Usually I'll get that way about any game, to be honest. There's only so much of a game I can play before I can go back and pick it up. I find that if I didn't do that, it would get incredibly boring playing the same thing day in and day out...

...which makes me wonder how in the hell I got 170 hours in Disgaea...but I digress; that game kicks ass...

I'd just basically take the advice noted in this thread. Go outside, kick a can, read a book, nuke the whales. Do something to kill time and then come back and play any given game (provided said games don't suck).

I'll admit that I really didn't even view Standard and Light even though I probably should have given your first "released" sim. I say this because not very many people will view a sim for difficulties other than Heavy or Oni unless the foot rating is 10 or above...possibly 9 in some cases.

As for what you were talking about the streams, I can understand where you're trying to come from but at the same time you COULD have jostled the step choices up just a bit. Step-Jump-Step-Jump rhythms get old just like any other technique that you can employ in sims. You can CONNECT them with some other techniques though and that usually makes for a decent mix around.

So you could do your first technique, step-jump for several measures, offshoot into something else for a few, come back to step-jump, offshoot into a third and repeat. In marathon files like that, you HAVE to make it so that the person DOES NOT fall asleep. Straight out runs without a lot of changing up doesn't really help. For a standard sized file, however, I could see that working...but in the longer versions of the files it gets a little harder to keep the attention of people. I say this because I've had quite a bit of experience with getting long versions and marathons out and I know what people want and what they don't like based on what I made.

A controversial ups-and-downs sim that I made that was close to this one that I had SOOOO much trouble getting a decent sim out of was SO DEEP Full Version. The main problem about it was that the song had a spot where it basically shut up for a long time without any beat. That made for a really, really hard thing to get through so I had to make the steps as best I could and make sure that people were going to sit through a six-and-a-half-minute song. Take a look at that and you'll see what I mean about keeping people awake...that or the better done 2MB Megamix if you want a VERY good Marathon that I've done.

Hmm...makes me wonder if the fact that he just got done interviewing with VC&G has anything to do with this...

Was it about MA? Because, that was the exact same thing he just got done talking about with them... [checks] Ah...yep, but VC&G got word of him two or three days earlier. Wonder what circulated his hack; I'm guessing it might've been the time attacks done by Bisqwit.

Regardless, I'm not surprised he's getting recognition...even if this really isn't his best work, it's still a great effort regardless.

Ahh...I don't think those were the lyrics.

They were closer to: "Have my house now take a boot." and "Half muskrat; Christie's p..." well yea...

Check the forums on that site, though. There are non-TAS'd runs (by that, doesn't use slowdowns or re-records) there, it's just they don't get published. They're to a forum by themselves.

I was kinda impressed by the Gradius II run without dying...otherwise I really couldn't care if it's been 'cheated' or whatever. It's entertainment...not a statement of superiority.

I don't think you have to worry that much...taking a look at what I found, cats are about the same as us in that regard:

During its lifetime, a cat has two sets of teeth, a deciduous set and a permanent set. Kittens have 26 deciduous teeth (molars are absent); adult cats have a total of 30 teeth.

Deciduous or “milk teeth” begin to appear when the kitten is about four weeks of age. At six weeks of age all 26 deciduous teeth are present. From 11 to 30 weeks of age, kittens lose their deciduous teeth. During this time they may eat less because of sore gums.

When the deciduous teeth fall out, they are replaced by 30 permanent teeth. The permanent teeth should be in place by about six months of age.

A cat's teeth are well-suited to rip and cut. Twelve tiny teeth in the front of the mouth (incisors): six in the upper jaw, six in the lower jaw do some scraping. They are flanked by two upper and two lower canines, sometimes described as “fangs,” designed to hold prey and to tear flesh. Ten sharp premolars and four molars act together to cut food.

A cat occasionally retains a deciduous tooth after the permanent tooth appears. This deciduous tooth should be removed as soon as possible to avoid displacing the permanent tooth.

Extra teeth are occasionally found in cats. They should be removed by a veterinarian if they cause crowding or injury to soft tissue or other teeth.

I would take the kitten to the vet just to be safe, but I'm pretty sure it's normal.

I suggested this far too long ago...I don't know why it wasn't ever implemented when the board STARTED so long ago.

Personally, I'd go the Re: [#] route. All other BBs that use it just usually take off the extra Re: and that's it. At least that would make us somewhat unique.

The legality in question warrants as much worry as ripping the tag off a bed matress. That's about all you have to worry about.
