That one band nobody ever heard of! Also, I agree with Ziff about the Black Album. I even shouldn't say this, Fact is, like others said they were / are very successful, but nowhere near the best. PS: Megadeth: The System Has Failed destroys all of Metallica's thrashless albums. Random PS: I'm listening to The Very Best of Dio right now. Its fucking great. PS to the third power: I'd go to say Judas Priest are true long lived metal gods. Angel of Retribution was pretty awesome. | This has, and probaby will never happen to me since I'm 130some lbs, 5'7 or so. Yeah.
But honestly, I think that was just rude for them to do that. I never look at people like that. Maybe if you're really decked out with tons of unsual clothing or whatever, I might give a "huh?" face. But on more than dozens of occations, I've met some incredibly nice people that some others did see as intimidating. Elementary school, my best friend was the scary kid who was put in the office reguarly, had a rat tail, and an ear peicing (somewhat unsual at that age I guess). People thought he was scary, yet I was the geek with the Ninja Turtles obsession and did nothing but played videogames, we were best friends. Sophomore year at high school I met some guy, who was probably at least like 6'4 or so, huge build, often wore those huge black jeans that connected to each other with chains, and he was by far one of the nicest guys I met in gym. Looks can more than likely show a persons personality, but never put a full guess or judgement on that I'd say. Egh. I don't know if any of that made sense, but oh well. (kind of late, long day ...) |

I'm going to College this fall and I have absolutely no idea what I want to do with my life.

Is this bad? I took two years of Game Design at my High School though, using Maya. We did stuff from modeling rooms, barrels and shading, texturing, created castles (insde and out), created characters and boned them (yes, made the skelaton and everything so they could be animated, its a process known as boning), created guns and swords and put them into Photoshop making our own little "gaming manuals" of sorts, then had a final project which mine was just some huge environment. And just a ton of other stuff we made here and there that I can't really remember exactly. I learned quite a bit in two years, thanks to having a teacher who had worked in gaming companies before, so he really knew what he was talking about. I remember my Junior year my first character I made was so horrible, it looked like something that wouldn't even make the cut for Doug (I just thought it looked like something in Doug, Doug Funny anyone?). Then my senior year, we used pictures taken of ourselves for the textures, and the character I made actually looked like something that would be see in say, Half-Life 2. I remember my teacher saying he's going to have a site up with all of our past works on it, so I can use it as a portfolio I guess, and I've been wanting to show all of you guys for quite sometime. But honestly, in the two years of doing something at school that I thought I grew up wanting to do, I'm just not sure if Design is for me. I mean I love videogames, and will play them until my hands decay, but I'm not sure if that's what I want to do with my life. What do I want to do? I have no idea. But I'm not starting off big and going straight to a University, I'm just heading to JCCC for this upcomming year and maybe the next. If I find something else that I like, I'll probably head of to The University of Kansas (KU), but if I discover that I still want to go into Game Design I plan to go with a handful of my friends to the University of Advancing Technology in Arizona. But, in short. I'm clueless. And on a side note I wish some of my family would just lay off my ass and stop pushing me to enroll, take tests, asking me questions and everything about where I'm going, what I plan to do, etc. Its very annoying. Edit: Sorry, that was kind of off topic and didn't even answer your question. But, since I don't even know what I'm doing for my life, I doupt I have any tips or whatever for you also. Sorry ... - Slept in till about 1:00.

- Figured my night was ruined hearing some of my friends had to work, and thought some were still out of town. - Friends came back, we got together tonight and just hung out. We went to Wal-Mart and randomly walked around the store for a good hour or so. We were in the toy department and there was this old bitchy employee there. Some little kids were running around and I heard her say "No running in this place!" We went down a few isles, I took a floaty noodle and started beating my friend with it, then she popped out of nowhere and said "If you're going to hit people with that put it away". I giggled and put it back, and just couldn't keep a straight face because of how stupid she was. We went down a few more isles, into the bikes section. My friend took up a hulla hoop and started messing around with and attempted using it. She again, came out of nowhere and told him "Put that away you're not allowed to touch those" ... then my friend said back to her "Well I was thinking about buying it", myself and a few others walked away laughing out loud hysterically at that. Then we said screw that department, and went to check out magazines and other random stuff. Also it took us about 30 minutes to walk there, we walked by apartments and we were all being really loud. One of my friends made a loud screaming sound and then out of nowhere we heard some guy say "Whoa man that was loud". It was kind of funny, we didn't see him or anything. And when we got back to my friends house we all stood around oustide his driveway talking, then a cop pulled up and asked if we had fireworks. We just said no ... then he drove off, we really didn't have anything, but that was kind of funny. So this night was an adventure at Wal-Mart. I just think its funny there's going to be 3 different games based off of Final Fantasy XIII coming out around the same time of each other. |

Anyways, I checked wiki and the games are: Final Fantasy XIII Final Fantasy Agito XIII (mobile phone game !!! ...) Final Fantasy Versus XIII (what a great title! ...) I just think its a little silly.

I think FFVII is a great game, cool setting, music, gameplay, etc. But it has by far the dumbest characters in all of the FF's if you ask me. (emptiest, goofiest, etc)

My friends and I always joke around about the game, because its just ... fun to make fun of. Our conversations always end when someone asks: "Cloud, Who is he?"

Yeah. I just hope they're don't have some of those "bugs" like the FFIV port. Random lag (especially in battles), and the screen scrolling really bugged my eyes at times. I don't remember it being like that on the PSX or SNES.
