I could easily pickup again and have a blast with. Very unique games, incredible settings, phenomenal soundtracks, and they're just simple and fun.

I'd say Super Mario RPG [SNES] would be a good start too. It is in fact, the RPG that got me hooked on the genre.

SO, I guess I should inform you guys about the current situation.

Talked to her finally on Friday (didn't have much of a chance on Wednesday). It was inevitable that I'd see her though, since she goes in the same math room I leave after my class. So, she's usually sitting on the bench waiting to go on.

I just boldy went up to her and said "Is your name ...?", and she replied "Yeah! What was your name again?" ... "Steven" ... "OH YEAH!" (all caps needed there because she seemed excited, I hope!

)

So, I sat down next to her and we talked for a few minutes. I kind of lost my cool after that, and even choked up once or twice (so embarassing), but she was extremely friendly and brought up some stuff to talk about. She's either very friendly, or was pretty excited to see me. I could tell, it totally seemed like she had recognized me in the hallways a few times too probably, but just didn't say anything. When she went to class she said it was great seeing me again.

So, the bad news. Its just a few minutes between classes that we have a chance to talk. So, either tommorow, Wednesday or something, I'm going to try and ask if she has a break sometime, so we could maybe get together to chat, catch up, and stuff.

I'd say, I rolled a ~D17 here Koi. No kissing or hugs were invovled, but she seemed very cheerful and happy to see me. I'm sure this won't just be a "Hi, how are you" kind of thing in the hallways.

I'd like to make something of this.

Anyways, there you go. Lesson learned. If you recognize someone, don't miss out on the opportunity to get to know them again. And remember, I'm extremely shy myself ... so its not impossible.

edit: ohlol, yeah. It was her, the girl I was really good friends with back in the day. Guess I rolled a 20 on my sight.

Blackboard bought out WebCT by the way. Didn't really effect anything I guess, it still sucks.

I used Blackboard in High School, and WebCT last Semester at my College, both sucked.

Definitely sad the websites don't work very well in anything besides IE6.

Mostly because they're fu ll of crappy javascript hacks.

What really annoys me is the "YOU ARE NOT USING A SUPPORTED BROWSER BLAH BLAH WHINE" on every fucking page if you're not using IE.

Then almost every teacher will say: "Turn off all your pop-up blockers, and bla bla bla so it can work!"

You'd think a school-based thing like this would work right and be pretty stable, but ... hah, yeah right.

I'd have to agree. I saw a bootleg of it at a friends recently. I was expecting it to be pretty terrible, but compared to something like AeonFlux, this wasn't bad at all.

Also, it had Kevin Nash in it. Which was awesome.

The girl who played Kasumi was butt ugly though.

All in all, it was enjoyable. Not something I'd recommend anyone, but not something I'd call complete crap.

Well, the world surely has a great sense of humor.

She has a boyfriend. Although, I was somewhat disappointed when she mentioned that, at the same time I didn't really care. Now I just wonder, how is their relationship?

I guess I'll just focus on a friendship here ... for now. Maybe I'll be more awesome than the other guy.

Or maybe I can sit around, do nothing with life for another 6 years and see if I might meet another girl.

Ziff: Yeah, gotta agree with most of what you said. Surprisingly, the production did seem very nice. And that fight with Helena and Christie was definitely a great example of that.

Weatherby honestly was a fun character too, I know I've seen that guy in other stuff too ...

Its a weird subject, when you get older it just becomes more and more okay.

I'm 19, I'm not sure about a 16 year old ... but, going on 17 would probably be fine.

That situation would be fine, in my opinion.
