Uhoh. Someone hecked the board again. Smallhacker already depicted this once. I shuddered for a solid minute.
Taking me enough to keep steady right now...a.sdfg.a. |

Kinda figured it'd be a matter of time before Guitar Hero got ripped off.
Stepmania did it nicely for DDR/ITG. |

Well, at one of the two jobs I -can- but only when I get a chance to and I'm not doing much of anything.
On certain days and where they are, this is a common thing. However, I can't even get on AIM. :\ |

Finally got the scores put up in a text file and added some comments. This will give you an idea of what I've been up to for the past four months. EE's probably got me beat, but even still... DDR Recall sheet (updated through ITG2 single, so far) >>>>> ITG2 Scoresheet Last updated on August 7, 2006 * - Current Machine Record SINGLE ===== ! (Bang) ----- General comments: Kickass song. I like the beat to it. MEDIUM - 6 * 92.22% S 2x, Overhead, metal HARD - 9 * 71.77% B- 2x, Overhead, metal Comments: Incredibly tough step patterns for a 9. Half of it is trouble for being so fast and the other half is trouble for being partially offbeat. Agent Blatant ----- HARD - 7 * 81.16% A- 2x, Overhead, metal Amore ----- General comments: #1 song for the machine. Song’s not that great, though. HARD - 8 81.21% A- 2x, Overhead, metal Baby Don't You Want Me ----- HARD - 7 * 89.67% S- 2x, Overhead, metal Bloodrush ----- General comments: Kickass song. Guy that I talk to that fixes the machine said it reminds him of the Blade soundtrack. This song, in general, kinda reminds me of Sync with the way it’s presented. MEDIUM - 8 89.97% S- 2x, Overhead, metal Bumble Bee ----- General comments: The extended version of the DDR song. Not bad. Not bad at all. HARD - 7 * 93.58% S 2x, Overhead, metal Comments: Close to the original. EXPERT - 9 * 77.57% B+ 2x, Overhead, metal Comments: Retarded EX steps, IMO. Clockwork Genesis ----- General comments: I like this song; I like a lot of songs by Inspector K. What I hate are the steps. The steps on this are nowhere NEAR a 7. MEDIUM - 7 * 78.26% B+ 1.5x, Overhead, metal Cryosleep ----- General comments: Simply put, a must-play. This song is another reason why Machinae Supremacy rock for their electric guitar-based sims. MEDIUM - 5 * 93.25% S 2x, Overhead, metal HARD - 8 * 93.29% S 2.5x, Overhead, metal Comments: Fun, easy 8. Good spin/turn pieces in the step pattern. EXPERT - 10 * 76.61% B+ 2.5x, Overhead, metal Comments: Not a bad EX, per se, but the very end is so, so, so very chaotic it’s hardly funny. D-Code ----- General comments: Not a bad-sounding song, honestly. The steps aren’t all that hard unless you do this song modless. HARD - 8 * 81.14% A- 3x, Overhead, metal EXPERT - 10 * 72.21% B 3x, Overhead, metal Comments: Panzy 10. Destiny ----- General comments: I love this song. MEDIUM - 6 * 89.02% S- 2x, Overhead, metal Comments: Good steps in general. A good warm-up. HARD - 8 * 82.89% A- 2x, Overhead, metal Comments: Ironically, this isn’t as great as the Medium. I know where they were trying to go with this particular pattern but...it just doesn’t wanna work with me. Determinator ----- HARD - 8 * 89.49% S- 2x, Overhead, metal Disconnected Disco ----- General comments: A decent remake of the already overkilled Disconnected. The only problem is that the step patterns suck so very much. MEDIUM - 6 * 86.89% A+ 2x, Overhead, metal HARD - 8 * 75.61% B 2x, Overhead, metal Energizer ----- General comments: Dare I say orgasmic? I’m sorry, but this song is played practically every time I go to play on the machine. I may not be able to do the 10-Hard, but I can do the other two just fine and that’s good enough for me. EASY - 5 * 94.98% S+ Overhead, metal MEDIUM - 9 * 87.52% A+ Overhead, metal Comments: Probably one of the best, if not the best, pattern in the game. Fleadh Uncut ----- General comments: You