You think you're worth a lot less than you actually are, but the fact that you're able to write, think critically, enroll in AP classes, and still have time to tell everyone about how you can do that AND you still feel worthless suggests that you're not as crap as you seem. Maybe when you meet someone truly worthless you'll gain a better perception of just how much you actually mean.

And stop asking questions that don't have an answer in cryptic language -- that can be taken as BSing around in the OC, which is, as I'm sure you know, not within the rules. You can just as easily say "Well, I know the conditions, not the disease, so what's the cure?" and get a ton of feedback relating to your life, the condition it's in, and your prospects for the future. Like Tarale said, the OC is a place where you come to talk about what's directly bothering you, not ask a line of questions that are hard to answer and not entirely related to your problem.

Someone who reads this thread all the way through will suddenly start noticing your language take an unexpected left turn about two-thirds of the way through, which is where this philosophical stuff started. The best solution to your woes is to act on them, not sit around and talk about them.

As for teaching in first-language Spanish. Bilingual education is probably the best bet in environments where there's a bilingual environment outside the classroom. I guess the main point is, they shouldn't not teach in Spanish just on misguided nativist principle. I don't know enough about educational and linguistic theory to know whether kids aged 5-10 can comfortably juggle two languages, but I suspect they're good enough that it isn't a zero-sum English OR Spanish game.

At EB Games a while ago I saw a PS3 demo hooked up to a hi-definition TV showing its capabilities. One demonstration was a comparison of a Blu-ray movie versus a DVD. I shit you not they were identical. I also liked the bit on Cell, which showed blue lights (electrical pulses I suppose) flying around a circuit board. My ambitions are great but I'll be damned if I let anyone crush them. Your dreams are yours alone. Nobody can take them away from you. What is best in life? To achieve those dreams. Never become discouraged. That is the number one weakness. You begin to think "What if?" too often. Your future is in your hands. Live your life as it happens. I sometimes think this way too, but I find that being around those I love makes me feel carefree and hopeful. Honestly though, nobody can tell you how to live.

I get upset in other ways over other things, like being lied to or stole from, or being taken advantage of in one way or another, but these things don't annoy me, they just make me mad.

And unlike apparently just everyone here, I'm not annoyed by stupid people. I actually find them to be a great source of entertainment.
