Originally posted by Abnormal FreakOriginally posted by Xeogred Well, like I said, I honestly don't really like Death Metal. The only reason why I like CoB is because they're kind of their own deal, really different from regular Death Metal. I've got a friend who lent me a handful of Death Metal CD's, and I honestly didn't really care for them. DarkSlaya: I actually don't have anything of Gamma Ray on my computer.
I really need to get my friend to burn me some CD's. I know you'd like them though. They sound a LOT like earlier Iron Maiden, but probably a little heavier. They're more metal than epic (like Edguy). If I ever can get an album, I'll upload some songs. I've just heard a lot of their stuff through friends, and I can say they're very good. |

| I don't have a pick right now (can't really think of that bad of an RPG, besides Legend of Dragoon which isn't anything horrible, just not good).
RPG's that have let me down though: - Breath of Fire III - Being a gigantic fan of BoFIV, I really had high hopes for this game. I've seen tons of people claim it's superior to BoFIV, but I just can't seem to find out why. Maybe it's just because I've only played about 12 hours of the game? But maybe not? It just seemed a little boring, frustrating at times, a little childish, and so forth. It just didn't really grab my attention as IV did (which is quite possibly one of my top favorite RPG's). - Legend of Mana - Nothing horrible, but nothing fantastic. Wherever you place your stories on the map, it doesn't make too much of a difference, and only being able to control the main character in battles got a little tedious. Overall, I just don't think LoM comes even close to the greatness that SoM and SD3 had. |

| I mean, you can actually understand him, almost all of the time, and he doesn't scream from the beginning of the songs to the end.
Maybe it's just the handful of Death Metal CD's that my friend let me borrow that are like that, but I just don't like the darker tone, the constant non-stop yelling, and so on. But hey, to each his own. I'm sure many people laugh at the cheesy instruments and lyrics used in some Power Metal, and cringe at the high pitched vocals (Blind Guardian anyone?) and so on. So, yeah. But I'm interested, what are they showing these times? Don't know if I'd stick through an entire episode now though, I've gotten to the point where I just literally can't stand dubs. ![]() |

Originally posted by Clockworkz ![]() I own the first DVD of Trigun, given to me by a friend, with one of the worst DVD case I've ever seen, since coffee was spilt on it. And, I also own the entire boxset of Rahxehpon, which I got for $56. It's still sealed though, and ... I've had it for months. Just haven't found the time to watch it.
Of course I've already seen it, but it's just probably my favorite series, so I wanted to own it and rewatch it, but yeah. ![]() |

| So, who's excited about Thanksgiving Break? Mines next week.
Me? I have school Monday, and Tuesday, and that's it. BUT, then I'll be pulling a 12 hour shift off on Wednesday (7 to 7, open to close) for work. Supposedly, my Manager insists we'll be doing 120 some cars that day (all employee's are going to be working crazy hours next week), and Friday. Which yeah, I'm so lucky I'll be working 7 to 6 Friday. Oh, then 7 to 6 Saturday. Oh, don't forget Sunday's 9 to 5. So, I'll get to work Open to Close, Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun. I'll be shocked if I DON'T hit overtime (over 40 hours in a week). I don't want Thanksgiving. Oh yeah, and the cold weather won't help a bit either. (NOTE: I work at Jiffy Lube. Lube and Oil changing place) |

| This happened to me once when I was like 6 years old.
There was like this black chunky rock thing in my chicken nugget. I almost puked. To this day, even though I like chicken nuggets, I get that fear that I could possibly get a black chunky surprise in a nugget. |

| Pretty much all the bands I like also.
You should check out Angra. I just recently got into them, and I haven't been disappointed at all. Angels Cry is a decent album, but their Rebirth album is a masterpeice, from Track 1 to the final track. They seem a little prog-influenced at time, how their music flows, but I'd still label them as Power Metal since they do get a little faster and heavier at times. Look at them, as a cross between Queensryche and Sonata Artica / Stratovarius. There's a lot of parts in their songs where my mind just seems to scream "Queensryche!"
(which is a good thing, as Queensryche's old stuff freaking rocks the house). And just to get this out, I'd have to say that Rhapsody is by far the ultimate combination of Metal and Orchestra / Symphony. (edited by Xeogred on 11-19-05 08:49 PM) |

I've told myself, from here on out as an 18 year old gaming addict, if I EVER see a nice / cool looking girl in a game store, I'm going to talk and get to know her.
But yeah, I think it's kind of sexy seeing female employee's at game stores, especially when they know their stuff. The girls that don't, and try to pronounce the games you buy and fail horribly, make me laugh (true story. Some girl named off the games my friend and I bought, and she failed horribly at pronouncing them correctly, which was kind of funny for me at least. "Vectar-men" heh ... )(edited by Xeogred on 11-19-05 08:54 PM) |

This guy's pretty hot.
...
From early this summer. My hair is much shorter now, and I've bulked up slightly and seem to feel a LITTLE taller than I did ... Edit: As I said last time, yes, that is the greatest shirt known to man. (edited by Xeogred on 11-19-05 08:57 PM) |

| I think the 360 looks amazing, but I'm not biased. Fact is I KNOW I will eventually get all the systems that come out, as I'm an owner of a Gamecube, Xbox, and PS2, and Dreamcast (lawl), and enjoy all of them.
The 360 looks exciting because of Xbox Live, and such titles such as Perfect Dark Zero (which I think came out yesterday, I pre-ordered a copy), Gears of War, and so on. I'm also interested in the 360 this time around because it seems like MS is getting a lot more support, getting new developers, and such. Mystwalkers (run by the creator of the Final Fantasy series), seems to be producing some very promising games. I still think it seems a little early for the next gen, and I didn't seem all that impressed with the Kameo and Call of Duty 2 demo's (there's plenty of 360's out there in stores now), but that's not going to prevent me from being interested and buying this. But, I'll probably have to wait a month or so to get one, they're getting sold out everywhere. |

| I think this has been brought up before in the past, but how would I go about doing this? Making seperate banners appear in different forums. I tried messing around with colors.php, and layout.php, but didn't seem to be very successful.
Also, since I'm using 1.A3, would there be a way I could get some parts of code to make a "NEW" image appear next to the DT link at the top when there's a new post in it? And, where can I find the blockquote function / etc, so I could possibly attempt to do what Xk has done to the quote tag here, at my board. So, in short maybe someone can help me out here: - Different banners appear for different forums. - Making a NEW image appear for things. - Altering and making the quote function / crap one nice tag. |

So, if anyone is ever interested, just give me an email at xeogaming@gmail.com, and I'll gladly upload and add them to my AB downloads database. |

And to get the facts straight about the UserComments, those UC's date back to TEK Hacks from like early 04', and I'm more than positive Tuvai "helped" a bit with it. From there it's been altered and changed all over the place. |

Anyways, even though I doupt this'll be successful like last time ... if anyone knows of any kind of band out there, that is very similar to Dragonforce in style and everything, please let me know. It just seems like DF is their own kind of thing. Their own style of awesomeness. |