know, I evaded this song for some time until my sister came downstate to visit? It’s actually a very nice sounding song and VERY reminiscent of SAKURA that got toned down slightly. Even then, the HARD steps are a trifle difficult because of the second half that uses 16th notes that go at 132BPM. Cool stuff, really...just wish I could pass the EX. HARD - 8 * 89.72% S- 2x, Overhead, metal Funk Factory ----- General comments: Cool song. Okay hand-plants in this one. HARD - 8 * 83.05% A 2.5x, Overhead, metal Habanera 1 ----- General comments: Classic. roflwafl HARD - 7 * 83.81% A 2x, Overhead, metal Hardcore Symphony ----- General comments: A fun unlock. DE rocks regardless but this is just another reason why. Kinda reminds me more of DROP OUT than anything. MEDIUM - 7 * 91.19% S- 2x, Overhead, metal HARD - 9 * 82.39% A- 1.5x, Overhead, metal Comments: Kinda painful with the air, but not so much so. High ----- General comments: Sweet, sweet music. The steps aren’t half-bad either. MEDIUM - 5 * 91.37% S- 2x, Overhead, metal HARD - 7 * 87.90% A+ 2x, Overhead, metal EXPERT - 9 * 88.40% A+ 2.5x, Overhead, metal Comments: A must-play for the people that wanting to pass their first EX. Hustle Beach ----- HARD - 7 * 85.57% A 2x, Overhead, metal Incognito ----- General comments: This was a decent song when I first started out on the ITG2 machine but it started to slowly die for me. It’s not bad, but it just doesn’t seem to stick for me. MEDIUM - 5 * 95.14% S+ 1.5x, Overhead, metal HARD - 8 * 90.49% S- 2x, Overhead, metal July -Euromix- ----- HARD - 8 * 86.47% A+ 2x, Overhead, metal Know Your Enemy ----- General comments: Hooooly crap, this song rocks. The steps for it are lightning fast, but it’s still very doable. The plus would be looking good WHILE doing this. HARD - 9 * 88.19% A+ 2.5x, Overhead, metal Life of a Butterfly ----- HARD - 7 * 90.35% S- 2.5x, Overhead, metal Lipstick Kiss ----- General comments: This is on TV, I think. HARD - 7 * 90.22% S- 2x, Overhead, metal Comments: Wow for some of the jump patterns. EXPERT - 9 * 73.45% B 2x, Overhead, metal Liquid Moon ----- General comments: Well, the song’s okay. This may be a good start for people wanting to get into the HAND usage on HARD but otherwise there’s nothing particularly interesting past that. MEDIUM - 6 * 91.27% S- 1.5x, Overhead, metal HARD - 8 * 83.25% A 2x, Overhead, metal Comments: Some of the steps are pretty awkward. I can see it trying to be hard for a reason but it just doesn’t seem to make sense at times. Little Kitty Mine ----- HARD - 7 * 87.97% A+ 2x, Overhead, metal Monolith ----- General comments: Simply put, the HVAM from Hell. You have to play this thing to see what I mean. Hard is impassible by me. I won’t be able to pass it any time soon, even if it is a 9. MEDIUM - 7 * 92.61% S 1.5x, Overhead, metal Music Pleeze ----- HARD - 7 * 87.62% A+ 2.5x, Overhead, metal No Princess ----- General comments: Kinda cute. HARD - 7 * 90.55% S- 2x, Overhead, metal One False Move ----- General comments: Bitchin. A very good example of how you do a slow song with pausing. EASY - 4 * 90.19% S- 2.5x, Overhead, metal MEDIUM - 7 * 77.40% B+ 2.5x, Overhead, metal HARD - 9 * 76.79% B+ 3x, Overhead, metal Comments: Motherfsck. The run in the center hurts so very fscking much but I love it anyways. Pick Me Up & Tango ----- General comments: Not bad, I guess. HARD - 8 * 89.76% S- 2x, Overhead, metal Reactor ----- General comments: Sucks, really. HARD - 7 * 76.06% B+ 2x, Overhead, metal Renaissance ----- General comments: A very good song. I can tell the genre is close since I’m used to playing A on DDR all the time. This is a good start for those that want to know how to do a roll. MEDIUM - 6 * 90.16% S- 2x, Overhead, metal HARD - 8 * 83.41% A 2x, Overhead, metal Ride the Bass ----- HARD - 7 * 88.88% A+ 2x, Overhead, metal Robotix ----- General