| You can load hacked savestates, but that would be the only thing you have for online play. No rewind/fast forward features.
As for getting on ZSNES via the net, it's really not that difficult. Both people should have the same version of ZSNES (I'd recommend 1.36 over 1.42 for now due to netplay issues with the newest version) and the same copy/filename of the ROM so you don't get an error such as incompatible version of ZSNES or ROM data mismatch. From there, it's a matter of having the server''s IP and figuring who you want to be server. The person who is server should give the IP out to the client and the client should type in the IP and connect. The serve should hit 'Start as server'. A good majority of the time you won't have to worry about much else unless you're dealing with firewall issues and can't connect, in which case the firewalls/routers in question should open up UDP port 7845 for recieve and send. If that doesn't work, try disabling UDP and use the TCP route by unchecking the button. Doubt I missed anything. Post if I did. |

Kefka's a wannabe. I say this and at the same time say that FF6 is probably the best FF I've played thus far.

However, most of the villans up there would open a can of whoop-ass on him right quick if they ever got a chance. All he's good for is going 'Uwe he he he' all the time. Personally, Ex-death gets my vote. He defined fucking up a world before Kefka and Sephiroth did and he defined sadistic power being confined by crystals before Necron did. Add to the fact that he's not an obscure boss like Necron or even Ultimecia in FF8 by FAR and is actually a VERY big element in the entire game...I'd pretty much give him my points there. Could be wrong, but people'd have to give me some serious convincing to change my mind.

...though it is 4 AM now...which means it's a perfect time for me to crank out the old writing skills. We'll see if there's any differences from last time. I might as well point out some things that need to be changed in this list too, since we keep using the same thing over and over and over and over and I've already called someone not named Bolin Innocent 9 times now. Mosts Winter '06: 1. Sweetest - You know, I'll take this into some consideration for a second...[second]...Yoro. 2. Cutest guy - Not my department. 3. Cutest girl - Hmm...also not my department. Can't say there aren't any, though. 4. Cutest couple - You know, I'd say Sofie and Jiz, but I haven't heard from Jiz in forever and I rarely if ever get a chance to drag Sofie here anymore. It's a damn shame too. I'll go the cute YD and Danielle one because it just feels right at the moment. 5. Funniest - Ehhhh dunno...I haven't had anyone bust a gut for me except me as of late except maybe SuperKawaiiNeko for a ref towards Ranma � in a thread...though it wasn't quite bust a gut laughing more than 'haw, someone mentioned that anim�'...yea, I'm reaching. 6. Nicest - Nicest...hmm...I'd have to go Kasumi on that one. 7. Innocent - Colin. Because he's not named Bolin. 8. Evilest - Taryn. Hands down. I'm never going to get over my 21st birthday. 9. Most fun to talk to - Anyone I IM/IRC the majority of the time. You know who you are...at the same time there are a few newer faces I'm liking around here as of late. Been rather decent lately. 10. Craziest/Most insane - Anya. Duh? 11. Smartest - This is ironic. I'd probably give this one to Alastor but at the same time I know where his weak points lie. I find it fun sometimes to exploit them in conversation. 12. Kinkiest/Most perverted - Kawa-onnechan. Because I vote for Boss-san every year and he always gets whooped on by Melvin. One of these years though... 13. Most mysterious - ACMLM. You can never tell what he's planning next...mostly because he just...doesn't speak a lot anymore. 14. Most witty - I should be a shoe-in for this damn category. Fuck Cymoro, it's me! 15. Shadiest - "I am ||bass. I am an administrator on this network...and...on this network...and...sup? Haw haw haw haw haw hawww..." 16. Suave - Phil. Because he'll laugh when he reads it...if he does. 17. Hopeless - Grey and DahrkDaiz. Just keep truckin' men. 18. Most unique - You know...no one fits this category. 19. Most serious - ...again...no on fits this category...cept maybe me. 20. Most reclusive - ACMLM. Because it's the same damn thing as mysterious...almost. 21. Best pacifist - Emptyeye. True neutral ftw. 22. Best at advice - Ehh...I take all kinds. There's really no 'best' more than people actually doing the job of giving it. 23. Best writer (poetry and otherwise) - You know, I really haven't been in that for a while, so I wouldn't be the best judge. Take a look at the people that frequent SB/SF. More than likely you get a winner out of that crew. 24. Most creative (all-around) - You know, I'm actually kinda torn on this one. I've seen some spectacular stuff in MA as of late. I'd say Taryn, but I voted her earlier, so I'll just put my three as Cruel Justice, JDavis, and Teddylot for now. 25. Most changed - I...don't know really. 26. Most likely to get together - See 'Cutest Couple'. 27. Most likely to be a politician - Ziff. God help us if I'm right. 28. Best admin - From here I'll vote top three. Keep in mind, though, this newest staff that's been put together has been a really good one. I'm mighty impressed with the flow that it's had in comparison to the past one in '05. Most likely to succeed - You know...anyone that has a life and a sound financial future. You got that, you'll succeed. 44. Most helpful - Ehh...tossup. Not really anyone is MOST in particular. 45. Best ROM Hacker - DahrkDaiz because I dunno and he's the only ROM Hacker extraordinaire or whatever that I seem to talk to on a daily basis...non-daily, though, I do talk to them. 46. Best SMW Hacker - Your guess is as good as most people's here...even though we're all on a ROM Hack board and should know. 47. Most likely to never appear on staff - See 'Most likely to be banned member'. 48. Worst holiday name change - Hey an original one. Hey, I don't have an answer, wtf? 49. Most emo - max, though I think he knows. 50. Most drunkard - NSNick, Taryn, Anya...the only three anyone would dare vote for. 51. Most likely to vote for him/herself - Gavin. Eh...ours was pretty much of the semi-violent type when we had to deal with our parents before the divorce. Right around that time, tempers were an easy flare....so shit happened...but nothing that you would write to DCFS about. That would be for the parent that is currently not in our lives anymore to add to that department's waiting list...fucking bastard.

