| I'm having some huge issues with this Dr. Watson error reporting thing for WinXP. Basically there's a few random folders every so often, that when I go into them Windows Explorer will freeze up and crash. Then explorer.exe restarts and a few others things as if I just restarted my computer. This is really bugging me because there's a few folders I can't even touch.
- About Dr. Watson - Help forums post, another one, and another one. Simply googling drwtsn32.exe will bring up interesting results, hopefully for those who can maybe help. I don't think simple scans of any kind will be fixing this, as I've tried Spybot, Ad-Aware, AVG, and all that stuff. Has anyone else had this happen? Or could help? |

| Lately I've been seeing some huge numbers ... right now I'm looking at 130,000.
That seems a bit overdone, and yeah. Just wondering what's the normal for you guys who use lololol? I also switched to 2.0 recently, but I noticed this was happening while I used previous versions. I've only noticed this the last two weeks or so though. |

Good to know this is normal though. I was afraid my computer caught something bad or whatever. Its probably just my constant torrents that are making my net a little slower lately, obviously. So I really need to get this POS computer next to my laptop hooked up to the net so it can be my all purpose downloader computer!  |

| Yeah, after seeing numerous PS3's in stores today (playable), I can't say I'm all that impressed really. Especially when my friends and I were at Best Buy and the PS3 was displayed right next to the 360. With the past demonstrations by Sony and whatnot I was in the belief for most of the time here, that the PS3 would be a little step beyond other systems, but I'm taking that back now.
Oh, and the system is pretty big if you ask me, and the shape is ... downright weird. Wonder how you get a grip on it. |

I think its a matter of who's played it, back in the day. Most people I know who played it growing up (myself included) love Zelda II to death, but those who never did ... can't seem to go back and say its fun.

... Wait, no. Those people just suck. Zelda II is amazing no matter what. Different, sure. But its a top of the line A++ NES title in my book.

At first I couldn't figure out what to do with that damn cat, I figured I'd need to catch a fish ... but it took me awhile to figure out how with the rod. Once I got passed that though, I couldn't stop playing. The controls are great too, and I think I'd rather play this with the Wii remote than the GC controller. My only 'slight' disappointment so far is that the music doesn't seem mind blowing like I was hoping. Its not bad or anything, but just decent.

I really need money, so I'll be working quite a bit this upcomming break (time and a half on Wednesday though).

Other than that, same old same old for me I guess. I'll be having like 3-4 meals with my 200 some family members from all over (my dads side at least, lets just say his grandma had like 5 children, all at an age to be my grandparents with kids of their own now, chain reaction of divorces left and right, etc). Then there's my dads step parents, my mom's parents, etc.

And yeah, I can see the Ico / SoTC art connection. Then again you could say Ico / SoTC was kind of Zelda-ish at first, since I'd still say this game reminds me a lot of OoT and MM also. I can see how people are saying the graphics aren't totally up to par with games thesedays and it probably didn't push the Wii's limits at all, but if only people remembered that this game was basically 90% developed for the GC in the first place ... But yeah, again I'm loving this game so far. The boomerang is fun. Plot seems a bit odd though, almost like a remixed Link to the Past ...

So, who got a Wii? Who's loving it? I still think VC games seem a bit pricey, but then again I own just about everything available to download right now. I think once I start seeing more rare games or games I don't have I'll change my mind. I didn't pre-order anything. I just camped out at Best Buy around 7:00 AM with a few friends, 2 hours before they opened (I guess they open an hour early on launch days). What's sad is, at around 8:40 or so some guy came walking up to our line (there were about 80 people, 73 got a Wii), holding a Wii in his hands. "Okay, who has cash and doesn't want to wait in line?" Looking around I just saw people disgusted, annoyed, and some that thought it was hilarious. He basically got flamed by a few people, and people laughed at him because we just had a mere 20 minutes to wait before we got our own. He stood around kind of dumbfouned for awhile but then the GM of the Best Buy came out and basically told him to take a hike. I just hope he didn't buy a Wii to just try and sell, because now that its out all over ... then again, he had it coming.  | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