comments: Fun and more closer to my style back a year ago with my own stepmaking. The center roll owns. HARD - 8 * 81.06% A- 2x, Overhead, metal Spaceman ----- HARD - 7 * 89.66% S- 2.5x, Overhead, metal Spin Chicken ----- HARD - 7 * 88.55% A+ 2.5x, Overhead, metal Summer in Belize ----- General comments: Another DE song; praise it. Gallop central at the second half preceded by a decent 8th run to get there. HARD - 8 * 89.73% S- 2.5x, Overhead, metal Summer ~Speedy Mix~ ----- General comments: My god. The song isn’t bad to listen to...the steps just hurt so damned much. I was lucky to pass it with my life, it felt like. HARD - 9 * 64.10% C+ 1.5x, Overhead, metal Sunshine ----- General comments: Extended version from DDR. Fine, I guess. HARD - 7 * 88.29% A+ 2x, Overhead, metal Sweet World ----- HARD - 8 * 86.01% A+ 2.5x, Overhead, metal Temple of Boom ----- MEDIUM - 6 * 89.97% S- 2x, Overhead, metal This is Rock and Roll ----- HARD - 7 * 89.06% S- 2x, Overhead, metal Tribal Style ----- General comments: Good song. I just wish I could beat the 10-EX stage. The steps are bitchin, it’s just I don’t have the capacity to get through more than half of it. MEDIUM - 6 * 89.58% S- 2x, Overhead, metal Twilight ----- General comments: I wouldn’t have played this had I not watched someone do this and then attempted to beat that score myself. Lot of hands in this one, but this might be a good start for those looking into HAND planting. There are quite a few in here. MEDIUM - 7 * 83.16% A 1.5x, Overhead, metal Typical Tropical ----- MEDIUM - 5 * 95.07% S+ 2x, Overhead, metal HARD - 7 * 85.82% A 2x, Overhead, metal VerTex^2 ----- General comments: An always-play for me. I think this may grate on a few people’s nerves for the song sound but, really, it kicks ass. Just hope you go for songs that top out at 555BPM... EASY - 5 * 87.26% A+ Overhead, metal MEDIUM - 8 * 86.42% A+ Overhead, metal Visible Noise ----- General comments: Cool song. Horridly offbeat, though. MEDIUM - 6 * 91.42% S- 2x, Overhead, metal HARD - 9 * 75.89% B 2.5x, Overhead, metal Comments: I love these steps; I just can’t do them well. Vorspung Durch - Techno ----- General comments: Classic. roflwafl MEDIUM - 6 * 86.49% A+ 2x, Overhead, metal Wanna Do ~Hardhouse Mix~ ----- General comments: Maybe it was the speed, but I kinda thought MAX 300 here even though it sounds nothing like it. MEDIUM - 6 * 93.22% S 2x, Overhead, metal HARD - 8 * 80.24% A- 2x, Overhead, metal We Know What to Do ----- EXPERT - 9 * 84.62% A 2x, Overhead, metal Anubis ----- HARD - 8 * 79.69% B+ 2.5x, Overhead, metal Bend Your Mind ----- General comments: This song is scary until you do it and survive to tell the story. I mean, shit, the song sounds scary right from the get go. Aside from NOVICE, all the stages have hand plants and an abundance of freeze patterns. The one I did for MEDIUM several times has several times where it forces moves (spinning and turning awkwardly, for one). I haven’t tried HARD yet, but I assume it’s quite devious. MEDIUM - 7 * 85.11% A 2.5x, Overhead, metal Bouff ----- General comments: I think I don’t need to say why this rocks. It’s Machinae Supremacy. I need to try the HARD, though. MEDIUM - 7 * 90.42% S- 1.5x, Overhead, metal Bubble Dancer ----- General comments: Laff song. NOVICE - 1 * (laff) 94.32% S+ C120, Overhead, metal HARD - 7 * 90.82% S- 2x, Overhead, metal Changes ----- HARD - 8 * 89.13% S- 2x, Overhead, metal Dawn ----- HARD - 8 * 88.70% A+ 2x, Overhead, metal Delirium ----- General comments: A cool HARD step, especially the turning and crossing, and the song itself is another reason why does well for the hardcore songs. HARD - 8 * 88.94% A+ 2x, Overhead, metal Disconnected -Hyper- ----- General comments: I play this all the time on the keyboard, but it’s not really that great on the pad. HARD - 9 * 85.55% A 1.5x, Overhead, metal