Alright, now here's a dumber question ... is there a way I can find out my routers IP?

Yeah, I've looked around, and tried all of the defualt ones but none of them worked.

Anya: Just be sure you have an HD-TV. Text is next to impossible to read on normal TV's for Dead Rising, and there's no way to change it or fix it. I really don't like not being able to read "everything" and because of that I haven't touched that game in months.

Not sure if this has been answered anywhere yet, but how often do they plan to release VC games?

I think MS releases a new XBLA game every Wednesday, but Nintendo's got a huge library under their belt. So I wouldn't be surprised if they were released faster. That or maybe they'll release games in bulk?

Yeah, I've tried that and a few other IP's similar (default ones). It always times out.

So ... yeah.

When you buy a Linksys, the first thing you have to do is configure the router through a direct connection to it. Along with the router, you should of gotten a CD and an instruction manual that says to use the CD for first-time installation. :p Just hook up your laptop through Ethernet and run the CD. You'll go through a wizard that is pretty easy to understand. Once you've got everything working, you won't need that CD again, even if you hard reset the router. Just remember to keep your wireless connection off while directly connected to the router for setup.

So I've run the configuration on my family computer (days ago), the one directly connected to the router and modem. Should I connect my laptop to the router and then run setup on it or something?

I dunno, we might just have some guy come up here and set this all up for us.

Spoilers ahead, from my post.

I kinda like it - it keeps things from taking too long, but it's not THAT short anyway. the snowhead level, I mean, I loved how you are presented the entire dungeon at the start and you work out how to actually go through it. Also, the last few dungeons are longer, excluding the finale ones - I mean six is kinda short but you do a lot, but seven? Holy crap seven is huge. And also, the best dungeon ever. The item in it reeks of badass.

And Plus, the bonus content in this game is freaking awesome. I was raiding a bunch of places I hadn't frequented and found a minidungeon that was longer than Zant's palace. Haha wow.

I take it more stuff is opened up towards the end of the game? Its felt like I've already done a ton of exploring, but I don't know.

I can definitely agree that the later dungeons don't take much to get into. I did the 4th one last night, and the 5th and 6th casually today (didn't play ALL day or anything like that). Getting to them didn't take much.

Anyone get the biggest wallet yet? I still just have the 600 one, but since I could'lve donated more than 1000 for Malo's Shop, I'm guessing you get a wallet that can hold a 1000 or more. But seriously, is it me or are you almost ALWAYS maxed out with rupees in this? There's got to be 1000+ rupee chests in this game at least.

My only complaint so far, is that the game just doesn't seem as tough as other Zelda's. Maybe OoT was just harder because I was younger when I first played it, but I don't know. Dungeons have been pretty straight forward, the things I get stuck at I usually later say "Wow, that was obvious". And the bosses are pretty pathetic. Still though, I've loved the dungeons, and the bosses even if they're easy are pretty fun, the 4th boss especially.

Can't wait for Level 7, as Alastor already hyped me up for it over AIM yesterday. I'm hoping for something as awesome as Majora Mask's 4th Reversible Dungeon. That dungeon was crazy.

An oddity is that I was able to connect to my router through my laptop (I just so happened to have one of those moments where I had a successful connection to someone else for a few minutes), but right when I got done trying to edit things the connection was lost.

Tried same IP and everything on our computer WITH the connection, but it won't work.

Too stressful. We'll probably just have some guy come up and set things up for us.

So, all I've played at my home has been Zelda, Zelda, and Zelda.

Tonight I finally tried out Wii Sports with friends and it was definitely a blast. Bowling and Tennis seemed to be the most fun. Golf was alright. The others I didn't see much of. We also played the Rayman game, it was decent. But I'd only buy it if I expected a lot of parties or something. There was also DBZ, and we quickly learned that that game is impossible to play with the Wii controllers.

I'm just hoping Nintendo will be releasing rechargable batteries (or are there some out there already?). 30 hours into Zelda, and I already had to change them out.

I don't really like coffee that much at all, but I can drink it with milk / cream and sugars. Chocolate Milk / Coffee (whatever the heck that'd be called) is pretty good.

"Star-Stealing Girl" from Chrono Cross has a very saddening effect on me. Though, it may be because of what it evokes, i.e. the death of Lucca in the fire and the loneliness the young Kid will have to confront being twice orphaned.

In fact, much of Chrono Cross' music is sad and depressing, hence I don't like to listen to it all the time.

Hmm, even though I think Chrono Cross's OST is one of the best in games, I'd have to agree with you here. Every song screams out emotion, there's a lot of epic stuff, moving, and saddening emotions in those songs in that game I'd say.

Other than that I guess I haven't really listened to a lot of music thats put me on the verge of tears. I usually listen to Metal, and well that gives me more of a glorious feeling than anything else (I stick to the traditional stuff and European stuff), but I've heard a lot of emotional stuff from some videogames. For some reason, Breath of Fire IV comes to my mind, and some of the Suikoden games.

Hah, not bad.

I thought their reenactment of "Bad camera angles" was awesome though (kind of old, a short real life Resident Evil skit).

But yeah, I don't watch G4 anymore. No reason too.

I'm guessing that you probably have a WRT54G, as they're pretty cheap and can be bought from almost anywhere. The latest revisions don't even have a Linux OS anymore, meaning that you'll have to flash the OS in order to install DD-WRT (which happens to be the only working third party firmware for the latest WRT54G revision, as they come with very little memory). Screw it up, and you'll have to use a JTAG interface to fix it. :p

WRT54GS, if it makes a huge difference.

And wow, I definitely should've mentioned the version in my first post.

Insomnia?

I probably have a slight case of it, it really sucks at times ...

For me its usually midnight to 4:00 AM if I've got nothing going on the next day. And I usually wake up from 10:00 AM to noon. If I have work or school the next day then I try to get to bed by midnight at the latest.