Anyways, they still get that way between us but, mostly it's just verbally kicking each other's ass. Very rarely does either side get irked enough to want to chokehold someone or bite/pinch...that kind of thing. I guess it all depends on the environment you're raised in. I'm pretty sure we'd get along a lot better if we both didn't have to deal with a retard of a father. Doesn't help my mother tends to be spineless a whole lot either so my sister tends to walk all over her at age 14. Other mothers would probably not give it a second thought so I'm the one that usually has to keep her in line...then my mother bitches to me because I'm being a father figure... ...least SOMEONE'S being a parental figure. I'm playing babysitter half the time with both of them anyways. So, how 'bout them Knicks? I love rants.

People in general - Someone that isn't an asshole. You know, the type of people that generally make themselves out to be dumbasses which in turn get laughs by hick communities, etc. I grew up in such places so, not surprisingly, I hated high school like that. I think the whole thing of having a decent sense of humor is a good thing but, at the same time, it doesn't hurt if the person knows when to draw the line. If I'm always thinking you're in sarcastic mode, I wouldn't know when to take you seriously.

Friends in general - Step up from people in general. Basically, I know you well enough that I'd personally trust you with my life if it came down to it. I probably overkill on the amount of trust that I put in people sometimes, which can be a good or a bad thing depending on the circumstance, so what I would expect in return is the reinforcement to that which, most times, comes anyways. I don't take well to backstabbers or people that put me in a situation that I don't want to be in, but at the same time I can forgive easily if rectified correctly (i.e. I'm not a dumbass to let some person who thinks they're my friend to walk all over me). Otherwise, go to the asshole people pile. I'd want nothing to do with you and I can give you a cold shoulder worse than the general public and not give it a second thought. Partners in general - Ohhh god this is a pain in the ass to get right. You know I looked into several types of relationships and I've only had four but I know what I would want out of someone and so far each of them seem to fail in the category of settling down/submitting to maturity for once. I'll clarify: there've been times where I've had the other want something out of me that I can't possibly do or I can't possibly do ALL THE TIME. Rather than coming to an understanding about this, however, the person would rather bitch, moan, and complain about it. Not cool. Out of a person like that, I wouldn't give you much more really. I HAVE to have someone who's understanding in a relationship. Not just one aspect...I'm talking everything that encompasses me. I don't have the slightest problem doing it the other way around and if there's something that I don't like, I ask and try to find out why the person is the way they are. I mean, isn't that the whole point? If you're going to be with someone the rest of your life, wouldn't you want to know everything about that person; wouldn't you want to understand that person so that you wouldn't be met with something down the road that could screw you over something royally like I've seen so many times in relationships/marriages? People just don't exercise this. That and keeping things serious. Personally, I'm not in relationships for a one night, month, or year time period. Uh uh. When I get to that point of saying the three words, I mean it; I want no one else. Then things tend to iron out the way they always do. I get uninteresting, the other wants stuff out of me that I can't possibly do, yadayada the thing fizzles out like a can of soda on a hot day. So, anymore, I don't really look for relationships. They just keep adding on more trouble than they're worth most times. That's not to say I wouldn't enjoy having a relationship like the one I described but...I have a feeling that it won't happen anytime soon, if at all.

That, and your DIV, though centered, doesn't expand right. It expands top-first then towards the bottom. I had old (bad) code that did that. Anya/Rydain's layout is an example. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