Disconnected -Mobius- ----- General comments: Bitchin song. Bitchin steps. There’s no reason not to play this. MEDIUM - 5 * 96.53% STAR 1.5x, Overhead, metal HARD - 8 * 92.75% S 2x, Overhead, metal EXPERT - 9 * 79.35% B+ 2x, Overhead, metal Disconnected ----- General comments: The original. ph34r MEDIUM - 6 * 92.83% S 1.5x, Overhead, metal HARD - 8 * 91.75% S- 1.5x, Overhead, metal Comments: Center run? Sweet. Drifting Away ----- General comments: Same song from DDR, just extended and resung, really. HARD - 8 * 87.79% A+ 2x, Overhead, metal Euphoria ----- General comments: Damn good song. I won’t pass EX in my lifetime, though. I’ve only passed it on keyboard once or twice. MEDIUM - 6 * 96.20% STAR 2x, Overhead, metal HARD - 9 * 77.37% B+ 2x, Overhead, metal Fly Away ----- HARD - 7 * 88.48% A+ 2x, Overhead, metal Hand of Time ----- HARD - 8 * 80.64% A- 1.5x, Overhead, metal Hardcore of the North ----- General comments: Digital Explosion’s hard-hitter. Don’t expect any of the stages to be easy. MEDIUM - 6 * 90.53% S- 1.5x, Overhead, metal HARD - 9 * 77.18% B+ 2x, Overhead, metal Comments: Very tiring. There are 601 steps in this and a lot of it has to do with turning and crossing an awful lot. Don’t do this if you’re squeamish. I can do this, but sometimes I just pass it up because I feel like shit right afterwards. Hybrid ----- General comments: Machinae. Supremacy. MEDIUM - 6 * 92.44% S 1.5x, Overhead, metal HARD - 9 * 87.27% A+ 1.5x, Overhead, metal Comments: Ohhhh...these steps are so very hard. If I didn’t have to worry about the 16ths at 185 BPM it would be an easier 9. The reason that I keep going is that the song drives me to keep going. This is a step-pattern you do NOT want to have a crowd behind you with. If you’re the show-off type, like me, it will hurt. A lot. I Think I Like That Sound ----- General comments: Song’s not so great and the HARD step is an awkward jump step. Avoid if you don’t want to face it. It’s very passable but it’s kinda sucky. HARD - 8 * 87.75% A+ 2x, Overhead, metal Infection ----- General comments: You HAVE to play this. I won’t pass EX anytime soon, but the HARD step (while misleadingly rated an 8 for 515 steps) rocks by itself. HARD - 8 * 93.92% S 2x, Overhead, metal July ----- MEDIUM - 5 * 93.47% S 1.5x, Overhead, metal Kagami ----- MEDIUM - 5 * 89.03% S- 2x, Overhead, metal HARD - 8 * 90.70% S- 2.5x, Overhead, metal Land of the Rising Sun ----- HARD - 7 * 90.20% S- 2x, Overhead, metal Mellow ----- General comments: The crack song. HARD - 8 * 92.08% S 2x, Overhead, metal Mouth ----- HARD - 8 * 92.09% S 2x, Overhead, metal My Favourite Game ----- General comments: I can pass this damned EX. I know I can. Now the only thing that could make this song better is if they had the original group, The Cardigans, do it instead. HARD - 6 * 93.81% S 1.5x, Overhead, metal Mythology ----- MEDIUM - 7 * 80.50% A- 1.5x, Overhead, metal Oasis ----- General comments: The HARD step to this really isn’t hard. This is another one of those ‘Far East’ songs that makes you go ‘wtf?’ in places. The EX is incredible. HARD - 9 * 87.07% A+ 2x, Overhead, metal Pandemonium ----- General comments: Painful. Unless you know that you’ll show off well in front of company, don’t play it. MEDIUM - 9 * 84.12% A Overhead, metal ROM-eo & Juli8 ----- HARD - 7 * 92.05% S 2x, Overhead, metal Remember December ----- General comments: Not a bad song, actually. The only problem is that the HARD is a pain in the ass of a 9 and I can’t pass it easily. Sucks that the steps are lost on the song itself. MEDIUM - 6 * 93.73% S 1.5x, Overhead, metal Solina ----- HARD - 7 * 84.34% A 2.5x, Overhead, metal Tension ----- General comments: Cool song. The steps themselves, however... MEDIUM - 6 * 87.89% A+ 1.5x, Overhead, metal HARD - 9 * 75.83% B 1.5x, Overhead, metal Comments: I BARELY passed this motherfsck. This