All the EX steps are hell as far as I'm concerned. The easiest I've seen so far for EX is High and that one's a pretty fun one, actually...I think I've passed that with an 88%+.

I think my absolute limit on those is Disconnected -Mobius-. I do better on Cryosleep (a 10) than I do on -Mobius- (a 9) just for the sheer fact that you're dodging about 150 mines in -Mobius- over none in Cryosleep.

Bumble Bee EX I passed the first time and it's not half bad but it does have a large amount of chaos that I'm not really used to for songs...maybe on keyboard but not on feet.

I called him long-distance for about half-and-hour (5 cents a minute tho).

That was some fun.

God, I miss being on full-time.

I tried a couple extra in the ITG2 lineup.

Robotix gave me a wtf the first time I played that on hard. It says 150 BPM steady. Horseshit. I about laughed my ass off at the center roll.

I think I remember that one...it was done some time ago.

That was the one where they continually used the L+R or U+D trick to have Link gain some speed throughout the entire run. Normally, you wouldn't be able to do that with a normal controller.

Still, it is fun to see that game be beat in the time it was. Even the <4 min one has SOME merit of watching.

I'm just curious as to the top three that people are going to buy that are either out now or are coming out soon and your reasons why. Basically, I'm just comparing, although I might find that a lot of people are buying the same thing or a lot of people aren't buying a particular one.

Whatever.

Anyways, the top three for mine are as follows:

>>>

1. Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories (08-29-2006 US)

I don't think my title says enough about it, but this is probably the high one on my list. I don't think I've had a better time with any other RPG recently than the original Disgaea (maybe Makai Kingdom...but even then...). If the second one is as good as I think it'll be, I won't be around much, if at all. The original consumed 170 hours of my life and I could have gone even further with it. This will likely be the same.

2. Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria (09-26-2006 US)

You know, I never got to play the original to this? I've tried so many times to find the game and I never found it in a gaming store. Thankfully, this series seems to have been given new life several years later. I know how it looks, I know what to expect...and if it's anything like how Radiata Stories delivered, then I'm practically sold. I'll definitely be thinking about this one when it comes out.

3. Kingdom Hearts 2 (Out Now US)

I don't think I really need to explain why I'm getting this one, it's just I haven't yet. I would have put something than another RPG but really this deserves a spot on my top three.

>>>

So what are you guys saving for?

Hack the ROM to do exactly that and I would be in that tourney soooo fast.

I think there's a parameter for that in the stepmania.ini file. SONGSFOLDER if I'm not mistaken. Just put the path to the songs there. I know that the online variant of SM had you do that instead of making two different SM installations.

By the way, you were right EE; D-Code was a panzy 10.

I had a hell more time passing Summer ~Speedy Mix~ on Hard and Visible Noise on Hard. Visible Noise was fun as hell...it's just it's as offbeat. Summer is just fucking tough. I was lucky to pass it with a 64%.
