Hi, I'm a newbie here, can anyone spare some gold?
Bad joke.. anyhow.. I'm poor with introductions so I'll just butt in on some topics in an attempt to cultivate familiarity. |

I'm at the part of the Parallel Tower where the info block says to "Find the Sacred Meadow," and I know I've seen a reply somewhere about the sequence, but now I can't find it. I always found the meadow (in OoT) by following the music with no regard for the directions on the minimap.
So if anyone can give me the directions, I'd be most appreciative. Edit: Nevermind. Got it (edited by BounderTower on 01-26-07 03:16 PM) |

Well, nobody's mentioned Paladin's Quest yet. It's hardly comparable to other RPGs mentioned already, but it made a good impression on me.
And yes, Earthbound FTW. |

Dimmu Borgir? Do you shower in blood? I sometimes exercise to that, but since I like to relax and unwind while letting my mind wander in the shower, I lean toward Sigur Ros for showering. I always spend more time than I should, but not as much if wanking were involved. The water just kinda messes that up. My passion is facial exfoliants. Ridding my pores of tiny infidels just makes me feel better inside.

Yeah, it's definitely Pastel-adin's Quest, but you cast spells with HP, hire mercenaries as party members, and can control combat with only your left hand. Still, it's second-rate to others mentioned already. But the somewhat-artsy style of things was appealing even if the majority of colors were best suited for baby-clothing.
I just acquired Live a Live last night, and so far it's damn good. I've only started the Cowboy quest, but it's already made me wish I had less time to spend reading for class. Thanks to anyone who's suggested that! |

You know you should never activate the Conjunction Junction without a doctor's diagnosis on your functions.

Smash Bros is the only game for which I have actually pledged allegiance.. not just to myself, but to anyone who considers my mental state to be important. That game was FTW in every way, and I could not live with myself, as a gamer, without it. Yes, I was certainly being excessive in such a decision, but at the same time, it was serious.
Edit: Paper Mario was sweet, but nothing compared to SMRPG on snes. And Goldeneye had that annoying slow-to-turn factor that kept SOME from ace-ing the harder difficulties. (edited by BounderTower on 01-29-07 10:15 PM) |

ohhhh, please don't speak of the board shutting down... even though i've been here less than a month, for me, it's been a long-sought haven for posters-who-don't-have-their-heads-shoved-firmly-up-their-asses. unlike, you know.. gamefaqs (where i've also posted). Anyway, i wish everyone a great new year, and a great year in general.

Unless i'm horribly mistaken, EB owns GS. Either way, my local GS has enough conscientious employees that one can go to such a shop without any stress. Unless of course, you're looking to get a Wii immediately. No success there

All I'll say to this is that I've known cutters, and there's always been a deeper reason than just that which you've stated. I mean, when somebody has that problem and admits to a relative stranger that they know it isn't right, but it makes them feel better anyway... What do you really think? That said person is of a sound mental state?
This being said, I wholly agree with Blacklord+. I'd never allow a cheater of any sort back into my life. (edited by BounderTower on 01-29-07 10:21 PM) |

I could have translated most of that, if my Germanic professor would have TAKEN HIS BLOODY TIME WITH THE UNIT.... errgh. Anyway.. I still long to visit that area of the planet.

The trouble with using (I assume illegal) drugs as a feel-good trigger is that one develops a tolerance, and then it just goes downhill from there. Eventually one must suffer through quitting and withdrawal before the mind and/or body goes to waste.
Reminds me... I made a few drunk posts last night, but it was also my last night of drinking for the next 3 years, and I didn't expect to be near a computer at the time |

Gaah.. based on the thread title, I decided people would be more afraid of Hilary than Barak, so I voted Hilary. Then I saw the poll title and realized I voted wrong.

Thousands of porn-seekers are curious as to why their googles for XXX are coming up with a romhacking forum. in my mind anyway.

Just from my past experience (me 18, her 16) I have to say that the High School Divide previously mentioned can have a huge and sudden impact on a relationship. Not just at the time, but when the younger person crosses over into College age they can, and probably will, have a complete 180 degree change of heart. No matter how "sure" things seem. So my advice is that if you find yourself in that situation, do not expect a lasting relationship. |