thing was a song I HAD to play twice to beat just to get the whole thing down. It hurts a hell of a lot. The Beginning ----- General comments: Neat show-off song. HARD - 8 * 91.48% S- 2x, Overhead, metal Torn ----- HARD - 7 * 92.58% S 2.5x, Overhead, metal Tough Enough ----- HARD - 7 * 79.08% B+ 1.5x, Overhead, metal Utopia ----- General comments: Okay song. Semi-decent steps. Horrible EX step...wtf were they thinking? The EX is the DEFINITION of offbeat. MEDIUM - 5 * 94.93% S+ 1.5x, Overhead, metal HARD - 8 * 86.96% A+ 2x, Overhead, metal VerTex ----- General comments: The end runs at 612BPM. You do the math. MEDIUM - 7 * 90.00% S- Overhead, metal Which MC Was That ----- General comments: Very fun, actually. Not so hard but a good warmup. HARD - 7 * 91.43% S- 3x, Overhead, metal Xuxa ----- General comments: Wack. HARD - 9 * 87.76% A+ 2x, Overhead, metal Zodiac ----- HARD - 7 * 76.82% B+ 2x, Overhead, metal COURSES – AKA MODZDABTCH If the songs themselves weren’t hard enough... ===== A Good Start ----- Normal - 6 * 88.66% A+ 1.5x, Overhead, metal Do You Mine? ----- General comments: Retardedly hard. Normal - 8 * 74.37% B 2x, Overhead, metal Far East ----- General comments: Not an 8. Too easy. Normal - 8 * 82.79% A- 2x, Overhead, metal Freedom ----- Normal - 6 * 86.10% A+ 1.5x, Overhead, metal Hardcore Galore! ----- General comments: The music itself is a keeper for this course. Normal - 6 * 83.61% A Overhead, metal Just Dance ----- General comments: No mods. Just do what it says. Normal - 7 * 90.58% S- 2x, Overhead, metal Outer World ----- Normal - 6 * 88.18% A+ 1.5x, Overhead, metal Party ----- Normal - 5 * 84.30% A 1.5x, Overhead, metal Rock Out ----- Comments: No mods, but a bitchin lineup. Normal - 7 * 87.27% A+ 1.5x, Overhead, metal Sisters ----- General comments: Beware the last stage. It sucks so much. Additionally, this ain’t no 6. Normal - 6 * 65.12% FAILED 1.5x, Overhead, metal Wings ----- Normal - 7 * 84.75% A 2x, Overhead, metal Bubblegum Pop ----- Normal - 6 * 84.39% A 2x, Overhead, metal Fusion ----- General comments: The last stage uses FLIP. Shit. Normal - 6 * 65.47% FAILED 2x, Overhead, metal +++ Honorable mention: Driven ----- Normal - 9 0.00% FAILED (yes, I had % at a point) Overhead, metal I tried Driven, which is a 9 and has sweet, sweet music. It’s modded to Hell, unfortunately. The first stage might be passable by me but...lmfao...Pandemonium modded to Hell was funny to watch and harder than Hell to play at the very beginning. Had I figured out the pattern at the beginning I would have passed it...but it would have ended soon after, I think. It’s really something to see to believe. >>>>> (edited by Millenia-sama on 08-09-06 02:28 PM) |

Originally posted by Emptyeye A thing to remember, though. Most of the scores, especially the ones with no comments on them, are ones I've only done once or twice. There are a select few I've done better on in the past week (most notable, One False Move; that damned song is great on Hard and I pushed it to 88%). Driven I got through the first stage today, barely, and immediately failed when Energizer started. Fucking Boomerang. Tribal Style I could do if I had just a little bit more stamina. I was dying about halfway in so that's why I quite. The song isn't so bad it's just I use too much stamina to hit certain steps and, consequently, I run out of juice before I need to get moving again. Right around the part where there are less steps I start losing it and that's mostly because after a huge amount of stream I'm not used to slowing down; it takes me a second to adjust. If I don't adjust, I die right there - plain and simple. As for the course scores, it was just when I played them. I've only played each one once and I think Rock Out was one that I did later on. Rock Out, however, has MachSup all over it and I play those songs like crazy...that