Sony Fontopia model MDR-EX71SLA.

For the love of god, buy them. Best pair I've ever had.

Yes, I posted in an ACS thread about them. They're that good.

You know, I've got games upon games that I've yet to beat and/or play and I still feel a bit hungry for something retro. You know, play something that I've probably long since forgot about and need a revival for. So...I just made this thread to help that particular craving.

In other words, I need some ideas on some old, long since killed, good games to play. I'll start with my own:

1. Donkey Kong '94 - (Super) Game Boy -

I know that there are newer 'versions' of this game since the redone version premiered on the GBA but there just didn't seem to be one made that could ever capture the spirit of the original. I could easily blow two hours beating the whole thing without taking a break and have loads of fun playing it. God knows that the whole 'getting the best time' for every single level was a clever hook for draining the time out of my younger years. Now I wonder why I'm so old so fast now. :\

This is when I wish I was getting word if I got credit enough to get that one comp I was looking at. >> My five-year-old is cranky about these.

It's not so much that I already know that writing in the soloist's terms goes in here but there always seems to be a problem with people posting their one-shots or their ideas in terms of writing or maybe even a whole novel:

No one ever seems to post any feedback.

This hasn't been going on just recently, but spans quite the onset of time. Every so often there will be a person, in this most recent case - Forte.EXE, will post something pertaining to a single-person write and one of two things will happen: 1) It gets posted here and no one pays it any regard. 2) It gets posted in the Story Forum or Sim-Battle Forum and everyone gives said person a big to-do over the confusion and moves it here anyways where it collects dust. I don't think I've seen many people posting back about writing stuff since Khar left us...and that's been about two years ago. I actually remember there being some SORT of a discussion that may have spanned close to 10 posts in Anya's forum.

So, my want for such a forum is two-fold: It will allow more focus and possibly encourage on more solo writing styles or ideas that could be used in general or possibly a sideshot for SF or SB. The second thing is that it will possibly make such a thing more organized so that people that are not familiar with the Story Forum have a place where they can post their own ideas and possibly get some recognition for it.

That way, when Most comes around, you actually have more to go on than some goofy SF experience. Maybe some actual writing potential (not that I'm saying there isn't any in SF/SB but ya know...).

Based on what? Most of the time I see people wanting a seperate forum that I talk to for such things. If anything, if done right, it'd encourage it.

Course, there'd have to be a strong base over it. It might let people that actually have the talent come forward or those that already post in other forums related to that come forward as well with their own thing.

I'm not saying it's going to be one of those forums that 'will be put in and must be used or else all die'...I'm just basically wondering if it would be a forum that would be interesting enough to be used at least somewhat. I mean we have a Big Topics forum still...

Then again, this would have a hell of a lot more merit than that.

Oh. Oops?

I almost said Game Creation.

Still, I've seen this work on lesser working forums before. I bet it could do well if we had the proper people (mods) helping it out.

Hiryuu: "What are you---"

That's when a gigantic flash came from the device. For a little thing, it did its job fairly well. At least Rain was complaining about it silently after shielding her eyes as the whole stadium lit up.

After the lights decided to stop irritating Rain's line of sight, she got a decent glimpse of how things turned out afterwards. She sighed and shook her head.

Hiryuu had his head down, he had a metal rod clenched in his hand, shaking a bit from the pressure that was being exerted toward him.

Hiryuu: "Ow..."

He tried blinking. It wasn't giving him much except a tremendous amount of pain in return. So much for vision for a bit.

Hiryuu: "Damn...you..."

Which is when he started glowing yellow momentarily afterwards. Well, at least he looked intimidating enough.

Because when we do, as SS pointed out, people tend to ignore it or don't even visit this forum for this particular purpose anyways. Heck, there was a reason I sticked this because I figured this POLL might get ignored because it had the term 'writing' in it.

I sure as hell hope my old school doesn't do anything stupid like a five-year reunion. That would suck.

As for stuff tonight...eh...over at my father's playing PS2. Before this year, that would have been an impossibility in more ways than one.

I'm gonna make it a point right now to not ask stuff like this in this thread from here on out. The person in this case can ask via PM.

Likely they were banned to begin with for a good reason. If they can't ask period it was for an even better one.

Honestly, it should probably be the way of Breakfast is the biggest meal of the day, then Lunch then Dinner but damn...

I don't even eat breakfast, I'm lucky to get a lunch...so logic dictates I gotta eat at some point.

I can say, however, that I have eaten bigger breakfasts than some dinners I've had before. Sausage, Biscuits and Gravy, in the AM, is a win for me...provided I didn't have drainage from last night that doesn't allow me to eat for the first hour. I'm really not the type to eat right after I get up no matter what time it is.
