asdf:

you are about to enter an extremely frustrating dungeon.

if you beat it, PLEASE dear god help me with this part:

SPOILERS:
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
(sorry, i dont know how to hide spoilers =/ im new)
i have gotten two keys: the key at the very beginning from the sand monster, and the key from the torch in the long verticle room, which you need to ram to knock the key down. I have looked everywhere, and there is an L shaped room which still has a locked door in it. the boss is dead. i have found the BIG CHEST, but i do not have the key for it. it seems i am missing a small key somewhere in the dungeon and i have literally searched every corner. dont bother not getting the item in the big chest, i have already tried exploring the entire overworld without it. whatever it is, you need it. and this is pissing me off.

To those that complain about needing to use save states should consider that maybe you're just bad at video games and the use of save states is a choice that you made because you're spoiled by easy (and free) games.

i CANNOT believe you just said that. have you ever considered the possibility that we dont want to waste time with the death screen and starting at the beginning of the dungeon, having to fight bosses to get through their rooms again? thats why i use save states. also, i find it funny that you can call us bad at video games, considering the fact that the average gamer will NOT be able to defeat 3 sand worms with beefed up health and at the same time being shot at by a machine gun (it shoots 3-4 times a second, for me anyways)

save states ARE a necessity, in this hack.

also, let me add that Super Metroid: Redesign was a GREAT hack. it involved challenge, not luck and pure insanity. This game is just frustrating. Why should i have to roam through the second dungeon of the game for literally hours searching for a small key? i DO appreciate all of the hard work that was put into this hack, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

actually it does, a little (once you can block them)

but theres no excuse for being gunned down like that in the second dungeon. also at the beggining of the game, the shooters were pretty rediculous as well. when the screen scrolls away from them, and toward them again, they shoot again. which caused me to get shot at VERY, VERY fast. luckily, i managed to make it that far without save states. but now that i realized the whole game will be like this, i will use them. no point in playing a game if it just causes frustration.

jigglysaint:

the arrows on the ground in the quarry are NOT meant for the lost woods.

let me say this again, if anyone has completed din's catacombs, please help me out. im stuck. im angry.

jiggly, when you beat din's catacombs, please make a mental note of where you found each small key (there is only 3) because i am missing one somewhere...maybe i already got the key from the tentacle enemy, im just not sure. but im really getting annoyed...

edit: nevermind! i got the key. thanks asdf, i dont know what happened but the monster wasnt dropping it before. the left one dropped nothing and the right one dropped a blue rupee. i highly doubt i didnt see it the first 5 times

freaky.

I am stuck on Rudo's Cavern. theres a

..
..
...
Spoiler:
small cliff that i should be able to hookshot over by clinging on to a pot, but there seems to be some kind of invisible wall blocking me from doing that. in the room to my right there is Kholdstare, who i cant even touch because i dont have the fire rod. the doors locked and forced me to just commit suicide. anyway, i think this is a glitch. and if it is i'm done because it took HELLA long to get this far.

"superscope"? Is that where pressing the x button is supposed to show something? I don't recall getting even just a "scope", much less a super one.

superscope is an snes9x tool that lets you use turbo on any button. if you use turbo wtih the A button, you can float over holes. unfortunately it didnt help, i think i need the cane of somaria.

anyway, to Euclid:

Spoiler:
I have mapped the entire dungeon of Darunia's cavern, ON PAPER, and i CAN NOT FIND THE GOD DAMN SMALL KEY. honestly, what the hell man. i have been to every room i can possibly go, and i dont think you would put bombable walls in this place. can you please just tell me where this damn key is, i have the cane, i have the boss key, i have the big chest key. i think i have done enough work.....

as for you, netscape, try to look on the bright side. yeah it might be hard but dont let this girl get you into a deep depression...you will regret it and it will develope into passionate hate for her. as well as yourself.

i have the same problem, though not as severe. i am 5'11 and weigh 160 pounds through HARD training and extremely careful diet balancing. i have 6% body fat. it just takes some work. and if you were as strong as you say you are, well, muscle weighs more than fat. otherwise i would be around 130.