could be a big reason why. Ironically, Bubble Dancer was the first ITG song I ever did. Infection I've passed on keyboard decently (an A). I will never pass it on pad. I guarantee it. Read speed for me is anywhere between 250-350 and perhaps a little more. I can see the end of VerTex2 for instance, just fine, mostly because I play with C500/C512 on SM all the time anyways. VerTex, however, pushes me slightly. If I could cheat I would put it at C350. That would be kick ass. They have 250. They have 450. Not 350. WHY? I've done some more and procured a 2GB flash drive (SanDisk Micro - U3 REMOVED THANK YOU) today soooo I'll have a better way of keeping track of my stuff instead of asking for the whole freaking machine profile. I tell you, that was a lot of info that I had to sort through to get those 20 pages or more of material typed out. Okay, that's it for the 'rebuke'. I need to mention that I re-did Zodiac on Hard to about 82%. However, the EX has been done by someone and was done months ago. Said person doesn't come there anymore. He passed it with an 83.15%; I can't even pass it. The steps go apeshit halfway through. Also, I tried another Survival (I never mentioned before that I did, but I did and failed horribly). Cohesion I got to the fourth stage and died. Survival is unforgiving. There is no way to do it easily unless you, literally, AAA or rather FCP each stage. I had 19 Greats and a Decent when I died. Originally posted by VGFreak877 I can tell you now that the system has a bit to be desired but it really isn't that bad. It feels like it was KH, basically, with the commands put in a certain 'leadership' mode. The overall story comes to a head halfway through and SPLITS into two parts. This, in turn, means that this has replay written all over it and it does deliver well in that regard. The top thing I liked about it was the unlocks and the ability to get around 180 or so characters at your disposal, some from various Tri-Ace games. Yes. Yes. Lenneth too is an unlock...and she's wicked cool (at about 9000 HP when you get her). Props to her deathmove, Nibelung Valesti, in PS2 graphics. Another big thing is the ability to replay much like Disgaea. It's a little limited in that sense, but any character that you've unlocked/made friends with you get when restart. Any techniques that you've learned, you keep. I'm not sure about items, however. If it's 20 bucks right now, I'd get it. I paid about 30 or so for mine a few months ago and I sure as heck liked it. That's probably a reason I want to check out Valkyrie Profile 2 when it comes out. EDIT: Out of continuing curiosity, I decided to sticky this thread. I figure this would be a good reference thread, namely because of the fact that people can look at reasons why someone would get a game and might incorporate it for themselves over a given amount of time. Originally posted by Yokozuna Ed I figured I'd take your word on it and played the Hard of that one. It is a good song. OFM definitely is a hard but very kickass 9. I can do the handplants just fine; they're a lot easier than stuff like Bend Your Mind or Twilight on Medium. As for doublesteps, they're not bad slow, but when they're going fast as hell then they're not really that fun. That would be jacking. An example of that, that I've created at least, would be Cool City on Oni. 12-footer from Hell.

When I was a kid it was anything between Soccer, Baseball and Basketball. Unfortunately, I had to deal with asthma (still do) for a large majority of the time so I was repeatedly 'down' to play anything between age 4 and 14...so I didn't really do too well.

The only thing that qualifies that I still do would be DDR/ITG and that's really helped my stamina quite a bit. I could probably take on sports again but...hey...I'm 22 in about 2 days and I don't go to college, currently. :\ |
