There is no VB7. You got a release versino 7 of the runtime pack for version 6 of VB. You can overwrite it as many times as you like.

I heard there are some fine organizing tools around for translating purposes. At least you could use Excel tables for a start, just to keep it organized in a manner everybody is likely able to read out.
TRADOS being one of them. Others are open source like OmegaT Just a thought cYa, Tauwasser |

The original Code was in Bits and he arranged it so after 8 byte he had a line break so the Bits supposed to be for 1 px were on top of each other.

You can find the palette pointer around all the other pointers to the title screen data. The palettes are compressed in the same format as everything else, lz77 - the bios function of the gba.

HexWorkshop can do the trick, too
It has a simple compare mode and a resyncronizing. It comes with a fee and timelimit, too, tho. Link: http://bpsoft.com cYa, Tauwasser |

Well. If it's only about hacks, then there is IPSelect. You can select exactly what IPS-change you want to have extracted and so on. That way you can analyze what was changed where and test gameplay with only a part of the IPS actually applied.
I think I even downloaded it from acmlm's domain here, but not sure. Just a random note tho: HexWorkshop is a really great hex editor. If you pay for it, you should be using the trial version of course before you buy it. But it's really neat and stuff :) cYa, Tauwasser |

You did an awesome job going thru every palette and finding out what was changed Well done
Now it would be interesting to find the scripts that load the palettes for each Map so you can expand the data table and add your own colors, so Toad can be red without the grass being red Sweet work, dude cYa, Tauwasser |

Why don't you use VBA-H? That's VBA for hackers and as i recall it has many additional functions...

Well there is actually some cool stuff going on there. I wrote a little doc on it some mere weeks ago... - in German of course. URL Anybody feel like translating it, cuz I don't in the nearer future Anyhows, there is also some interlacing going on and the actualy picture is sorted again and magnified for Backpics and so on. Also it comes with a neat 0x31 Tile limitation and crap... so yeah... Be merry you guys...
cYa, Tauwasser P.S.: If anybody really does care I will try to translate it myself in the upcoming week... Or train some monkey to do it anyways ;P |

The Rom has several fonts. Just look around, the changes will probably be in Pokédex or somewhere
