Woohoo, I get named. I feel special. Of course if someone tells you that you're stupid and don't know what you're doing, are you going to let them get away with it?
It seems like the classy thing to do is to just inform them that they're wrong and not dignify them with further statements.

Besides, the wise man is not angered by such petty antics.

The idea of "existence" is a social construct, therefore, you are not alone in existence. However, as I've already said, people who exist such as you must suffer and are constrained by reality.

I'm planning on taking the AP Physics C exams in May, and I was wondering if there was anyone who knows what's a good practice book for such an exam. I'm using the Resnick and Halliday Physics I & II textbook. I'm doing this solo, so I don't have an in-class knowledge of the test format of this certain exam.

Is there any other way to get the multiple choice practice tests anywhere else? And I was not aware of a future, non-existent thread on AP tests, sorry.

Let me put it this way. If one wanted to explain to someone who didn't know the word "art" what art was, how would one go about doing so?

How do you feel about people using the phrase "internet speak," and the people who propagate such a phrase by their lack of proper English usage?

But that doesn't really answer the question, really. If you point to everything, and call it art, what does that tell about art?

It's not like all art has to be automatically respected.

I never said it did; but saying everything is art doesn't define art very precisely.

No luck for you, since luck is always against you on multiple-choice questions. Might I ask which AP Physics test(s) you're taking?

Also, if you have any extra time/cash laying around, try your hand at the AP Psychology test, it's insanely easy.

What are the chances that you're just insanely smart? I'm not smart like you.
On the other hand, the AP Macroeconomics test is easy to get a 5 in. The AP Calculus test should be easy to get a 5 in too. The AP English Literature test is easy as well, although it's a bit tricky to get a 5. The AP Japanese test is going to suck though.

That doesn't sound easy at all. I can't remember vocabulary. I have nearly *zero* memory. But I guess I'll try it. What's the worst that could happen, except losing $100?
Two other really easy AP tests are the Statistics and U.S. Government tests. I've already taken both at college, or I'd take them.
On another note, although I disapprove of the entire College Board system, I don't really like taking extra classes and paying extra money either.

"Fountain" by DuChamp, for instance

Indeed, since if art cannot be even vaguely described or defined, anything and everything can be considered art. It becomes like the words "good" and "bad" to consider something; surely, is it wrong to question what is something? Arwon seems to think so. (Personally, I'd reached a end somewhat like Tommathy's for a definition before I even posted this thread.)
I don't expect the perfect, universal definition of art, but at the same time, I expect a bit more than "in the eye of the beholder."

When I have my lucid dreams, there literally is *NO* difference between reality and my dreams other than the fact that it was created by me. It's so lucid that I long to have these dreams each night, wanting to take part in this "second life". Everything feels like material in my hands as it does in reality. It's like I have a second consciousness.

I need to seriously tap into this and have complete control over it. I've taped myself to make sure I don't sleepwalk too...

Is there anywhere nearby Phoenix AZ to go and have this studied?

Feynman says he learned to do it when he was a young adult and details on it in Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman!, but then again, he was also a genius. Personally, I think it's something that's possible, if not difficult. Then again, most things are possible, if not unlikely.
