I know for sure that I exist. It can never be truly proven whether any of you exist with me or not. Am I merely the point of view of some great being's dream, and you all wisps of imagination passing through my story? Could it be that you are all truly just empty shells of thought, with no true substance, only here to provide more material for my pointless plotline of dream? Is all that is and ever was merely the background for my false story? Perhaps, when I lie down my own head to rest, my own dreams are truly the chaotic reality of the being who dreams me. All I know could be a figment of their imagination, and I am the only one lucky enough to truly experience it.

Well, fuck, now I can see time.

It's normal to be abnormal. Honestly, people who are perceived as "normal" are rather freakish in comparison to the average hectic, unpredictable lives.

Years ago, I watched some dumb scifi movie where the world was gonna blow up and whatnot right before bed.

That night, I dreamed that, lo and behold, the world was going to explode, oh no. However, the...mayor of somewhere...happened to have some sort of escape pod that apparently had just enough room for him, my sister, my mom, and I. Some argument was implied, but I don't remember if it ever actually happened in the dream; possibly about the fact that, in fact, we wouldn't all be able to fit. Then, it turned out that it didn't work anyway, or we were too late to use it before Doom came.

And as the impending destruction of life came, we all looked up at the bleak, brown sky, seeing the wave of radiation or something coming for us. I closed my eyes, and actually felt the wave vibrate through me, intensely. I waited a little while, wondering what had happened, and if that was what dying was like; if so, it wasn't so bad. I opened my eyes, curious as to the result of this strange feeling.
I was in my dang room.

Yeah, the dream wasn't as weird as the almost seamless transition into wakefulness.

Dayumn, Are they coming out with all that crap? That's scary. We've just got stuff like barbeque, cheez (specifically spelled that way), sour cream and onion, etc. Of course, I haven't been looking too hard in the Pringles Aisle anyway, so maybe there's a whole Pringles conspiracy behind my back.

Geez, those colored ketchups always scared me. And those colored french fries, too. Just plain weird, what kids these days eat.

Hmm. It's not bad, but you need to work on "Show, don't tell." It's the most important thing to learn to do in writing, and if you can find a way to do that, it'll be fine. I also reccommend varrying your sentence structure; there's far too many sentences that start with "I." But that's not too hard change.

Hopefully it'll work out. Keep on writin'.

I can't even read this. It's too painful. I'm sorry, Luigi, but... ow.

There are plenty of issues with this, but the thing that's really and truly bothering me: Almost everything ends in an exclamation point. Shift + 1 =/= exciting, surprising event. I can't even focus on the story past that.

Not trying to be a bitch. Just another writer letting you know.
